Scandals

Why you shouldn't become a Kpop Star

"I'm going to become a Kpop star to get close to my oppas!~" No. That's the worse idea I've ever heard in my life, although this isn't a rare idea coming from fans.....

Becoming a Kpop star just to get close to your Oppa is like sacrificing your own life and privacy for a stranger that's hot. If you're thinking, "totally worth it." then go forth, and forcanate thyself (If you can understand that, then Shakespearan plays should be easy to understand for you).

Anyways, going back to the main topic. If you do actually become a Kpop star and you actually started dating your Oppa, then there will be a huge scandal and who knows what will happen next. I'm 100% sure the consequences will include hate-mail, no privacy (if you know what I mean), stalkers who want to know more about the scandals and your boss screaming his off right in your ear (most record labels don't allow dating).

There aren't just relationship scandals, there are also plastic surgery scandals. Going back to the first chapter, being forced to do plastic surgery because the record labels aren't satisfied with your appearance. Plastic surgery may look natural, but you can never hide it. Fans will go to the extent of digging up the photos from your middle and high school that you desperately tried to hide.  Some people don't like idols who have had plastic surgery and start hating on them and calling them plastic. Once you go plastic, you can never go back. You're practically throwing away the face that your parents contributed into giving you and traded it for something that hundreds of others girl have. Anyone remember Miss Korea 2013? No? Because they all look practically the same. It's as if someone photocopied one of them onto the computer and 3d printed the whole lot.

Do you remember this gif?

That's right. If your manager goes around whacking fans, then you're going to take the blame. "Omg, (insert group here)'s manager just hit a fan. Totally not supporting (insert group here) anymore". That is what happened to groups like SHINee and EXO M. You may have to be prepared to take on the responsibility of your stupid manager's hitting-fan-actions. But the thing is, most idols don't do anything to stop it. Or rather, they don't have the power to do anything. Most of them are merely instructed to 'continue walking to your destination' despite of all the ruckus that happens around them. Why? Because they have to get to their next signing/fan-meet or concert quickly. An injury doesn't matter to them at all. The most you can do is act worried, but you can't actually stop to help anyone. This is because once you help one fan, the others would want to get hit so they could receive the same "Oppa-is-worried-for-you" treatment. So if you're going to become a KPOP star, then be prepared for a hell lot of bashing. Be prepared to be slapped on the title of 'heartless'. Either way - if you help someone, you're going to get bashed by your manager and CEO. If you don't, you're going to get bashed by your fans. Your choice.

And finally - drug intakes and smoking. Remember the scandal of G Dragon smoking , and justifying that he had thought it was a cigarette that he had given from a fan? Well, heaps of people ended up hating him because he set an bad example for all the fans that had supported him before. Definitely not a pretty sight. But most idols would try to act nice and accept these gifts from their fans despite not knowing what they are.

No matter how much you try to explain the situation or convince others that it wasn't your fault, your efforts will be futile. There will be people that you just cannot convince. So if you are a KPOP star, then you better be careful of everything you do. You shouldn't smoke, you shouldn't do drugs, you shouldn't stuff your face in a buffet (i.e. you have to eat like a civilised human being), you shouldn't go to hotels with the opposite gender (or for something even more scandolus, with the same gender, especially if you are a guy. But hey, imagine all the happy fans), you shouldn't have a bad attitude, you shouldn't look tired on stage, etc, etc, etc.

Becoming a KPOP is basically restricting your life and giving away the last ounce of freedom that you hold. You're basically a bird that willingly plucked its wings off for someone else's enjoyment and your own suffering.

Chapter 5: I never thought of these items in that way whenever I saw them so I'm kinda offended by reading this. I love body pillows but by no means do I have ill thoughts about them. Let's differentiate the sickos from fans pls.
