The day of the rehearsal was spent preparing everthing for a basic run through of the big event. By the afternoon we were in the hall awaiting our entrances. Every adult in the procession was wearing formal cloths with the bride wearing a 'rehearsal dress' as the designer called it.
Jae Hyun straightened my bow tie for the fifth time this time completely undoing it.
"Sorry," He said hanging his head on my shoulder.
"Calm down, It's not like you're getting married." I joked.
"Ha ha, you are hilarious." He stood going for my tie again. I side stepped him grabbing his hand.
"I don't think anything else can be done to it but knowing you, it would catch fire or something else to make it completely useless." He laughed quietly, squeezing my hand.
"Dasom's cousin is late he's the ring bearer." He said stepping closer his head still on my shoulder. For a moment I forgot where we were and was about to wrap my arms around him until his father called him away and he let go of my hand. He winked at me then turned to speak to his father. I pulled myself together just in time to watch Dasom come down the stairs. I smiled at her as she twirled around and showed off her engagement ring.

I gave her empty expressions even if I was hurting I wouldn't do her the displeaser of having ruined her wedding because I'm trying to achieve something that will probably never happen. She ran to Jae Hyun he hugged her and told her she looked beautiful. He caressed her face and it was all I could take. I turned away, it was time to start.

Outside I stood to the side as they walked down the aisle together. I watched as they bowed, as they held hands, and as they pledged their love to one another. I watched how they simulated putting on their rings and how real it would be tomorrow. How he held her gently when he kissed her. I walked away, not wanting to witness anymore. He smiled my way but I couldn't smile back, I couldn't pretend at the moment.
