Marcus and Sophie eating at the school cafeteria and chatting

 

 

Marcus: Good thing we got there five minutes earlier than she did

 

Sophie: Yeah, if we were late one more time we would have been dropped!

 

Marcus: If that happened, I blame you

 

Sophie: Me?! Why me?

 

Marcus: You were the one who was late!

 

Sophie: Touché

 

Marcus: So why were you late huh?

 

Sophie: I had my monthly visitor

 

Marcus: Your what? Visitor? Who?

 

Sophie: Its not a person you dummy!

 

Marcus: Then what is … OH. That monthly visitor

 

Sophie: Wow seriously Marcus? You’re so slow

 

Marcus: Meanie! So what if you had it?

 

Sophie: Well I ran out of pads so I asked Aiden to buy them for me

 

Marcus: You did what?! (almost choking on his food)

 

Sophie: I asked him to buy them for me, what do you want me to do walk around wi …

 

Marcus: ACK! Okay fine I understand! Remind me to buy you a month’s supply so you won’t be late every time you have your period

 

Sophie: Wow that would be great!

 

Marcus: You do know that it was a joke right?

 

Sophie: Psh. Killjoy! You know what’s weird?

 

Marcus: That this sandwich doesn’t taste good?

 

Sophie: Not that you dork! I mean this morning when I asked him to buy it for me, he knew what to buy

 

Marcus: And so? I mean maybe he saw it in your room or something

 

Sophie: He never goes in my room

 

Marcus: How sure are you?

 

Sophie: I’m pretty sure.

 

Marcus: You’re not at your house the whole time so you don’t exactly know what happens

 

Sophie: You mean to tell me he sneaks around my things?

 

Marcus: That and he’s gay

 

Sophie: WHAT?! What makes you think that?

 

Marcus: Well he knows the ‘right pad’

 

Sophie: Yeah and so?

 

Marcus: Well it’s rare for guys to know that stuff!

 

Sophie: You are such a judger you know that? Maybe he just has a sister or mom of course!

 

Marcus: Maybe, maybe (touches his chin) O__o

 

Sophie: Tch seriously Cus? Never mind that! So where we going later?

 

Marcus: Beats me.

 

Sophie: Oh c’mon now!

Aiden going through the files of the company that Professor Kim works for, he’s typing in his laptop and researches on this person that they call ‘buzz’. He feels that his research is not as helpful so he proceeds to their main office.

 

*Inside SME Building*

 

He goes in the research room he’s surrounded by three computer screens and each one researching everything and anything about Professor Kim.

Aiden’s eyes shift from one screen to another as he reads the information about this mystery person after sometime he learns about this person and exits the room to go to Andrew Choi’s office. As he is walking towards the office, somebody grabs him from the hall way into a small dark hall along the office

He grabs this person by the arm and twists it.

 

 

Aiden: What do you think you’re doing??

 

Man: STOP please! I have to tell you something!

 

Aiden: About what?

 

Man: You are not who you think you are!

 

Aiden: What are you talking about?

 

Man: I’ll tell you but not here. Follow me

 

Aiden follows the man wearing sunglasses and a cap, on the stairwell up to the rooftop. They continue their conversation once they reached their destination.

 

Aiden: Okay I followed you here so what’s going on!

 

Man: This company has kept secrets from you

 

Aiden: What?? (disbelief)

 

Man: Do you remember your last mission?

 

 

Aiden: I … I … it was for the royalty of England

 

 

Bits and pieces of his an event was flashing in his head but he couldn’t figure it out still. He was beginning to feel dizzy but decided to continue on to find out what was going on

 

 

Man: Wrong! You don’t remember do you?

 

 

Aiden: I-I was in a comma after that how am I supposed to remember!

 

 

Man: They only said that so they could take over your situation. They lied to you Aiden, they LIED!

 

 

Aiden: But I ho … Why would they do that?

 

 

Man: Its all because you are with her.

 

 

Aiden: Her? Who are you talking about?

 

 

Man: I’m talking about the girl you are assigned with

 

 

Aiden: Sophie?? What does she have to do with this??

 

 

Flashbacks play while the man tells the story.

 

 

Man: I know this is gonna be hard to believe but please listen, (breathes) You are Sophie Kim’s boyfriend and because Professor Kim has this top secret project, SilverLine wants it so he could use it for his own desires.

He tried to get it from Professor Kim numerous times already but he hid it very well and wouldn’t give it up no matter what, so SilverLine decided to torture the ones closest to his heart.

On September 24^th of 2011, as you and Sophie were walking along their street, a group of men stopped you and took Sophie away from you. You went on to look for her, she was in this warehouse and she was tied in a chair in the middle of that room …

 

 

As the man told the story, everything became clear in Aiden’s head that the dream that he had every single night were Sophie. It was her, screaming for help but he was stopped.

 

 

Man: You were about to go get her but the moment you stepped closer to her, a bomb went off that made you unconscious. When the team got there you were hurt so bad and Sophie was also lying there motionless we were about to approach her but SilverLine got ahead of us and got her. After the incident you were in a coma for almost a year and when you woke up, you couldn’t remember certain things almost like you were rebooted, Andrew being SilverLine’s apprentice took the advantage and made you forget completely about her and everyone around you.

 

 

Aiden: Mister Choi was in this too?

 

 

Man: Yes unfortunately, the other staff failed to notice that but I didn’t

 

 

Aiden: How did you know all of this?

 

 

Man: Because, I’m your brother Aiden

 

 

The man took of his glasses and cap revealing VINCENT, 25, Aiden’s younger brother, a weapons and techie in SME.

 

 

Aiden: Brother?? I …

 

When Aiden saw his face something in head hurt and began pacing back and forth

 

 

Vincent: When you were in a comma, the company sent me to another location so I could be distracted and that I wouldn’t know of their plan but they thought wrong. I found out their plan and when I was about to stop them, Andrew accused me of betraying the company which caused me to be fired but that didn’t stop me from investigating and watching over you. You must be careful in trusting Andrew Choi, Aiden.

 

 

It was too much for Aiden to take in so he stopped and looked at Vincent

 

 

Aiden: Thanks for the info, I’ll be going now (Walks away but is stopped when Vincent started talking again)

 

 

Vincent: I know you don’t believe the things I just said but if you reconsider, give me a call

 

Vincent walks up to him, gives him a card and exits

Aiden stands there looking at the card then at Vincent leaving him there thinking of what just happened

Aiden arriving at the university to pick Sophie up, he went on to fetch Sophie from school, he stood near the car and still thinking of what Vincent had told him.

 

 

VINCENT (Voice Over)

You’re Sophie’s boyfriend … After the incident you were in a coma for almost a year and when you woke up, you couldn’t remember certain things almost like you were rebooted, Andrew being SilverLine’s apprentice took the advantage and made you forget completely about her and everyone around you.

 

Aiden was interrupted by Sophie calling out his name

 

 

Sophie: Aiden!! (skipping happily to the car)

 

He just smiles at her in return

 

Sophie: Wow you’re early

 

Aiden: Of course Miss, shall we get going? (Opens the door for Sophie)

 

When everything was set, they went on to driving home.

Sophie was talking to Aiden but he doesn’t seem to listen. He was really distracted by the encounter he had yesterday.

 

 

Sophie: Aiden watch out!

 

Sophie screamed and Aiden was brought back to reality, a car truck was fast approaching and almost hit them, luckily he turned the car just in time.

 

Sophie: What’s up with you Aiden? You seem distracted?

 

 

Aiden: H-huh? Oh its nothing Miss, I’m sorry.

 

Sophie looks at Aiden worriedly and she kept quiet until they got home.

while inside the house:

 

Aiden and Sophie went in like nothing happened and she was really worried about Aiden, he was unusually quiet, quieter than the usual.

 

 

Sophie: Aiden

 

Aiden: Yes Miss?

 

Sophie: Is there something wrong?

 

 

Aiden: Nothing’s wrong Miss, why’d you ask?

 

 

Sophie: I don’t know you seemed so distracted

 

 

Aiden: I am? I mean (coughs) I’m not Miss. Everything’s alright (Smiles at Sophie)

 

 

Sophie: Okay, if you say so. I’ll go to bed now, Good Night

 

Aiden: Sure, Good Night to you too Miss.

 

 

Sophie went upstairs and glanced one more time before proceeding. When she got upstairs Aiden had his serious face on he was thinking a lot, when he finally gathered his thoughts and went on to research about SilverLine and eventually found everything about him.
