[Sneak Preview / Story Background]

“Erika! I really really like you a lot! Can you please accept me?”

“No! Erika! Please accept me!”

A group of males blocked Erika’s entry to her classroom.

“Seriously, why can’t you guys just let me into the classroom? Grr.” Erika complained in her mind. In reality,
she put on a shy sweet smile and apologized in a gentle and melodic voice to them, “I am sorry. My priority as a student is to study and I think you guys deserve better. The teacher is coming soon, so let’s get ready for class?”

The male students from the different classes gave way for her to gain entry to her class, while thinking about her smile. They then walked slowly back into their respective classrooms.

“Even her rejection is so gentle and so beautiful…”The guys thought.

“Erika, your charm never fails to attract so many guys, right?!” Her good friend chuckled happily at the Erika who was now pretending to be embarrassed.

“Yah, Riko, stop it!” She chided softly, maintaining her image.

Erika Toda was the most popular female student in her level. Known to be sweet and gentle, she was the ideal girl to many male students, seniors and juniors. Her compassionate nature further boosted her popularity with her helping out in many community services. She was also part of the student council which took charge of improving students’ welfare and organizing school events. In all practicality, she should be hated by female students.

However, due to her politeness to everyone and innocent looks, she was spared from jealousy and hatred. She always remained humble and really put in efforts to help other people out. She was also one of the top students for their level. Her dances during the school celebration events also awed many.

“Erika, my perfect goddess!” Riko, who had been Erika’s best friend since young, imitated some of the male students who tried to woo Erika. Despite being wooed by many, Erika had never been in a relationship. Currently, she was in her last year of college.

Both Erika and Riko giggled like young girls as they both knew that Erika was acting to maintain her image. Back at home, in her comfortable zones, Erika was as crazy as any other young lady. She was not as gentle and demure as she was in school.

“Sensei (Teacher) is coming!” someone shouted.

The two young women stopped giggling and turned to face the front.

“Good morning, my dearest class! Today we have a new student! Ninomiya Kazunari, please step in!”

A young man stepped into the classroom. Gasps could be heard.

A bright smile appeared on the young man’s face as he introduced himself, “I am Ninomiya Kazunari. You can just call me Nino! Please take good care of me!” He then waved to the class and bowed.

Almost all the females in the class blushed upon seeing his smile. His bright smile lit up the class and stole the hearts of female students.

The Ninomiya Kazunari was outright handsome. With his pair of dazzling eyes and smile, he too had a certain air of innocence. With his adorable introduction, even some male students in the class wanted to grab him and pinch his cheeks or just talk to him for one whole day.

“Not too bad,” Erika told Riko.

“Yes! But he is not my type.” Riko replied nonchalantly as she turned to observe her other female classmates salivating at the gorgeous young man.

“Alright, Nino. You will be sitting beside Erika. She is our class leader and she will be helping you to integrate into our school. Erika, please raise your hand and stand up so that Nino can recognize you.”

Erika did as she told and Nino walked briskly to the seat beside her.

“This class leader is quite pretty.” Nino thought to himself and smiled sweetly at her.

“Welcome!” Erika said in a cheerful voice and gave another killer sweet smile.

The entire class, including the lecturer, stared at the wonderful sight in front of them.

The gorgeous young man with a glamourous young woman standing side to side, and both had smiles which could make one’s heart beat so much faster.

Riko enjoyed the sight too. “Erika, looks like there is finally someone compatible for you.”
