Yuri's POV
"Yuri!!! Open the door!" She yelled loudly while she attacked my doorbell. Even if I don't open my door, I know it's her. I groggily got up from my couch and went to the door. 

When I opened the door, it revealed a happy, smiling Sooyoung. Even though I was tempted to smile back, I just pretended to be annoyed. 

"Why do you seem so happy?" My heart was fluttering just seeing her smile, it made me so irritated. 

"Nothing~" She said as she pushed her way into my house. By the way, I live by myself. My dad got a job somewhere else, but I wanted to stay with Sooyoung, so my parents eventually agreed as long as Sooyoung was nearby. Sooyoung told her parents the condition so they happily bought her a house next to mine. Now, Sooyoung is just a doorbell away. When she came into my living room, she immediately headed for the couch. 

"Ah! What happened earlier?" I asked as I yawned and sat next to her. I turned to her and I saw that her smile was turned into a frown.

"Ugh!!" She said as she ruffled her hair. 

"Hara again?" I asked knowingly. She nodded and looked at me. "How'd you know?" 

"She's the only one to make you go 'ugh' like that..." I chuckled as I lay my head on one of the couch cushions. 

"I'm just so mad at her!!! When you saw me running earlier, it's because I saw Hara from the roof bullying someone...and when I got there I saw that the person she was bullying was Taeyeon!!! Ugh!!!!" She complained as she screamed into one of my cushions. Even though I got a bit jealous that she mentioned Taeyeon, I sat up and gently patted her back. 

"Well, Is there anything you want me to do?" I asked as I covered my mouth and yawned again. 

"Can you report Hara's bullying for me?" She asked.

"Did you tell Taeyeon that you would?" 

She looked down and nodded. "Yes.." she mumbled.

"What did she say?" I asked suspiciously.

"She said not to...BUT I can't help it!!! I'm tired of Hara's bullying!!" She whined. I can't blame her, she had a tough time in middle school. She put her arms around my waist and started whine against my shirt. 

"Uuuugggghhhhhh~" She whined. I would have been actually annoyed with her whining, but my heart was just pounding too fast. She let go and stood up. I was disappointed in the loss of contact, because she rarely did any skinship with me. She only does it when she's sad or angry at something or more specifically someone.. 

Anyways, she directly went to my kitchen to look into my fridge. I stood up and followed her. "You should buy more food! You're fridge is almost empty..." She said as she took out yogurt.

"Well, who's fault is it that my fridge is empty?" I said accusingly as I crossed my arms and playfully glared at her.

She put her hands up defensively. "Hey don't blame me...you know I eat a lot~" She said while she started to eat the yogurt as she walked back to the living room. 

I rolled my eyes at her. Sometimes I wonder how I started to like her. 

-Flashback-

"Bye, Mom!" I said as I got out her car. I stared at the middle school I was going to attend. I looked back at my mom and I waved goodbye to her. 
Ugh~ My first day of middle school in another school. I hope I do good today. I went to the gate and looked at the school one more time, then I finally went inside.

There were different groups of kids everywhere. In one area, a bunch of pretty popular girls were hanging out, in another, a bunch of athletes were talking and goofing around. They looked like they only hung out with their own kind...I hate that kind of thing...I thought it was going to be different here...(A/N: all-girls school)

As I looked around, I couldn't help but notice a loner under a tree. She was petite and she had glasses that covered her face. This loner didn't look like she would fit anywhere, that's probably why she looks like an outcast now. I was about to walk over to her, but the bell rang and everyone started to come in, including the loner. I sighed and followed everyone else. Since I just moved, I had to go to the Principal's office so they can tell me where I need to go. I knocked on the Principal's door and he told me to come in.

As soon as he saw me he smiled and waved. "You must be the intelligent new student that we've been waiting for, I'm Park Daniel."

I nodded with a weak smile. "My name is Kwon Yuri, Nice to meet you, sir." I said as I bowed. 

"Well, Ms. Kwon, welcome to the school!" He said with a big smile. 
"Thank you, sir....Um where am I supposed to go?" I asked politely.

"Ah! Yes, hold on.....Mr. Choi!" He called, and a man in his late thirties came in.

"Yes, Mr. Park?" Mr. Choi asked politely.

"Can you take her to her class now?" The principal asked. Mr. Choi nodded and gestured for me to follow him. I bowed one last time before leaving the Principal's office. 
Mr. Choi led me to his classroom and told me to wait outside until he calls me in. When he went in, I heard him welcome the class back from summer break and then he told the class that they had a new student and that they should welcome me. When they all agreed, Mr. Choi called me in.
I exhaled a big breath and walked in with nervous smile on my face. I went to the front and turned to them. I did a small friendly wave. 

"Ms. Kwon, please introduce youself..." Mr. Choi said. I noticed some of the girls staring at me with a smile. I just politely smiled back. 

"De...Um...My name is Kwon Yuri...Please take care of me..." I said as I bowed. As I straightened up from my bow, I noticed a girl in the back corner of the room, next to the window. She was the lone girl from outside. 

"Ms. Kwon, go sit next to Ms. Choi..." I turned to the teacher. 

"You have a daughter here?" I asked curiously. 

The teacher lightly chuckled, "Aniyo...Her last name is just my last name...Ms. Choi..." He said. I looked back at the class and I saw the lone girl look up at the front, her big eyes blinking twice. 

"Raise your hand Ms. Choi, so that Ms. Kwon can know who  you are..." She raised her hand shyly in the air. I nodded and started to walk towards the back. When I reached my desk, I held out my hand to her, "Yuri..."
She looked shocked that I actually talked to her. She took my hand and shyly shook it. "S-Sooyoung..." 

"Girls, you guys can interact later...right now we have a class to start..." Mr. Choi said. Sooyoung blushed and turned her head back to the front of the class. 

During class when I subtly glanced her way I saw her staring, when I followed her line of sight, it ended with a pretty girl with blonde hair (isn't it a bit too early to dye hair?) staring at her notebook scribbling stuff in it. 

Mhmm...I guess the lone girl has a crush. 

-Ding Dong- 

A bunch of friendly looking girls went around my desk and smiled at me, asking if I wanted to join them. I looked to my right and noticed the lone girl standing up, and started to walk. 
"Sooyoung!" She stopped and turned around. Her eyes were wide and she seemed confused. The girls around my table looked confused as to why I was calling her name. 

"Y-Yes?" She asked in a soft voice. 

"Can I eat with you?" I asked politely. 

She blinked twice as she looked at the other girls around my desk. "I-I'm-I'm not sure..." 

"Why would you wanna eat lunch with her?" A girl said disgustingly. My forehead creased at the rudeness. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. 

"Why wouldn't want to?" 

"Cause she's obviously the outcast..." She said straightforwardly. 

"So?" I said calmly. 

The girl started to blush, because it seemed like she couldn't come with a reason. "I don't know...cause it wouldn't be good to hang out with an outcast..." 

"I don't care...now if you guys will excuse me..." I stood up and walked up to Sooyoung. I smiled at her. "Please..." I pouted. 
Sooyoung blushed and hesitantly nodded. "A-Alright..." I grinned at her, but she just turned around and started walking.

"Wait!" She stopped and turned around to look at me. "I forgot to get my lunch.." She nodded. 

I went back to my desk and spotted the blondie (Sooyoung's crush) slightly narrowing her eyes at me, and looked down at her notebook with furrowed eyebrows. 

Was she glaring at me?!? If she was, why?!? I shook my head. Was I just imagining that? I sighed. 

"Nana!" A girl walked into class and came bouncing towards the blonde. 

"Hey, Lizzy..." She said with a hint of irritation. 

Lizzy tried to whisper, but I still heard it. "Is it the outcast, again?" She said giving a slightly disgusted look towards Sooyoung, who was looking curiously at me.

Oh, Crap! I forgot...lunch with Sooyoung... I hurriedly walked to her side. "Sorry, I was slightly lost in thought." 

"It's fine." She said shyly. 

We left the classroom and went up to the roof. "Do you always eat up here?" I said as I looked over the edge. 

"Y-Yes..." I looked back at her and saw her standing awkwardly next to the entrance to the roof.
"Do you eat next to the door?" I asked with an amused smile.

She blushed and walked to the center and sat down. I chuckled a little as I sat in front of her. I opened my lunchbox and started to eat. I could feel her staring at me. 

With a smile I said, "I know I look good, but it's rude to stare..." I looked up at her, which caused her to blush and look down at her food. 

"W-Why?" She asked with a small voice. 

"Why what?....Why is it rude to stare?" I asked confused.

"N-Not that..." She said as her cheeks turned a deeper shade of red. 

"Oh, you mean why am I eating with you?"

"N-Not only that...Why are you even talking to me...You saw how they treated me...shouldn't you be avoiding me like everyone else.." She asked as she used her chopsticks to play with her food. 
I slightly smiled, "So what if you're an outcast...I'm not like everyone else...you seemed nice, so I wanted to talk to you..." She looked up and I grinned at her. She blushed and looked down again, but the corners of her lips started to slightly curve upwards. 

We ate in silence for a couple of minutes, but I could feel her staring again. I looked up and looked at her, but she wasn't looking at me, she was looking at...

...my food?

She looked up and stared at me with big eyes. I held back a chuckle as I asked, "Want it?" I only had a piece of hot dog left. She blushed and nodded shyly. 

"Here..." I put the hot dog in her lunch container. She looked at the hot dog and looked at me. 

A grin broke out onto her face as she looked back down at the food. 

Thump

Thump

That's when it started...

-Flashback end- 

After I got to know her more, I couldn't help but love most things about her. Her smile, her laugh, her humbleness, her kindness, and even her big appetite. She's just so am-

"Yah~~~" Sooyoung poked me on the cheek with her index finger, interrupting my thoughts. 

I raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "What?" 

She pouted cutely. "You're ignoring me..."

"No~ I was just daydreaming..." 

"Ooh~ What does the School's President daydream about?" She asked teasingly as she poked my sides. 

I playfully rolled my eyes as lightly shake my head. "Nothing you need to know~" I stuck my tongue out at her as I lay my head on her lap. She scoffed and started to play with my hair. 

Sooyoung's POV 

I sighed. 

It's been a long time since we've been like this. Usually she would be too busy, being the school president, she had to be responsible for a lot of things that involved the school. 
Don't get me wrong...I'm proud of her. It's just I missed spending time alone with her. 

I really hope this whole thing with Taeyeon works out for the both of us, speaking of Taeyeon...

...I wonder what she's up to...

Taeyeon's POV 

"Wow..." I said halfway to my house. I've been thinking of the Hara incident the whole walk, until now...

Now...I was thinking if Sooyoung's past...

She was kind similar to me... It's so unbelievable...

Her life seems like some kind of drama. I giggled as I opened my front door. I scoffed as I stepped into my house. "I sound kind of crazy giggling to myself...." I shook my head and put my backpack down on my couch and plopped down next to it. As soon as I sat down there was a doorbell. I couldn't help but groan and get up from the couch.

As soon as I opened the door, Tiffany jumped on me and hugged me tight.

"Fany-ah~! I-I can't breathe..." It felt nice, but it was just too tight. 

"Hello~" She said grinning when she finally let go. 

I coughed trying to catch my breath as I closed the door. "Hey to you too, how was your day with your dad?" 

She took both my hands and started jumping up and down. 
She smiled my favorite smile where her eyes turn into half moons. "It was amazing!! I love the days my dad lets me skip school!!! Also, I met this girl at the restaurant we went to, she was really really pretty~ " 

I suddenly felt jealousy bubbling up in me. " a girl...what's her name?" I said trying to fake a supporting smile.

She pouted and stopped bouncing. "Actually...I don't know..." She pushed her way through and plopped onto my couch. I sighed and shook my head as the jealousy started to lessen.

"I didn't get to know her name, my dad started to get sick...so we left with me just saying bye to the girl..." She sighed. She turned to me. 

"How was your day?" She asked.

"It was fun..." I said with a sincere smile.

"Fun?....what did you do?" She asked with a tone of curiosity. 

"I decided to skip class today, so I went to the roof..." I said.

"How is that fun?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I saw Sooyoung there, we talked and got closer...then she asked me to have lunch with her and her best friend, then I went back to class." I said nonchalantly.

"Did Sooyoung stay on the roof when you went back to class?" She asked with a tone of...jealousy?

"S-She came with me to class..." I don't know why, but I felt myself blush, maybe I'm blushing because our beloved school idol followed me to class....I shouldn't get ahead of myself.

"The teacher allowed that?" She asked with a more clear tone of jealousy. 

"About that...remember when I told you there was as desk next to me that was always empty?" She nodded. "Well coincidently, she was the student that was supposed to sit there, she just misses the classes cause her fangirls are probably going to harass her during class if she actually went...Hey, did you know that Sooyoung was younger than us?" I asked curiously. 

"She is? No wonder she's a bit childish..." She scoffed. 

"She's waaaay~ more mature than you Fany-ah~" I said teasingly. 

"Whatever...Anything else happened?" I pretended to think of my day, but really I was just contemplating if I should tell her about the Hara incident.

I decided not to tell her, I shook my head. "Oh wait! I went to a smoothie shop with Sooyoung. She paid for me...that was nice of her." I said with a smile. That really was nice of her, she felt bad about the whole Hara incident so she decided to buy me a smoothie, then she explained why she hated bullying, which I'm still think is a bit unbelievable.

"Hello~~~" Fany said snapping her fingers in front of my face, with an irritated look on her face.

"Huh?...oh...sorry, I was a bit distracted..." I said after snapping out of my thoughts.

She rolled her eyes and plopped onto the couch, "She's not that great..." She said with a slight frown on her face. 

I shook my head, and sat next to her. "That's not what everybody else thinks." 

"Whatever...I still don't like her..." She said stubbornly.

"Why not?" I asked with my eyebrows scrunched together. "She bought me a smoothie." 

She looked at me with a raised eyebrow. 

"Well...she didn't buy me one."
