MinJi threw herself to the laminated floor and difficultly kept her breathing evenly. Her body was showered with sweat and the floor was covered with pool of sweats. She wanted to lay down and sleep but she knew their chorographer, JaeWook-Oppa, won’t let her. As their debut date was drawing nearer and nearer, Lee JaeWook become more and more furious that their adrenalin rushed young bodies can’t follow him sometimes.

“MinJi…. He’s here.” EunNa, one of her band mate, nagged her and whispered into her ears. MinJi stole a glance into the wall length mirror, there her eyes met with those powerful attractive eyes reflected in it.

MinJi span her head to that direction with surprise and smiled heartily thus made her eyes cute tiny slit. She wanted to run to him but JaeWook who was standing beside him stopped her.

JaeWook put his hand on SeungHyun’s shoulder. “Why are you come to dance studio? I think this is the most avoided place for you.”

SeungHyun’s face shrieked. “I’m here to see my hobae’s situation. Their debut date is near, right?” But his facial expression was too easy for JaeWook to decipher. 

“Jinja! I thought you were here to flirt with my girls.” He pinched SeungHyun’s chin and SeungHyun shook away from him.

“Wae……. Hyung!” He squealed in protest.

“Ok, don’t try to distract girls. You know this time is important for them. Or I will make sure Yang sajangnim to made dating banned since before debut.” JaeWook warned him with straight face.

“I won’t” SeungHyun denied but his eyes were fixed to mirror and watched Minji’s reflection.

“Hyung…… Can you free MinJi for just an hour? I promised her to treat dinner.” He clung the elder.

“No.” JaeWook turned his request down. SeungHyun showed his puppy face to the dancer.  “I said No!”  But the dancer stand still and firmly denied.

SeungHyun stomped and threw tantrum. MinJi also watched and apologized her dance instructor for a break time. But JaeWook was still ignoring the little girl’s request.

The door of the dance studio swing opened and a tall thin young male’s head ducked into the room.

“SeungHyun.” He called the one who was still clung to the toned dancer.

“Can I have a moment?” He gesture SeungHyun to come out. SeungHyun disapprovingly followed his friend with his head tilted to side and can’t break eye contact form MinJi.

“Girls…. Go back to dance. Break time is over.” JaeWook made the whining girls on the dance floor to practice again.

“What?” SeungHyun asked Yanggeng who looked a little bit nervous.

“I have something to ask you” Yanggeng took a glance back over his shoulder. “Is it true that ChaeRin met Jung JoonYoung?”  SeungHyun can’t understand why Yanggeng would worry that much about that.

“Yes. Why?” SeungHyun waited for Yanggeng to continue. Yanggeng disappointedly hissed and lean against the wall behind him.

“That’s not good.” He paused as he think for how much should he let his friend to know.

“ChaeRin and he are not in good term and I know that guy would hurt her again.” SeungHyun’s wavered mind took time to understand what his friend meant.   

“Wait! You mean ….. that guy is ChaeRin’s ….” He tried to figure out. “Ex??!”

They fell silent for a moment. “I just want you to take care of ChaeRin.” Yanggeng sighed.

“Tell me what happened between them.” SeungHyun shifted closer to Yanggeng and scanned the deserted floor.

“Umm… You know ChaeRin suffered ill before.” SeungHyun’s brows knitted. 

“I don’t know.” That made Yanggeng stunned.

“If ChaeRin didn’t tell you about that then I shouldn’t told you so.” He backed off but SeungHyun won’t let him go that easily.

“Tell me. If you don’t, how can I help her.” Yanggeng held silent and thought for a while. SeungHyun hold his breath and waited quietly, gave time for the younger to think.

“Ok, you know that ChaeRin ran away from home. We met and be friend around at that time. I’m the one who introduced her with Jung JoonYoung. He was doing modeling with Denny. I don’t know how but they fell in relationship and it lasted for more than we expected. But he left ChaeRin at the time she was being ill and admitted to hospital. ChaeRin broke down severely and even refuse to get treatment. We thought she would never become normal again. “ He paused and looked at the one standing beside him with surprise face.

“Then ChaeRin disappeared without telling us for almost three years. We could only hear her news that she moved to Paris to live with her mother before she passed away.” He continued talking.

“I don’t want to see her again as broke as last time I saw her.” SeungHyun his lower lips and thought for a minute after his friend finished talking.

“Then why’d you ask my help. Shouldn’t you go straight and tell JiYoung. He’s the one with her now.” He flip his eyes and looked at the tall man leaning against the wall.

“You know about JiYoung. I don’t know he could handle that kind of situation. He’s full with himself.” Yanggeng sound sour.

JiYoung pulled his Givenchy beanie down to cover his sore eyes. He shifted little and made himself comfort on the couch.

“Ji, stay still. It’s tickle.” ChaeRin soft voice came through the loud music into his ears. JiYoung lifted the hem of his beanie and flicked a wink to his human pillow. Before he can back to close his eyes, his sight caught the one who was sitting opposite to him and examined his face interestingly.

“Wae… Haven’t you seen my face before?” JiYoung scoffed to YaungBae whose hands approached to his face.

“Why’d you come to sleep in studio?” YaungBae asked curiously.

“Because I want to.” JiYoung tried to shoved away his naïve friends hands away from him but YaungBae seemed not give up.

“Then where were you last two days? You disappeared since the show ends. Your mom called me and asked where you were about endlessly. “ YaungBae tilted his face and asked childishly.

“Need to ask! He’s clearly at ChaeRin’s home.” The answer came from Teddy, who was sitting in his regular spot and busy with his sound files.

“Oppa!”

“Hyung!”

JiYoung and ChaeRin protested against him at the same time that made Teddy chuckled.

YaungBae’s eyes widened and he shot a nasty glare to JiYoung who was sleeping  on ChaeRin’s lap.

“What were you doing at her home?” He jumped in beside JiYoung and pulled his beanie to reveal his face.

“WAE?” JiYoung shouted furiously and tried to push him away.

“Your lips were swollen!” YaungBae acted like he’s too pure and saint to know what JiYoung was doing last days.

“It’s because of bee sting.” JiYoung tried to hide his lips swollen and bruised from kissing endlessly to his girl.

“Then why ChaeRin’s lips are?” YaungBae wiggled his brows and shot his confrontation directed to ChaeRin.

“Bee stung her too.” JiYoung’s answer made the whole room burst out laughing.

“A red haired bee, they are deadly poisonous and don’t know what time to stop sting.” Teddy joked.

JiYoung shoot up from couch and pulling ChaeRin’s hands who was also laughing with his two brother and headed to exit.

“Come on baby. It’s better to be back at home and we also need to pack for trip.”

But ChaeRin didn’t bulge and stand still at the spot. “Pack for what?” Her eyebrows knitted.

“For Japan, Babygirl. We need to leave next day. I didn’t want to repeat flaws as in Seoul. I need to get there early and prepare everything to perfect. “ JiYoung’s answer made ChaeRin back off.

“You never asked me?” ChaeRin felt something uneasy going in her heart. JiYoung clicked his tongue and showed his impatient.

“Whatever, You’ll come with me, right? I can’t leave you alone when a crazy jerk is around.”

ChaeRin bit her lower lip and shook her head. She was annoyed with that only self centered JiYoung. Would he always be like that and never try to change?

There is sensible intense in the room, even Teddy and YaungBae were stopped laughing and watching the battle between the two who were standing at the place firmly.

“I have my own life too, JiYoung. I also have business to do. Next time if you want me to come along with you, have to notify me early.” ChaeRin sounded cold but JiYoung didn’t weaver.

“Whatever makes it free for just three or four days. I need to go ahead 2 days ahead and can come back as soon as finish.” JiYoung stood for his ground and his face show visible threatening. Though he said he believes her, he still feel unsafe to leave her behind. Especially those photos he find out before were continue hunting him.

“Sorry, I already made appointments and I can’t cancel.”

JiYoung and ChaeRin were stared into each other’s eyes. JiYoung’s eyes went soften and he batted his lashes. ChaeRin stared at him and she started to feel sorry for her harsh words. She can’t stand to see JiYoung’s puppy eyes.

“Ok, I’ll try. But only under one condition.” She said and shot a glare at JiYoung who beam a wide smile at her.

“Aigoo…. You are so cute. What is the deal?” He hugged her thin waist and smooched her before his brothers.

“Yah! Kwon JiYoung. You dirty our innocent YaungBae’s eyes.” Teddy teasingly threw his towel to the couple and received a tongue stick out from JiYoung.

“Come on hyung. You are jealous of us right? Stepped out from this cave and find a girl and do the same for YaungBae. Or else, he would die as an absolutely dry .” He blinked and shoved ChaeRin to the door. ChaeRin relieved that JiYoung accepted her way.

They walked hands in hands until they bumped into the two men hiding around the corner at car parking.

“Why are you two doing here?” JiYoung asked curiously when he saw the surprising faces of his friends.

“Nah…… Don’t put your nose in others’ business. “SeungHyun draped his hands around Yanggeng’s shoulder and lazily answered younger’s question.

“Can I borrow ChaeRin just for a while?” Yanggeng didn’t wait for JiYoung to reply and dragged the rejecting ChaeRin away from him.

JiYoung tried to follow them but SeungHyun stopped him. JiYoung stomped and threw tantrum to his hyung who just respond with a light laugh.

ChaeRin followed her friend with her min already senses about what he would talk to her.

“Yanggeng-ah.” ChaeRin called him when they reached a distance where JiYoung won’t over heard their conversation for sure.

“It’s not that I hide from you about JoonYoung.” ChaeRin started without her friend needed to confront her.

“I think it went in another way.” Yanggeng sarcastically said.

“I won’t ask about it because I respect your personals. But I’m your friend Chae. All I concern is about you. It’s not a good time that head come back to you.” He said slowly and stare into her eyes. ChaeRin decided to stay quiet and let her friend to continue.

“I heard you admitted to hospital. I don’t want you to suffer like before.” ChaeRin blinked and her arms hugged herself without conscious.

“Did SeungHyun told you about my hospitalization?” she was angry that she never thought SeungHyun would blurb out after he promised that he will seal his lips tightly.

“No…… JoonYoung came to me.”

ChaeRin’s heart flipped.

“How did he know?” She felt nervous and her palms star sweating.

“I don’t know how. But he said he would take you back.” Yanggeng paused and looked at her friend’s face which is now twitching.

“I don’t know how deep you and JiYoung are gone far now. But whatever happened just stay away from JoonYoung. I can’t loose you again. You are my bestie.” Yanggeng said in low voice and hugged ChaeRin. ChaeRin responded with a nod and hugged him back.

*cough*

They snapped back and saw JiYoung awkwardly stood beside them. He crooked his brow to the two who were still holding each other.

“Should we go now Babygirl.” He hit a notice and made the two apart.

Yanggeng smirked at thin man. “You were jealous of me and my friend.” JiYoung only response was wide grin.

“Unbelievable Kwon JIYoung.” Yanggeng scoffed and let his friend took ChaeRin away. ChaeRin silently entered the front seat of the car and stare blankly at the figure of two men leaving behind until they disappear.

“What did Yanggeng talk to you?” JiYoung cut off her thoughts. ChaeRin looked at him for a second and tried to realized what he just talked.

“Nothing.” She shrugged her shoulders coldly and sank back into her thoughts. JiYoung bit his lower lip and studied at her face which show indifference. When their car passing by the streets of Gangnam, ChaeRin snapped awake from her thoughts.

“Ji-ah. I’ll take off here.” She talked suddenly and made JiYoung stepped on break.

“Why? I thought you will come to my place.” JiYoung surprised at her sudden change of plan.

“Can I call you later, Ji? I’ve something to do.” She placed a quick peck on his cheek and get off.

JiYoung sit back with his eyes followed ChaeRin who was half walking and half running on the side walk of Gangnam and entered face nearby. JiYoung sighed as he can’t understand what made her feeling unchanged in that short period.

She  was happy with him  before , until, Yanggeng showed up and talked with her. JiYoung drive off slowly.. He turned around the corner then he noticed from back to mirror that ChaeRin forgot her Rilakkuma JiJi at back seat. JiYoung sighed and pulled over and turned back tosspot where he left her. He didn’t want the girl to become frustrated when she noticed her huggie was gone.

Before he finished parking, he saw ChaeRin came out from café with a guy tagging beside her. JiYoung body tensed and his lips pursed into a thin line as the man beside her is easily remarkable with his tall height and thin figure.

“Why is she lying to me and meet this guy at his back?” JiYoung tightly held the steering wheel that his knuckles turned white.

His heart sink down heavily by the sight they walk away from him. The memory of SeungHyun saw him and ChaeRin making out was flashed before his eyes. “NO, it won’t happen. “ He muttered under his breath. He believed ChaeRin was not that kind of girl, play with him. Despite he was hurt by the thought of him now at SeungHyun’s position before, he still want to have faith in ChaeRin.

JiYoung stay still until they disappear from the view then he flipped his phone and dialed her number. Although he wished it won’t happen, she didn’t answer his call as he expected.

JiYoung punched the dash board with his head hanging low with hurt.
