[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

“Jesse?! Jesse?! Wake up!”

 

Sunny shouted as she shook her unconscious friend’s shoulder abruptly. The blonde boy jolted in surprise after the violent shaking and opened his eyes widely. Recovering himself, he frowned and asked slowly:

 

“Sunny? Wh-what happened? And why were you shaking me so harshly? Aish…”

 

Sunny and Yoong looked to each other, and back to Jesse in concern. However, having a pair of sharp eyes, the short girl asked carefully, barely holding in her sly smirk:

 

“Oh nothing, it’s just that ever since we got in here, you suddenly fainted… by the way, could you tell us… how you got this BIG “hickey”, err, I mean, mark on your neck?”

 

Once Sunny’s words were “digested” by his brain, all the previous happenings crashed back into his mind; Tiffany’s attacks, touches and kisses… wow, and did she know how be y. When Jesse realized what he was thinking, he shook his head violently, hoping that those memories could be shrugged off, which was impossible. However, when he looked back to his friends, he tried to dodge her questions. Still, however, the blushes on his cheeks were too vivid to attempt to hide any feelings that he felt. Looking ‘casual’, he simply replied:

 

“Errr, nothing actually… T-Tiffany-shi j-just came here t-to propose a deal a-and we ta-talked… T-that’s all…”

 

“Really?” Sunny pressed on as her eyebrows rose automatically even as Jesse nodded hurriedly. It was pretty obvious that her friend was really nervous, yet her doubts were quickly answered when she noted something ‘different’ in Jesse’s pants. Unable to keep serious anymore, she asked with a growing and teasing smile on her lips:

 

“Hmm… funny… because I could swear that your pants are telling me otherwise…”

 

Instantaneously, Jesse looked down to his pants and noted a distinct ‘difference’. He was shocked and flushed, and at the same time…

 

“PFTTTTTTTTT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACE, HYUNG! IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!”

 

Yoong burst out in laughter to see his hyung totally embarrassed and red as a tomato. Sunny laughed in victory while holding her stomach. Watching an embarrassed Jesse was just too funny. The latter cursed out loud and scolded them harshly:

 

“Arghh cr@p! Shut up you two! It was an accident, okay?! Geez! It was that girl’s fault!”

 

He said nervously while he tried to find a way to hide his ‘problem’. Sunny kept laughing and replied teasingly:

 

“Yeah, yeah, BIG accident hahahaha!” “Arghh, SunKyu!”

 

Jesse warned them while his dumb friends kept making fun of him. Not even his cold glare was able to make them stop their laughter. However, when they ceased, Sunny gave a friendly tap on the blonde’s shoulder and spoke cheerfully:

 

“Oh come on, Jess. You know we are kidding okay? Don’t be mad, we promised that we won’t do it again. Right, Yoong?”

 

The dongseang nodded while removing an imaginary tear of his eyes and replied back honestly:

 

“Yup, but hyung, can you tell us what… really happened between you and Tiffany noona?”

 

At his question, Jesse exploded and snapped back; still in shock and rather flushed:

 

“What happened?! What happened?! Well, I will tell you what happened! T-that girl almost harassed me ually!”

 

“What?! Tiffany did… THAT?!” Sunny asked in surprise with her eyes widened. Jesse sighed deeply, took a seat and uttered his reply slowly:

 

“This is what really happened…”

 

…

 

“WOW!? ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT THE K-POP PRINCESS FELL FOR YOU?! HYUNG, YOU ARE SO LUCKY! So… that means I can win my Juhyun’s heart too!”

 

Yoong said happily as he smiled widely and clapped his hands. Yet, the other SJY members were still pretty shocked with Jesse’s story. Plus, who would ever imagine that the most spoiled and wanted celebrity would fall for Jesse, a rookie?! However, the blonde boy was also surprised when his friends told him what happened with Tae and SeoHyun while Jesse was inside the room with Tiffany…

{FLASHBACK - NORMAL P.O.V.}

 

The quartet found their way to the waiting room while their comrades attended the “reunion” on the other side of the door. Being over ecstatic and excited due the fact that their favorite singers were so close to them, it was really an incredible opportunity indeed. However, even if they had rehearsed this moment a million of times in their minds, right now, not even a word passed through their heads. Yoong and Sunny looked towards each other while nibbling their lips in nervousness and uneasiness. They even gulped when Tae and SeoHyun took a seat across from them.

 

Minutes passed and neither of them started a conversation. A long sigh escaped from their lips, so they just decided to “go with the flow”. Pouting unconsciously, Yoong grabbed his phone from his back pocket and started to play some random game; don’t blame him, he was afraid that Seohyun would catch him staring her in awe and consider him as some sort of a creepy stalker. This certainly wouldn’t the right impression of him. Nonetheless, while he was casually playing his game, he heard a soft gasp. Once he looked up, he was amazed to see his love interest staring at him with a, oh, so cute and surprised expression, as her eyes were widened and formed an “O” shape.

 

He frowned in confusion when he looked towards the spot where Seohyun was looking at, which was his phone’s pendant. The TTS’s maknae practically ‘jumped’ towards the seat on his side of the room while pointing to the item and asking, still in awe:

 

“I-Is this yours?!” Raising a brow, Yoong nodded and replied softly: “Yeah… why?”

 

At his answer, Seohyun’s eyes shone in realization, yet she suddenly realized that she was acting oddly in front of the poor boy, so she quickly recovered her composure. Much calmer, she quickly placed her hands on her lap and spoke shyly again:

 

“D-do you like… Keroro? D-don’t you think … it’s a little childish?”

 

Yoong placed his finger on his chin while making a ‘thinking’ pose and looked up. She stared at him intently as she waited for his answer. He opened with his charismatic “crocodile” smirk as he spoke sincerely:

 

“Nah, at first people used to tell me that I was being childish for liking those things… but I don’t care anymore. What really matters is what I think… and I think Keroro rocks!”

 

“Really?!” Her eyes twinkled in response as an awestruck look crept onto her face. Yoong nodded with a comforting smile; he even chuckled when the maknae smiled coyly at him, genuinely surprised with his answer. They kept staring each other for a while and soon, a smile crept onto their faces and their cheeks started to slowly blush. After a brief silence, Yoong spoke coyly:

 

“D-do you wanna watch the new episode… with me?” “S-Sure! Er… if this is all right with you…”

 

Seohyun fidgeted her fingers shyly once she realized her outburst. Yoong found the scene completely adorable as he kept smiling lovingly at her. Afterwards, he removed his earphones from his pocket, plunged one earpiece into his ear and with the another, he gingerly placed it in hers. They sat really close to each other as they watched the ‘cartoon’. All of sudden, SeoHyun burst out in laughter at a scene like a naïve child. Meanwhile, although Yoong’s eyes were far from the display, they were glued to the shy girl beside him. A smile formed on his lips whenever she smiled or burst out in laughter and he swore… that it was the most beautiful and sweetest thing that he has ever seen. He watched her secretly with an admiring smile in his face and loud heartbeats emanating from his chest…

Sunny decided to watch the street scene by the large window as she sighed heavily. Her birthday will be in a couple days and she couldn’t help but feel kinda sad. The main reason was because her parents were always busy with their company business and her close friends were only Yoong and Jesse. Honestly, with such a tight schedule, she probably thinks that she will pass another birthday alone. This incident almost came to pass if not for her friends who were there for her; they even tried baking a cake for her, which they failed miserably. In the end, they passed her birthday eating burgers at a fast food restaurant. Yet, it was the cutest memory she had of them.

 

Back to the present, she was about to sigh again when she noted a presence beside her. Thinking that it was Yoong, she turned around… only to gasp in surprise when a blonde guy stared at her worriedly. Her eyes widened to see him up-close, and boy… he was way too cute with his face so close to hers. All of sudden, the words stuck in as he frowned in concern and asked carefully:

 

“Is everything all right, my beautiful lady?”

 

She couldn’t help but chuckle at his remark and this made him smile along in relief. Shaking her head, Sunny replied almost ‘casually’ since, inside her mind, she was spazzing with her love interest’s concern:

 

“I – I am all right... Thanks for a-ask, T-Tae-ssi…”

 

“Didn’t I tell you to just call me Tae? You are allowed to; besides, I am too young for ssi!”

 

*Heartily chuckles* Sunny placed her hand on her lips due Taeyeon’s cute frown and pout. He even crossed his arms like a grumpy kid. However, a wide smile crept onto his lips as he spoke sincerely:

“You look much more beautiful smiling than frowning sadly… You should smile often…”

 

Sunny’s mouth dropped in surprise, she couldn’t imagine that the TTS’s leader would give her this comforting words. Her heart pounded madly when he looked at her intently, he meant every single word. She even “melted” at his remarks; yet, seeing that she wasn’t answering, he scratched his left cheek coyly while dipping his head low:

 

“Errr… I didn’t want to look like a freak. Sorry if this kinda s-sounded wrong… i-its j-just y-you look really pretty smiling a-and… aish I am so stupid…”

 

Again, he was interrupted by her warm laughter and this made him forget his nervousness as he smiled caringly in return. Sunny’s heart was “exploding” with joy whilst witnessing this most adorable scene of Taeyeon stammering shyly around her; she’s won the “jackpot” for sure. Afterwards, once their laughter had subsided, she looked back towards the window and replied softly:

 

“Don’t worry. I don’t think you are stupid. Actually… it was the most adorable thing that I have ever heard… I am j-just worried… that’s all”

 

“May I know why?” He uttered, feeling relieved as she spoke: “My birthday will be in a couple days and well… my parents are always far from home and with such a tight schedule, I think I might pass my birthday alone… that’s all right… I guess…”

 

“What?! Wait, birthday?! Omo, what didn’t you tell me this before?” Taeyeon spoke loudly. Placing his hand on his chest, he tapped it as he made a promise:

 

“This kid here won’t ever forget you… cough I mean, your birthday hehehe”

 

He chuckled nervously as invisible sweat started to drench his forehead. Unable to resist this display of cuteness, Sunny dared herself to go further and reached for his hand, which was on top of his chest. She enveloped it with her warm palms and spoke sincerely, with a caring smile on her face:

 

“I really thankful for your concern. You are the cutest guy that I have ever met, Tae…”

 

Taeyeon felt his heart hammering like mad when he felt the warmth coming from her hands. They held a meaningful stare as a broad smile crept onto their lips. He nodded his head, yet didn’t let go of her hand. The moment was too good, yet they were obligated to remove their hands from their grasp once their managers opened the door and stared at them suspiciously. Taeyeon and Seohyun nodded their heads faintly while walking towards Yuri. However, they looked around and smiled warmly at Sunny and Yoong. The latter duo was on the cloud nine with the whole situation and could only wave dumbly as they left. Wow, this was an experience that they won’t ever forget…

 

{END FLASHBACK}

 

 

[JESSE P.O.V]

 

I was amazed with their story, it seems like I wasn’t the only one affected by TTS. We should be careful with them, but I feel that they are good people, mostly Tae and SeoHyun… Yet, Tiffany… I wonder what she really intends, I can’t still trust her for now. All of sudden, the door was loudly barged open by an anxious hyung as he spoke to me quickly:

 

“So… how did it go, Jesse?! What they did propose?!”

 

After a long sigh, I stood up from the couch and talked, feeling calmer:

 

“Well… Tiffany-shi told me that she wasn’t mad and won’t make any trouble for us…”

 

“Whoa, that’s good news! Great job, Jesse! What else?”

 

Soo hyung breathed out in relief as he took a seat on the white couch casually. Nonetheless, I bit my lower lip remembering her earlier proposal… After taking a deep breath, I started:

 

“But… she made an offer in return…” “Really? I am surprised… And what was her offer?”

 

Sooyoung asked genuinely surprised while drinking some water. I then felt a sudden shiver while recalling her touches and everything. My heart beat doubled in pace and there was a huge lump in my throat. It was then I glanced towards my friends and there they were staring at me hopefully. I knew I couldn’t mess up this time; they were counting on me and we all have a dream to fulfill. Taking a deep breath, I uttered slowly:

 

“She asked me… to be… her husband on the ‘We got married’ show.”

 

“WHAT?! SHE REALLY MEAN IT?!” Soo hyung coughed out the water that he had just drunk and stared at me with his wide eyes. He stood up rapidly and pressed on, still shocked:

 

“Are you telling me that the K-pop princess, the most wanted girl in the whole of Korea… wants you as her husband on ‘We got married’?!”

 

“Um…Yes?” I nodded slowly in reply. Soo hyung next surprised me as he pulled me in for a tight hug and ruffled my hair friendly:

 

“Arghh, I don’t know what you did to make her ask this, but this is fair enough for me. Ha I thought that she was kidding… So, what will be our next step? I guess you did not give her your answer, am I right?”

 

There was a sudden silence between us as I was pondering my thoughts. Everyone was staring at me intently and then, I finally made my decision. Sighing heavily, I replied tiredly:

 

“Soo hyung… call Yuri-noona…”

[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

Tiffany was happily thinking on her bed while staring the ceiling. Her mind brought up all the previous events to the present. All she could think ever since she came back … was the mysterious Jesse. She couldn’t help, but to want more, to know him more… Everything about him made her heart flutter: his naivety, his warm body, his nice smells and of course, his pair of puzzled and tender eyes. Her smile widened and her face blushed when she remembered the moment she kissed his neck… so smooth:

 

“Arghh… he is so cute! And smells so nice…”

 

She missed him already, honestly. It was her first time feeling something like this and it was wonderful. Unable to contain her anxiety, she sat on her bed and called her manager quickly:

 

“Unnie?”

 

“No, Fany-ah. For the millionth time, their manager still did not call me. I promise I will tell you as soon I get the answer okay?”

 

A tired Yuri answered back as Tiffany pouted and lay on her bed again. Her manager has been answering this same question ever since they got back to their dormitory and it was night already. Yet, the ginger-haired singer was really worried whether her dear mysterious blonde would accept her invitation. However, when she was lost in her thoughts, her manager’s phone suddenly rang; Tiffany stood up in one fluid motion as she approached Yuri. The latter answered the call and replied in surprise:

 

“Oh, yes… good evening, Choi… so… what do you want to tell me?”

 

Tiffany was nibbling the tip of her thumb nervously as she only got wind of some of her manager’s words. Yet, all of sudden, Yuri hung up and turned around with a serious expression. Seeing this, the ginger-haired girl felt worried as she asked with a frown:

 

“U-unnie… w-what happened?! It was SJY’s manager, right?! Tell me, please!”

 

Still serious, Yuri replied casually without looking at Tiffany’s eyes:

 

“Yes… Choi called me and he told me what Jesse said…”

 

“A-and?” She carefully asked while approaching her manager. The latter remained quiet, when, all of sudden, she answered happily:

 

“And he said… YES!”

 

“W-WHAT?! REALLY?! KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~~ JESSIE WILL BE MY HUBBIE! JESSIE WILL BE MY HUBBIE! KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~~ I AM SO HAPPY!”

 

“Yeah, I can see that…” Yuri chuckled at the hyper mode of her singer and shook her head as she returned to the other room. Tiffany’s comrades quickly heard the ruckus and it wasn’t a big surprise to see their friend so happy with the news. They knew how much she waited for this answer and honestly, Jesse did not seem to be a bad person. They only hope that he can help her and take good care of her.

 

Back to the hyper girl, Tiffany was happily jumping on her bed when her phone rang all of a sudden. When she saw the caller’s number, she froze immediately and gulped. Nibbling her lower lip, she stopped her hyper mode and got seated on her bed as she pressed the ‘Answer’ button:

 

“Hello?”

 

“You didn’t answer my calls today… what happened, babe?”

 

Tiffany gulped at Wooyoung’s serious tone; she could feel that he wasn’t happy at all. Trying to make him calmer, she spoke with a soft tone, hoping to control the situation:

 

“Oh, nothing, honey… it’s just I was really busy with Yuri unnie, you know how those meetings are, really boring and all…”

 

“Meeting? With who, hon?”

 

“Errr *nervous chuckles* nothing important, just SM’s personnel f-for some business. You shouldn’t worry too much, oppa…”

 

“Hmm… if you say so… anyway… I am having some free time… how about we go to the theatre? Its dark, cozy and we can be alone without anyone bothering us…”

 

“B-but now, oppa?” Tiffany asked nervously. All of sudden, she noticed a sudden change in his tone as his voice turned more venom-filled:

 

“What? Can’t I even see my girl anymore?! Unless you have other plans…”

 

Tiffany then tried to speak calmly: “No, oppa. It isn’t like that…”

 

“Is that so? Let’s meet each other in one hour at the Central Theatre. I’ll be waiting for you. Bye, babe…”

 

“But, oppa---“

 

Tiffany sighed heavily since her so called ‘boyfriend/fling’ had already hung up. She stared at the phone for a long while. It seems she doesn’t have a choice. It will be a long date…

The couple was leaving the theatre with their hands intertwined as they walked to the park. Wooyoung realized that Tiffany was extremely quiet during the whole session; even when he tried to make out with her, she would try to decline his advances. He wondered what happened with his girl. Clearing his throat, he squeezed her hand and spoke slowly:

 

“Hey babe, what happened? Y-you seems distant ever since we saw each other…”

 

“What?! Of course not, oppa. I-it’s just I was thinking about my previous meeting… no big deal…”

 

Tiffany lied and laughed nervously at his serious stare. He raised a brow and asked:

 

“Really? Hmm… to be honest… you didn’t tell me what happened … in this meeting… something that I should know?”

 

His tone was deadly serious as they stopped walking. He waited for her answer as Tiffany gulped hard, trying not to stammer as she replied ‘calmly’:

 

“You know those meetings… Just SM’s staff and managers. It was just a boring reunion…”

 

“I see…well, it isn’t like you are cheating on me… I will believe you… plus… if you are lying… you know that I will find out sooner or later…”

 

A loud gulp emitted from Tiffany’s throat as she looked towards Wooyoung uneasily. After a brief silence, Wooyoung laughed and replied casually:

 

“I know you won’t do it. Plus… you are mine… all mine…”

 

Tiffany laughed along with him, yet was kinda worried with his remark. Still, to put an end to this delicate discussion subject, she planted a kiss on his lips and spoke nonchalantly:

 

“Oppa, you don’t have to be jealous… come on… I – I am hungry, let’s go…”

 

Wooyoung seemed to believe her, but part of him was really suspicious with her recent behavior. However, he let this one slip as he placed his arm around her waist as they kept walking. Meanwhile, Tiffany sighed in relief in her mind since she was successful in misleading him. Part of her was regretful, yet she couldn’t help but feel worried due his possessiveness. Something tells her that this won’t be the last act of jealousy from Wooyoung. Unconsciously, her mind brought up the previous incident with Jesse and this was enough to make her heartbeat double in pace as she caressed her lip unknowingly. Hiding her smile, she closed her eyes, remembering the moment as a blush crept up to her cheeks…

 

“Oh Jesse… if you only know what you are doing to me…”

 

[JESSE P.O.V]

 

Choi’s Dormitory – 6:30 PM

 

“So, did you guys like it?”

 

Soo hyung asked us as we walked inside the fancy apartment. I won’t lie to you, I never been in a place like this; sure, it wasn’t anything luxurious, but it was awesome indeed. Yet, I couldn’t help but feel confused; before I could answer, though, Yoong came from the apartment’s kitchen with a large smile, speaking with an excited tone:

 

“Omona! This place is even bigger than my house!”

 

Sooyoung chuckled at Yoong’s child-like reaction and answered with a smile:

 

“Good, because this will be your dormitory from now on.”

 

“What?! W-what do you mean… our dormitory, hyung?!”

 

I blurted out in surprise due his sentence; Sunny came up behind me, equally surprised, as she asked with widened eyes:

 

“Yeah, oppa! Why do we need a dormitory? Don’t we already have our homes?”

 

He shook his head and smiled at our outburst, it was almost as if he anticipated this. He next motioned us to sit as he grabbed our contracts and placed them in our hands. We stared at him quizzically as he spoke casually:

 

“Why don’t you look in the marked page, hmm?”

 

We frowned in confusion as Yoong read the content loudly:

 

“Paragraph 8: All the members will stay in the agency’s dormitory when the schedule become full. This will avert non-required publicity and bring more safety for the members.”

 

“But… what is this suppose to mean, hyung?”

 

Yoong asked doubtfully as me and Sunny nodded in agreement. Soo then looked at us and shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, getting ready to explain as he stood up:

 

“Remember when I told you about the paragraph that stated that all of you should hide your identity?”

 

“Yeah, but we still cannot understand.” Sunny replied slowly as he started:

 

“You see, all those paragraphs were made to protect your identity. Have you ever thought what would happen if after a long schedule, someone followed you to your homes? That’s why we need to be extra cautious with paparazzi and the press, right?”

 

It was then something clicked. I must admit, he was right, I didn’t think about this. If someone discovered our true identity, you can say goodbye to our privacy. Nonetheless, he got seated again, stared deeply at us and spoke honestly:

 

“I know you guys are worried, but don’t be afraid, you will have be here only during your schedules. Plus, don’t be concerned about your family, you guys are free to tell them the truth; yet you must be sure that they will be very discreet. Did I make myself clear?”

We nodded in agreement, feeling our mood becoming much lighter with his answer. It’s a good thing I can tell the truth to my family now. He then gave the last warning to us:

 

“So this means that you can all act normally when you guys aren’t working. Oh, and I talked with your uncle, Jesse. He gladly said that you can go help him in his shop during your free time. I didn’t want to mess with your current life, plus, don’t worry, he looked very delighted with some freebies that I gave to him, haha.”

 

I couldn’t help laughing along; good thing hyung helped me or else uncle would have placed me in slave labor. Yikes! I shivered at the thought. However, hyung seemed calmer now as he ruffled our hair playfully and spoke:

 

“One last thing, keep your mobile lines free, I’ll get in touch with you all as soon we get our next job. Oh, by the way, do you guys know the ‘Star Golden Bell’ show?”

 

“Yeah” We answered in unison with our eyebrows raised. He then smirked slyly and tapped our shoulders adding:

 

“Good, because your next appearance will be there.” “WHAT?!”

 

We replied in shock with our eyes widened. So, Soo hyung grabbed our shoulders and answered cheerfully:

 

“Relax kids, if you guys do what you guys did on your first appearance. I am sure that it will be a success… plus… TaeTiSeo will be there too…”

 

“Wow, I am coming for sure, oppa!” Sunny happily replied, jumping like a crazy bunny.

 

“Me too, hyung. I can’t wait to see Juhy… err, I mean, to present ourselves again!”

 

Geez, am I the only one who was freaking nervous?! Tiffany is going to be there?! Oh God, am I going to be abused again?

 

“Humph… as if you didn’t enjoy it, Jesse…” Shut up, brain!

 

Err, me and my stupid brain. Great, I was agape and hyung finally dropped the bomb:

 

“It will be nice to see you two together soon since we will inform the public of your commitment with Tiffany on ‘We got married’. Isn’t it great?!”

 

“Yeah… super great…” I added slowly, I think this is my martyr’s test… I guess I couldn’t be more shocked, the news is already frightening. Aish, why did I agree with that stupid contract? Because you wanna save your friends’ careers? Okay, okay… it seems I am already in a dead-end without any means of escape. I slumped my shoulders to forward and pouted. Soo hyung then grabbed my shoulders and laughed heartily at my reaction:

 

“Chill out, Jesse. Something tells me that you and Tiffany will get along, much more than we imagined.”

 

“Err… thanks, hyung” I couldn’t help but add hopelessly. Suddenly, another thing caught my attention; our so-called manager was checking his appearance every single minute as he checked his breath. When I looked to my side, it seems that Sunny and Yoong also got the same idea so I asked:

 

“Hey, hyung. Where are you going like this? I thought you would go back to your home?”

 

“Oh err… I – I” Wow, he seems nervous, hmm, something is fishy here. We raised our eyebrows as Sunny pressed on:

 

“Oppa?” “Okay, okay, I will meet Yur—I mean, Kwon! We have a meeting arranged for Jesse’s contract and yours too, ok? Oh, look the time! I guess I – I am leaving… wish me luck… bye!”

 

“Wait, hyu--- wow, I never saw hyung like this. Something tells me that this won’t be just a business meeting.”

 

Yoong remarked while rubbing his chin and narrowing his eyes towards the fugitive manager; I agree with him. Once we looked at ourselves, a sly smile crept onto our lips as Sunny said:

 

“I guess someone has a big crush on TTS’s manager… hahaha this is so funny!”

 

“Yeah! He should have seen his face!” Yoong added loudly and we ended up laughing. The situation was funny indeed. Yet, I couldn’t help but think about my future. Honestly, I don’t know if I had made the right choice… for now, only time will tell…

 

[NORMAL P.O.V]

 

After a tight schedule, the awaited day has finally come. SJY had a tough week with all invitations and such; yet, it was only small appearances in some variety shows or they were responsible for some show’s opening, of course. Yes, they had success in their debut, this was absolutely right; but like any normal group, they needed to work hard to reach the top and conquer their fans’ hearts.

 

Their manager, Choi made sure to coughexplorecough and motivate them to work hard to reach their success. Honestly, his strategy was working since every time that SJY made an appearance, more invitations would come. Back to the present, SJY was invited by the ‘Star Golden Bell’s production team and there they were, two boys and a girl in a production studio filled with many artists. They were shocked at first as soon as they got there, since this time it wasn’t just another presentation in which they would leave immediately after performing, but it was their first appearance in a TV show as guest. What a big responsibility…

 

The audience was waiting in awe as the cameramen got ready to start the shooting. With the given signal, the host directed himself to face the first camera as he spoke while smiling:

 

“Star Golden Bell will now start! I am Ji Suk Jin! Our show will rock tonight! Let’s check out our illustrious guests!”

 

SJY was seated in a vertical row in this formation: Sunny (front), Jesse (middle) and Yoong (back). The trio was pretty nervous as they fidgeted their ‘uniforms’ shyly. However, to their happiness (or despair, in Jesse’s case), their ‘neighbors’ were no one else but the charismatic trio… TaeTiSeo. Jesse widened his eyes and gasped in shock to see a very familiar ginger- haired singer seating right by his side. The TTS formation was almost the same: Tae (front), Tiffany (middle) and SeoHyun (back). With that, other groups got seated on their rows as the host started the presentation:

 

“And here are our special guests! A round of applause to the winner of the album of the year… TAETISEO!”

 

The audience goes wild in return as TTS waved to their public happily. Sunny and Yoong had no objections since their love interests were seated at their side; they greeted them immediately. Tae smiled like a byun as always, yet his smile was more caring than erted as he stared at Sunny longingly. The blonde girl couldn’t help but chuckle at his awestruck face as he couldn’t take his eyes away from her; so she looked to her side and returned the warm smile; this was enough to make Tae’s heart pound madly. At the maknaes’ side of the “row”, Yoong grinned coyly at SeoHyun who returned the same gesture. He mouthed a “Hi’ and when she replied, he felt his world spinning when she smiled tenderly at him. This was good enough to make his face flushed as he looked to his side. He was unable to see that SeoHyun herself was feeling the same; she even fanned herself.

 

However, our “cat and mouse” couple was the most curious one. Tiffany couldn’t stop staring at Jesse for even a second, yet she couldn’t help noticing when the blonde boy adjusted his collar in an attempt to hide the faint ‘love mark’ on his neck. The ginger-haired girl couldn’t help smiling, yet feeling flushed herself, when Jesse glared at her with his flushed face. He even looked to the opposite side due his nervousness and shyness. Tiffany smiled proudly to herself when she saw the faint mark still there because that was a sign which meant that the “territory” was just hers and only hers.

 

Back to the presentation, once the applause had ceased, the host continued:

 

“Another round of applause to our guests: KARA, 2PM and the Choi Agency’s new group… SJY!”

 

The audience clapped their hands at the first two groups, but when the cameras and lights were focused on SJY, the public was curious with the new group. However, after a brief moment of silence, they gave another big round of applause to the rookie group; what a relief. Nonetheless, if being worried about a erted celebrity wasn’t enough, Jesse bit his inner cheek when he saw the other row beside Tiffany which belonged to 2PM. It wasn’t a big discovery that Wooyoung was right at her side, putting her in the middle of the two boys.

 

When Jesse and Wooyoung’s eyes found each other, a sudden flame of anger shone in their eyes. The tension filled the air between them instantaneously; Tiffany even gulped as she eyed the two boys with some kind of concern, yet amusement. If it was possible, “cold beams” were being shot out due to Jesse’s extra cold glare to Wooyoung, who only returned it the same way. On the blonde’s side, he was mad of course since he dislikes Wooyoung. As the latter, well, let’s just say that he doesn’t like the idea of his ‘girl’ flirting or fangirling with another guy, much more a talentless rookie.

 

The angry duo only snapped back to reality when the host’s voice caught their attention. It was when the TV show finally started as several questions were directed to each celebrity. Meanwhile, Jesse tried to look to the other side most part of time since he didn’t want to look at Wooyoung’s despicable face. However, the last part wasn’t that important; what was really making him crazy and uncomfortable was the fact that he did feel eyes on him all the freaking time! Whenever he glanced to his side, there was Tiffany staring him longingly with a blush on her cheeks, a warm glow in her eyes and an endearing smile on her face. And to his surprise, a girl of the KARA’s group couldn’t help to steal some glances of him, she even smiled for him for God’s sake. That action didn’t pass unseen by the ginger haired singer, which caused a frown and glare of our beautiful Tiffany’s face…

 

If deal with a blunt singer was enough, Jesse felt himself on the crossfire and had to look down the entire show. However, back to Tiffany, if he wasn’t so mad about her earlier ‘attack’, he would ALMOST fall into her charms, but not today. Yet, Jesse’s heart jolted in surprise when he felt a sneaky hand on top of his. Once he glanced to his side briefly, there was a warm hand caressing his. He gawked in shock due her boldness, not even caring about her boyfriend in the next row. Part of him was reminding him that this was a mistake and he should stop her advances; yet, another part of him was saying that their hands were meant to be and her warmth was much too tender to bear.

 

He nibbled his lower lip, unsure about what to do; however once he looked up, Tiffany was eye-smiling him sincerely as she was secretly thanking him for not removing her hand. So, sneakily again, she removed her hand from his and placed it on her lap. Good thing no one saw her bold move; still, both of them were already missing the warmth provided by the other’s hand. They stood in silence during the entire TV show, but the shy glances and Tiffany’s secret smiles were simply impossible to miss. Even Wooyoung realized that his supposed ‘girlfriend’ was REALLY excited and glowing beside Jesse. The black haired guy could only grit his teeth in anger. If stares would kill, Jesse would be dead for sure in Wooyoung’s mind.

 

Once the show was about to end, Jesse and Tiffany snapped back to reality with the host’s sudden announcement:

 

“And that is all for today. Oh, before we end the show, we have hot news for you!”

 

The audience whispered and waved in curiosity due the host upcoming remark. The latter smiled widely while holding a golden envelope and focused on the camera. Afterwards, he finally spoke:

 

“As you all know, the next season of the ‘We got married’ show will be aired the next week. We were informed that this season will be more real and different from the others. Plus, our producers have already informed us of the chosen couple for the show and it will be…”

 

The audience and even the guests held their breaths in silence. Once the host had opened the envelope and grabbed a card within, his eyes widened in surprise as he gasped with a wide smile. Looking towards the camera again, he spoke with a charged and excited tone:

 

“The couple of the next ‘We got married’ show will be… TaeTiSeo’s main vocalist, Tiffany and, posing as her husband… SJY’s leader… JESSE!”

“WHAT?!”

 

That was the word which was uttered in unison throughout the entire studio. The audience waved and clapped their hands with a pleasant surprise. Meanwhile, the ginger-haired girl was on cloud nine as she smiled heartily. Even her comrades smiled and shook their heads at her excitement. However, a few persons on stage weren’t so happy with the news. Wooyoung’s eyes were burning with fury as he glared at Jesse very angrily; curling his hands into tight fists, he whispered harshly to no one in particular:

 

“You will regret the day you dared to flirt with my girl… scumbag…”
