Kai had always been the loser of Genie High, he had been called names like, nerd, geek and meaner things you would never want someone calling you. He had no friends, everyone distanced themselves from him. Hanging out with him meant one thing, social suicide. 

Kai had this birthmark he could never decipher. It had extravagant features, it was oddly shaped exactly like a triangle, it was ‘decorated’ with a wind like circle in the middle of the triangle.

Being a boy, he could only pass off his birthmark as one thing. Cool.

His parents got enough of the bullying and finally decided to move to Seoul, enrolling him in a different school.

After moving, his birthday was nearing, he noticed that his parents were quite on edge about his birthday… specifically his 18^th birthday.

Entering his new school, Seoul High, he felt at ease no one knew him. Lost in his thought, Kai bumped into Im Sora.
