The next morning there was a dark haired young girl trying to wake up Jessica, who was sleeping on a couch inside that hospital room.

 

“Jess, Jessica.. Jessica!” Finally exclaimed that girl

“Hey..” said Jessica waking up smiling “How are you?”

Immediately she hugged the girl that woke her up and was sitting on the bed.

“You know that I’ve been better” Replied the girl naturally. You could see in her eyes that she missed the older girl.

“Krystal, I know that I have been a terrible sister.. but I’m so happy to see you..”

The blonde couldn’t help but hug her even more.

“There must be many rumors about your come back” Krystal said a little worried.

“Yes, but none of them mention you”

“And it’s exactly what mom wants”

“What I want, honey” said a woman suddenly entering to the room “Is that Jessica sleep in her own bed, and wearing her pajamas”

“Good morning, mom” greeted the blonde “I wanted to ask to the doctor if I can take Krystal to eat breakfast. Do you want to come with us?”

 

The youngest among the three smiled when she hear that.

“Uhm, no” she replied “I think I will buy her something and I will bring it here”

Without saying something more the woman left the room. But Jessica wasn’t going to let the things like that, so she stand up, she was decided to face her mother.

 

“Jessica, don’t do it” begged Krystal, but her sister didn’t listen to her.

 Jessica left the room and stopped her mother.

“Let me guess, you told everyone that Krystal was visiting our grandfather in another city” said the blonde folding her arms.

“Actually, visiting your aunt… in another country”

“So you really are hiding her?” Jessica raised her voice “She tried to kill herself and you just care about everyone thinking that you are not the Mother Of The Year?!”

“Jessica, you left” her mother interrupted her “To do who knows what and God knows with who”

“I already told you, I went to a boarding school, it’s nothing from a different world”

Her mother looked at her seriously and disapprobation, like she used to do.

“You know what? I’m happy that you are back, but you don’t know how this has been for us”

Everything looks like it’s impossible that mother and daughter can understand each other.

 

Another Monday, another day of school. Like always, Sooyoung  was with her sister Yoona trying to no be late.

“I realized that last night you were reading Gossip Girl’s blog” Yoona said laughing while she walked “I didn’t expect that from you”

“You are wrong, I have better things to do than that” said the taller girl without giving too much attention to Yoona

“You did it and plus, you read everything about Jessica Jung” said the younger girl raising her eyebrows many times. She liked to make her sister feel nervous.

“Hey, what’s that?” Sooyoung said taking some papers that her sister was holding and, of course, trying to change the subject.

“These are invitations for Tiffany Hwang’s party for this Saturday”

The younger girl was clearly excited about it.

“And they invited you to that?” Sooyoung replied surprised “How did you get it? I mean, not everyone is invited”

“A girl, a friend of Tiffany, saw my calligraphy and she told me that if I wrote and delivered the invitations I could take one” Yoona said proud of herself.

 

Since the girl started going to the university she just wanted to be part of the most popular social circle. She was doing it step by step.

“Wow, no one never invite me” Sooyoung thought, even though she didn’t really care about it, but she liked to know that Yoona was joining to the circle of people that she really wanted to be part of, she knew really well about the admiration that her sister had for Tiffany Hwang.

 

As usual in a day of school, Kwon Yuri made her way to the ‘Palace’ before she went to school.  When she was the building she thought that she could meet Jessica, she calculated the chances and she noticed that it was favorable, because maybe the blonde girl was in her room and wouldn’t go out until she had something to do, like going to school.

The tanned girl decided just to follow her routine of waiting for Taeyeon to go with her to their university. Taeyeon’s father was the owner of this hotel and the Kim family lived there.

 

“Yuri?” she heard a familiar voice behind her, it was Jessica, who just arrived because she spent her night in the Medical Center.

“Hi!” Yuri said a little surprised. She was happy but at the same time she didn’t know what to do “Uhm.. your mother told me that you are staying in The Palace”

“Yes” the blonde said a little nervous, she looked uncomfortable “She wanted to renovate our house, again. You know her, her motto is ‘if is not broken, then break it’. That’s why we are staying here”

Yuri laugh and for some seconds they looked at each other eyes. “I missed you so much” was in the mind of the tall girl.

“So.. what are you doing here?” Jessica asked breaking the silence.

“Oh, that..” Yuri moved her head, coming back to the reality “I just wanted to know if you are fine. Yesterday I noticed that you were awkward in Tiffany’s house”

“I have to go” Jessica said immediately “I still have to get ready to go to school, I will be late..”

The blonde girl started to walk feeling even more uncomfortable” She wasn’t ready to talk about what was happening with Yuri.

“Jessica” said the taller girl trying to stop her.

“No,no” Jessica turned around and looked at her “No, Yuri.”

“But you are back now!” Yuri exclaimed referring to something that they had.

“I didn’t come back for you!” Jessica assured her.

Yuri was frozen because of those words, her sight darkened.

“Listen, Tiffany is my best friend and she is your girlfriend.. she loves you. That’s how everything is supposed to be”

And saying that, the blonde walked to the doors of the hotel leaving Yuri with a painful feeling inside of her.

 

In just a few minutes Taeyeon walked out of the hotel and the two of them leave to go to school.

“Jessica looked really y yesterday” said the short girl to Yuri “but there is something weird in that level of perfection. It needs to be violated”

“You are crazy” Yuri replied without giving too much importance to it, she knew that her friend had that attitude.

“And even like that you know that I’m right. So tell me, if you had the chance to be with her, you..”

“I have a girlfriend” Yuri interrupted her knowing what she was about to said.

“You have been dating Tiffany for years and you two still don’t seal the deal!”

“Who the hell says ‘seal the deal’” Yuri said mocking her.

Taeyeon laughed too while thinking “Whatever Yuri, I know more things that you think”.

 

A few hours later, in Ttara University.

“They are so cute, they should be framed!” said one of the girls that were seeing the invitations made by Yoona.

“They are not bad” Tiffany added smiling “And here is yours, like I promised”

“Thank you” Yoona replied like if it was an honor.

That was when Jessica walked to them, she just arrived.

“Oh, here you are” She told to Tiffany “I was looking for you everywhere”

The blonde noticed that there was a new face.

“Hi, I’m Jessica” she friendly greeted Yoona.

“I know” she replied with excitement “I mean.. hi, I’m Yoona”

“Hi” Jessica said again with a smile, she thought that the girls behavior was adorable.

Tiffany rolled her eyes showing that all of this was just ridiculous.

“So..” Jessica continued taking one of the invitations “When is the party?”

Tiffany’s minions looked at each other. Jessica noticed that there was something weird because suddenly there was a silence.

“Saturday” Tiffany replied with a fake smile, Jessica knew that expression “But you are not really invited”

Jessica was speechless. “Talk, Fany” she thought challenging her in her mind.

“Twelve hours ago everyone thought that you were in a boarding school” her ‘best friend’ explained “Now all spots are full and besides, Yoona already made all the invitations”

The younger girl was feeling uncomfortable with the weird stare that Tiffany was giving her.

“But if you want I can..”

“You can leave now” Tiffany interrupted her, still looking calm. But clearly there was a threat behind those words.

Yoona didn’t say anything and she left slowly, but not without giving a smile to the blonde girl, who smiled too, again.

She looked at Tiffany again, like expecting some answers.

“I’m sorry” she said lifting her shoulders.

“No, it’s okay” Jessica replied doing the same “I have a lot of things to do anyway”

The blonde couldn’t help but let the invitation fall to the floor.

“Well, we have to leave” Tiffany said standing up from where her and her two friends where sitting. One of them took the paper that was on the floor.

When the queen bee, Tiffany, started to walk away, Jessica called her raising her voice.

“Hey, do you think that we can meet tonight?”

Tiffany smiled and turned around.

“I would love to” she said with a fake smile “but I have plans with Yuri”

The blonde girl felt unconformable with that declaration, but it didn’t take her much to reply.

“I will see you in the Palace at 8:00pm” she said directly, but Tiffany just raised her eyebrow, so she continued “Come on, Yuri can wait, can’t she?”

“Maybe I can stay for one hour” Tiffany said looking directly to Jessica.

“Thank you for making time for me” the blonde replied honestly.

“You are my best friend…” Tiffany talked with the same honesty but yet her words sounded ironic.

 

Krystal was reading a magazine while listening to her iPod. She looked outside, it’s been a long time since she walked the streets of the city and her entertainment became reading and watch tv. Sometimes she just wanted to sleep and forget, her dreams always were better than her life.

Then she felt when the door opened and she stopped reading. Jessica throws her some clothes while she was going inside her room.

“I talked to the nurse and I’m going to kidnap you” she said while turning off the music “So wear this”

“Where are we going?” Krystal asked a little confused.

“To the mall, just for one hour” Jessica said, she knew that her younger sister didn’t wanted to give trouble to their mother. “I promise, it’s just that I had a bad day”

“Really? I had a great day” Krystal said with sarcasm “Some pills, some psychological tests and green jelly for lunch..”

“Why didn’t you kept some jelly for me?” Jessica said laughing and she helped her sister to go out of the bed “Quick, little girl.  We have to go before mom arrives”

 

Sooyoung read once again the text that her sister sent to her: ‘Emergency, I need your help, I will see you at Hhvia’. For what she knows that place was a store of clothes. When she arrived she saw Yoona looking herself infront of a mirror, she was wearing a beautiful red dress.

“What happened?” Sooyoung asked walking to her.

Yoona looked down, feeling shy.

“Do I look nice?”

Sooyoung looked at her from head to toes, and then she realized their situation.

“Wait, this is what you were needing me? I thought it was an emergency, God!”

“A fashion emergency!” Yoona explained “I wasn’t invited to important events before”

“Me neither, big deal” The taller girl said a little upset.

“Yes, but mom is not here and dad is allergic to fashion, so that’s why I called you”

Sooyoung sighed and looked at her sister again. She smiled.

“Well, you look good, Yoona.” But she noticed that the younger girl didn’t feel satisfied “I’m serious, it looks nice on you”

“Thank you” She finally replied “It’s a shame that it cost more than our rental. But I think I can make something similar”

They were lucky that Yoona knew a lot about fashion and design, a lot. It was her passion, to be honest.

Suddenly Yoona looked to somewhere else. Her eyes were shinning.

“I can’t believe it.. it’s Jessica Jung”

The blonde just arrived to the store with Krystal.

“Hi Jessica!” Yoona greeted her really nervous.

“Hi!” She greeted her too. “Ehm, Yoona, right?”

“Yes, hi” the younger girl was excited because the blonde girl remembered her name.

“Well” the blonde looked at her sister “She is my..”

“Stylist and personal shopper”  Krystal interrupted smiling “My name is Krystal”

“Hi” Yoona said and turned to look for somebody “She is my sister..”

She kept silence because Sooyoung just disappeared, but the truth is that she was hiding behind some dresses acting like she was choosing one.

“Uhm, that’s your dress for Tiffany’s party?” Jessica asked changing the subject; she noticed that Yoona was embarrassed.

“Something like that..” the young girl said “Talking about that, here”

The brown haired girl took out a paper from her bag and it had the name of the blonde on it. It was an invitation for her. “I did it in my break hour, but if someone asks you where you got it, I don’t know anything”

Jessica looked at Yoona for a few seconds while a smile appeared on her face.

“Thank you” she said softly and took the gift.

Yoona decided to leave and let the older girl to keep doing her shop, but a smile of excitement was on her face. She felt that she was doing everything right.

When the blonde was already a few meters away, she decided to turn around.

“Yoona” Jessica called the younger girl “I think that that dress would look better in black”

“Black.. great, thank you” Yoona replied trying to no show so much interest.

Jessica, smiling, kept looking at her for a few seconds while she was walking. Then, when she stopped looked at her, Yoona was still looking at her. All that just made that the younger girl smiled to herself. She could notice that Jessica was way friendlier than Tiffany, and she was not going to regret to give her that invitation”

 

The same day, Yuri was still with Taeyeon, they were walking around in a park of the city. They were on their way to come café, but they weren’t in a hurry. Both of them stole everyone’s stares, Taeyeon stand out for her elegance and lust; she even had a scarf for every day of winter. Gossip Girl noticed this. The brown haired girl was charming at everything she did, even when she walked. Yuri wasn’t different; the only reason why she didn’t had many love confessions was because she was the untouchable girlfriend of Tiffany Hwang. And no one wanted to be in bad terms with her.

 

“This is good” Taeyeon said while she smoked. According to her, that helped her to relax.

“Really? Maybe I need it” Yuri joked while some things were in her head. “You know.. Tiffany’s mom is out of the city”

“Come on, Yuri. Finally you are going to sleep with your girlfriend but you make it look like you are going to be executed, I don’t understand.”

“No, I’m fine” The tall girl assured her.

“Talk to me” said the shorter girl “You two have been dating since long time ago and suddenly you two have problems? That’s weird..”

“There is not a problem” Yuri interrupted.

Taeyeon laughed and then there was a silence, she just kept smoking.

“It’s just that..” Yuri said suddenly and talking with a little of worry “Haven’t you feel like our lives have been completely planned for us? That, I don’t know, we are going to end up being like our parents?”

“Hey, that’s a really dark thought” Taeyeon said without caring too much.

“Don’t you feel like we have the right to make our own decisions to be happy?” Yuri continued.

“Look, calm down Miss Philosophy.” Taeyeon stopped walking and Yuri did the same “We have the right to get a huge fortune that we are going to inherit. Houses, cars, trips, we can get it. But happiness is not part of that menu, okay? Just smoke a little of this, relax your mind and seal the deal with Tiffany, because you also have the right to have with her”

The shorter gave a cigarette to Yuri and she smoked of it. Taeyeon smiled.

 

Later, in the bar inside of the Palace, two friends met to talk after not seeing each other for a year. Tiffany kept her promised of attending to meet Jessica.

“So.. how is your mom with the divorce?” the blonde asked seriously.

Tiffany, who was drinking, left her cup on the table before she replied.

“Great” she said nodding.

Jessica smiled when she heard that like saying ‘really?’

“My dad left her for a man. She lost six kg and she fixed her eyelids” She added before she drinks again. “Yeah, it was good for her”

The blonde totally changed her expression; it was surprising to hear that.

“I’m really sorry…”

“Yes, I noticed” Tiffany smiled again sarcastically “I could notice, because you didn’t call me and didn’t even write me an e-mail during all this time”

“Yes, I know” Jessica said “It’s just that a boarding school is..”

“At first place” Tiffany interrupted her “I don’t even know why did you went to a boarding school”

Jessica didn’t say anything and just looked at her friend.

“Do you know how it was to call to your house when you didn’t attend to school and then your mom told me ‘oh, Jessica didn’t tell you that.. she moved to another city’?”

“I had to leave..” Jessica tried to explain “I needed to stay away from everything”

Tiffany raised an eyebrow, doubting.

“Please, just trust me”

Tiffany just made an expression showing that she was uncomfortable.

“How can I trust you when I feel like I don’t even know you?”

“Let’s change that” Jessica took Tiffany’s hand “When I saw you in school with the other girls, I understood. I don’t want to take your place, Tiffany, i..”

“What makes you think that you can take it even if you want it” Tiffany asked in a rude tone.

“No, I didn’t mean that..” Jessica felt like she was attacking her.

Silence. Tiffany was expecting her to say something.

“I miss you..” Jessica finally said, Tiffany looked away. “And I want everything to be like it used to. You know, go to school together, do our crazy dances in my house, go on vacation with you..”

Tiffany looked at her again, but she wasn’t still convinced.

“You were like a sister to me”  Jessica said again “Like family.. and we need each other”

Their eye contact lasted for a few seconds and a lot of things were going around Tiffany’s mind. “You have always been my best friend, Jessica..”  She couldn’t explain how much she missed her too. In some way, a little smile formed on her face.

“Well.. you missed the typical crisis of Cecily Hwang” she said on a happier tone “If it wasn’t about a tragedy it would have been really funny to you to watch her like that… actually, it was.. a little bit”

Jessica laughed when she noticed the comic sense and she looked happy that Tiffany was talking to her like she used to do.

“And I wish I was there..” she said sincerely, referring to the support that she wanted to give to her best friend.

“You are now”

Both of them smiled, then Tiffany looked at clock, it was late.

“I have to go to meet Yuri. We have something planned... something special”

Both of them stand up and Tiffany bowed.

“I don’t want to stop you but.. “ Jessica walked closer and hugged her tightly. The black haired girl was surprised, but when her chin touched the blonde’s shoulder, she just closed her eyes and decided to enjoy it.

“I love you, T.” said the blonde softly.

When the hug ended, Tiffany looked at her eyes before replying.

“I love you too, J.”

 And with that, Tiffany left and Jessica felt like everything was like it was supposed to be.

 

[They were seen in the hotel Palace, J and T had a honest talk. ¿What happened, Jessica? Maybe you persuaded Tiffany for now, but we still believe that you are hiding something]

 

A few minutes after Tiffany left, the beautiful Taeyeon went to the bar and smiled playfully when she saw Jessica all alone sitting there. She sits next to her.

“I love this city” she said softly while looking at her.

When Jessica noticed her she looked really upset, and really uncomfortable.

“What are you doing here?”

“I like it when you treat me coldly” Taeyeon said in a y tone.

“You simply like it when a girl talks to you..”

“In fact” said the shorter girl “I like them more when they don’t talk”

“Whatever” Jessica kept drinking “I must admit that I missed your jokes”

“Yeah, let’s catch up” Taeyeon replied with excitement “You know, let’s undress, we look at each other..”

“What about something to eat? I’ve been drinking without eating something” The blonde said without caring about what Taeyeon said. She was already overwhelmed.

“Whatever you want” Taeyeon said smiling “Let’s go to the kitchen..”

Jessica left her seat feeling upset; and she was already a little drunk. The brown haired girl was about to take her arm but the blonde stopped her.

“I’m going just because I’m hungry” She assured her. “Let’s go”

 

When Yuri entered to her girlfriend’s room, it was illuminated by candles. On a chair, there was Tiffany sitting wearing just a y babydoll.

“Hi..” she said getting up from her seat, she looked nervous.

“Tiffany..” said the tall girl really surprised.

“Is it too much?” her girlfriend asked talking about the candles “I want it to be special…”

The shorter girl walked closer and kissed Yuri softly. However, the tall girl was tense. She didn’t hesitate to stop after that small kiss.

“What’s going on?” Tiffany asked, she was worried.

Yuri looked at her; she was decided to make everything clear.

“Well.. I don’t know how to say it.. or if I’m doing the right thing, but..”

Tiffany kept her face, which didn’t let her concentrate.

“I need to tell you something” She finally said.

 

“Thank you, Teddy” Taeyeon said to the chef. “Don’t forget that today we are going to close the kitchen earlier” Then she walked closer to Jessica who as eating Chinese food.

“This is really good” she said happily.

“Well, if you are thinking of thanking me I have some ideas..” Taeyeon  said naughtily.

“It’s just food, don’t exaggerate” Jessica said laughing.

The short girl walked closer and put her hand on Jessica’s leg and started to breath near her neck.

“No, no, no,” Jessica said making her go away.

“Does it worry you that Yuri may know?”

Jessica, who was laughing because she thought that everything was ridiculous, suddenly changed her expression to a serious one and she looked scared.

“W-what?”

“A year ago..” Taeyeon said making her remember “In the Park’s wedding”.

Jessica didn’t have words.

“Do you think that I don’t know why you left?” Taeyeon said with a defiant tone.

Images started to come back to the blonde girl’s mind.

 

They were in an empty lounge of the luxurious building where the Park’s where celebrating their wedding, it a family that is friends with Jessica and Yuri’s families.

Both girls were already drunk and Jessica was walking on a long table and couldn’t even balance properly, Yuri was sitting in a chair and she looked at the blonde while she had fun.

“Get down from there” She asked while laughing “I don’t want you to fall and get hurt”

“No, let me” the blonde said while she drank from a bottle of champagne.

“Give me some” Yuri got up and tried to drink from the bottle but Jessica didn’t let her.

Yuri took the blonde girl who almost fell but she dropped champagne at the same time on them.

“Look at what you did” Jessica said, sat in front of her and pushed her  while acting like she was angry.

“I’m sorry” Yuri laughed at that moment “Come here”. The tall girl brought the other blonde girl’s body close to her making her sit on her lap.

“Look, you are soaked” Jessica said with her lips really close to Yuri’s.

“You too..”

 

At that moment, Yuri  was telling all of that to her girlfriend.

Tiffany couldn’t believe what she was hearing. The tall girl looked at her with sadness in her eyes.

“But that was all, right?” her girlfriend said trying to hold her tears “You two just kissed”

Tiffany affirmed that because she didn’t know if she would be strong to hear something different. Yuri’s silence destroyed her. It wasn't just a kiss. She started to cry.

 

Jessica was kissing Yuri hard while she had her hands tangled with her hair. Yuri just let herself go and her hands traveled for the blonde girl’s back. It was a really strong desire; it looked like they couldn’t have enough from each other. Then Yuri got up and made Jessica sit on the table again. Both of them started to undress while they kept kissing. Without knowing that in a short distance, Taeyeon was watching them with an evil smile on her face.

 

“The girlfriend of your best friend..” Taeyeon said talking to Jessica in the kitchen of the hotel “That’s a classic, Jessica”

The blonde looked at her feeling blame. It affected her a lot to remember that. Taeyeon was killing her with her eyes.

“I think you are similar to me more than you think” Taeyeon said laughing.

“No..” Jessica said softly “No, that’s in the past. Now I’m changing..”

“Really? Well, I liked you better in the past then” Taeyeon talked with a playful tone.

Then she tried to kiss Jessica but she moved her face, making Taeyeon’s face go to her neck.

“Taeyeon, stop!” Jessica exclaimed while trying to escape from her lips and hands.

 

“I knew it!" Tiffany yelled at Yuri with tears in her eyes. “I always knew that there was something between you two!”

Yuri tried to calm her and she wanted to hug her, but the shorter girl pushed her violently.

“Get out!”

Yuri sighed. Even if it hurts to see Tiffany like that, she knew that she did the right thing by saying the truth. She said what Tiffany said and she left.

 

“Taeyeon, no!  Leave me!” She screamed before she slapped the short girl.

She stopped immediately when the blonde hit her and Jessica took that chance to escape.

 

Sooyoung entered to the Palace with the hope to see Jessica. Or maybe she did it because she didn’t have something better to do. The point was that her sister Yoona told her that the girl of her dreams was living in that hotel and she simply couldn’t resist to go. She was in the bar admiring how beautiful it was when she felt that someone pushed her. It was a girl and she dropped her purse because of that.

“I’m sorry, are you okay?” Sooyoung asked when she helped her to get her things; she looked at her face and froze. It was Jessica.

The blonde didn’t say anything and she hurried to take her things so she could leave fast.

However, she forgot her cellphone. Sooyoung took it but she didn’t have the guts to follow her. Jessica didn’t look like she was on a good mood.

 

[And just when Tiffany and Jessica build a bridge.. everything came down. But dry your eyes, Tiffany. The party of this Saturday it’s coming. And do you know who loves parties? Gossip Girl]
