Hyomin sat on the couch staring at her parents in disbelief as they repeated the news once more. She was to go on a date with a guy she never met? Had moving from one county to another fried their brains? She wanted to help her father but he had often told her mother about Jongin when he thought Hyomin wasn't listening. He never stayed with one woman more that two days. Hyomin was expected to be another victim for this guy? She would pretend to go along but the first moment she could she'd call Daehyun to come to her rescue. Hyomin smiles shyly looking at her lap thinking of Daehyun's bright smiling face. The two faces watching her sudden change in attitude taking it as her acceptance of the idea.

"He'll be heading over in a few mintues"

"Ye?"

"Go get changed"

Hyomin looks down at her clothes, "What's wrong with my clothes?"

"Jeans and a t shirt are okay for the Busan boy but not for Kim Jongin"

"Dad, come on! You know it's rude to talk about Daehyun ah like that", Hyomin says in english.

"Nichole go get dressed in one of the nice outfits your mother bought you"

Hyomin pouts stomping up to her room knowing her father was upset since he never used her english name or english in general unless he was truly angry. She hated how her father called Daehyun the Busan boy. It was never fair that he remembered other guys names but Daehyun was always the Busan boy. She knew she would have to dress up hoping that if she just pretended that all the effort was for Daehyun maybe she could make it. Hyomin knew better if she did that she'd be disappointed seeing the ert or whatever fancy insult her father liked using on him. She never quite understood the korean words her father threw around.

"Nichole!"

Hyomin sighs changing into a pink sundress she loved wearing since Daehyun always had such nice things to say about her in it. She threw on some heels she saw on the floor of her closet not caring if they matched. This guy clearly never actually paid attention to what the women around him wore as her father said he probably only care how fast he can get a woman's clothes off.

"Nichole!"

Hyomin rushes down the stairs, "Appa I'm done"

"The car is approaching!"

Hyomin watched her father eager to greet his boss, eager to hand his one and only innocent daughter over to a complete stranger for the sake of his job. She didn't want her father to lose his job but she also didn't feel like being Jongin's pet. It was granted that she never met this Jongin and only heard stories. She still didn't like what she had heard. The expensive car rolls up in front of the Choi house with Hyomin's mother helping her give the proper greeting against her will. Hyomin tries her best to sneak a peek at the player, ert who was suppose to be her boyfriend for an undisclosed amount of time. He didn't look anything like Daehyun which most likely was her father's intention.

"Annyeong--"

"Where is she?", Mr. Kim demands.

"This is my daughter Choi Hyomin"

"I thought you said she was born in the States"

"Her english name is Nichole, sir"

"Alright, Nichole can you drive?"

Hyomin nods.

"Good, do you have a license?"

Hyomin shakes her head.

"Jongin...You can call him Kai, Nichole", Mr. Kim explains, "Why not go to that park over there?"

Hyomin's eyes widen at the mention of going in public with the arrogant Jongin. All through out the men discussing the two teenagers fate he was leaning against the car wearing sunglasses staring off into space. She was certain he would destory any reputation she had by crushing it with his own. Hyomin was not thrilled about having a date with a man known for having a thousand.

"Hyomin ah"

Hyomin slowly nods moving to stand near Jongin. He raises an eyebrow looking at her not taking off his sunglasses. Jongin smirks walking ahead leaving Hyomin to do her best to keep up with him.
