L.Joe’s POV:

After calling Niel, Chunji had fallen asleep in the taxi, his head leaning against the window.

I, on the other hand, was wide awake and thought of my own life story.

Why did I leave to go to America?

I was inspired by our school trip to America in middle school.

Being only twelve, I was more than happy to take on any opportunities given to me.

But before I left, I made a promise to myself- I was going to come back as a more confident and smart guy.

I had a crush, on one person.

For a long time.

A very long time.

And i still do crush on them.

As they meant a lot to me.

I came back for two things-

-to prove that I had become a more confident person

and

-to share my career and interests with my long time crush

However, when I came back to Korea, it seemed like my long-time crush had moved on- later on graduating their final year early.

I also auditioned to be a part of TEEN TOP, with the idea that I would be able to find them.

I still look around, hoping to bump into my crush.

I miss you.

But for now, I’m going to put on a brave face – for the sake of my best friend Lee Chan Hee.

Why?

Because I felt that he needed me right now, more than ever.

We had almost arrived at my place, which I felt was best, as I knew I had refreshments (food and drink) to cater for both, a tired Chanhee and Byunghun.

I felt Chanhee stir next to me, as our taxi turned into my street.

CHUNJI’S POV:

I opened my eyes to hear Byunghun mumbling.

“Bogoshipeo Nah-onn.”

Na-on?

Naeun?

He knows A-PINKS Son Naeun?

I would be happy for him if it was true!

I fell that he’s helped me heaps- but he needs his own love as well!

The taxi abruptly stopped, right in front of Byunghun’s apartment.

“Kamsahmnida, driver-here,” Byunghun said, handing over the money.

“That’s okay, have a good day!”

“We will, you too! Thanks once again.”

The driver smiled, as he helped up get our luggage from the back.

Luckily they weren’t too heavy.

We got to his apartment, when Byunghun entered his code (2708).

I’ve always wondered why it was that- but I had never bothered to ask why.

Putting the thought out of my head, I remembered that we had a plan.

Well it’s pretty much only Byunghun’s plan and not mine.

So um yeah.

I’m just following him.

Putting my bags down, I took a seat on the couch, as Byunghun entered the kitchen.

A few moments later he was back- holding a tray containing:

-fruit salad

-milk

-cheese and biscuits

We both dug in, feeling a bit ravenous myself.

Demolishing the entire tray quickly, I looked at my phone for the time- 1.00am.

Hearing Byunghun clear his throat, I looked up.

“It’s time to put our plan into action, Lee Chanhee.”
