Before I knew it, the concert was already coming to a close. We were already on our sixth act, the last one before our encore.

Oh gosh. Not this song. 

Gee was never my favorite song and I made sure to express that as many times as I could. 

I never liked doing cute concepts and forcing out my aegyo. And on top of that, the dance is way too complicated. 

It's really hard drawing the "G." I don't know, maybe it's just me. 

Let's just get this over with.

The music started playing and I tried to put on the cutest pout ever. Ew ew ew.

What was that? Oh my god. Tiffany. 

I burst out laughing in embarassment.

HEHEHE. Don't laugh Taeyeon. You can get through this.

HAHAHA. NO. Stop thinking about it. Focus. 

 OH YE YE YEAH! 

Finally,  the song was over. 

Damn it, Tiffany. Why are you making things so difficult for me? I just want to give my best performance to my SONEs and you're not helping. Hing.

I took a quick glance at Tiffany and I could see her sheepishly smiling at her success.

I walked over to the right side of the stage to grab a bottle of water.

Whew! I'm exhausted. I hope our SONEs aren't disappointed in me for laughing mid-song every now and then.

As I grabbed a couple more bottles to hand to my members, the lights turned off. 

I tried to look around but I couldn't see anything. Not even my members, nor any SONEs, not even any staff members. It was pitch black. 

I felt so alone. I knew my members, our SONEs, and even the staff members were there but I couldn't help but feel empty and lonely. 

I put the water bottles back down and tried to find my place back on stage when I saw a glimpse of light coming from the corner of my eye.

Overwhelmed with emotion, I started tearing up as I saw my members approaching me with a huge cake.

It didn't help when I noticed our SONEs, turning their lightsticks back on, forming a beautiful pink hue, and singing along wholeheartedly. 

All this for me. Hing, I love you all, every single one of you. 

I couldn't help but tear up even more after thinking about how much effort everyone must've put in to do this, just for me.

Why are you so emotional? Gosh, Taeyeon, stop crying. You're TWENTY FIVE. 

Just then, Tiffany came up and wiped away my tears for me.

"I'm okay, heh I'm okay," I chuckled in embarassment. 

As I made my way to blow out the candles, I noticed the members taking little bites from the cake already.

"Wait~" I whined.

They all stopped and stared and started to giggle, waiting for me to hurry up so they can continue eating.

"Hoooooo!" I blew out the candles and within seconds, I was thrown off guard by an incoming object.

"Stopppp," I whispered as I tried my best to avoid Tiffany's hand. 

"Aw.." She slightly frowned as she failed to wipe cream onto my nose.

Hehe. Ppani-ah, I'm sorry. If I let you touch me again, even slightly, I might not be able to resist anymore. And that means you'll win. I don't want that. Not today. 

I took a moment to gather my thoughts and tried to express my gratitude as sincerely as I possibly could. 

After I finished my short speech, I let out a contented sigh and realized that I still had a concert to take care of.

The music started playing and it took me a while to comprehend it, but at that moment, I felt so loved.
