As your eyes fluttered open, you saw the soft hands of someone. Who’s hands are these…? Looking around, your eyes met ones that were tired but still full of care and motherly love. “Oh. You’re awake?” he whispered. You nodded whilst trying to remove the towel from your head.
“Oh, no can do, missy. The doctor told me to keep this on you; your fever is still up,” he teased. You pouted. “Let me go Himchan. How did I end up back in my room… last time I remember…” you started, ending up trembling in fear. You held yourself, trying to calm your breathing. Luckily, you didn’t end up in a convulsing mess like last time.
Himchan looked at you, worried. “Jieun…?”
You assured him that you were okay. You stumbled out of bed and into Himchan’s arms. “You don’t seem okay…” he muttered, cautious and careful not to hurt you. He helped you sit back down on the bed. “I think you should rest today. You have a really traumatic encounter…”
“No, I’m okay. Really… just a little shaken up,” you assured. He seemed skeptical but he wanted to comply with your wishes, thus let you go.
