→ Sunny's Writing Tips
Description
I've been in AFF for a total of 9 months and counting, and I've read a lot of fanfictions before I started my own, both about K-Pop and other fandoms. In my first time here in AFF, I was introduced to the most amazingly written fanfictions and awesome authors. But the longer I spent my time here, the longer I saw a lot of flaws in AFF stories. A lot of Mary Sues were in the making or already made, a lot of cliche stories were featured, and the grammar — please don't let me start.
I am here to elaborate those flaws and try to give you, the reader, tips and tricks in making your story better, if not perfect. I myself am not perfect, so I'm sorry if I sound judgemental and harsh. I'll try to tone it down. Just remember, these are just suggestions and tips, if you don't like them, then it's alright. If you like them, all the better.
My past tips will also be poster here, but I'll be improving them, adding more tips and tricks. I'll try to update everyday, and I'll be adding a new feature. In every lesson, I'll give you guys 'homework' example, if I talk about characters, I will assign you guys to try make a character that is now flawless and perfect.
You guys can also request in the comments section on which would you like me to tackle on. I'm more knowledgeable in confronting the parts of the story (like characterization, foreword and description, etc.) but you guys can request anything related to fanfiction or stories in general. You may even ask me opinions about something.
