You and Kai sat down at your doorsteps and started chatting away from boredom. You asked him the question you often end up asking anyone you meet for the first time, "So do you like SHINee?" Kai turned to face you and went all, "Who?" You couldn't believe he just said that. Whenever you ask someone if they like SHINee, they say they do and when they dont.......................

"Bwoyo? Michyeosseo? How the hell can you not know SHINee? You freaking douchebag! You don't deserve to live!!!!" you screamed your lungs out. Kai shut his ears and squeezed his eyes trying to avoid your piercing scream. "Cool down, girl! I know them, okay? I was just kidding. Yes, I like their music. Plus, I think their choreography is jinjja daebak!!!" he said. Your fangirl feels exploded! This happened everytime you met another Shawol. "Jeongmal? Eeeeeeeppp. I love them too!" you exclaimed and clapped your hands in excitement.  err...okay! O_o You threw your arms in the air and went to hug him, your newly dicovered Shawol, BUT you snapped out of your fangirl mode and realised that it hadn't been even half a day since you guys got to know each other. You controlled your 'omg-he/she-is-a-shawol-therefore-my-family' emotions and cleared your throat awkwardly. Kai hadn't noticed all this and casually asked, "Who's your bias?". "TAEMIN!!!" you replied instantly. Kai's 'irking skills' came back again. He thought for a moment and said, "How much do you love Taemin?" You loved it when people asked you questions based on your biases. "I love him to death! He's my ultimate bias and you know what? I'm planning to kidnap him." Kai was amused at your sillyness. "Woah! What exactly are you going to do after you kidnap him? If you know what I mean?" he asked, raising one eyebrow and poking your arm with his elbow. You got the hint. "Kai, stop it, okay?" "What? I'm just asking a plain question." He was right and yes, you did have 'plans' with Taemin. After all, you didn't daydream about him throughout the day for nothing! Moreover, NO SOOYEON was your best friend. So you got the point! Your fangirl feels  were coming back and about to hit you hard. You face turned red of embarrassment. "Well, I'm going to marry him," you said firmly, trying hard not to let him know that that was not even one-tenth of what you had planned! You had 'much more' in your mind! No Sooyeon, you're doing it right :P Kai was a bit disappointed by your answer since he expected you to go crazy and blast off about all your Taemin feels!!! But he continued, "You know what? A lot of girls in my old school told me that I look like Taemin. So just in case you don't get him, you can always feel free to propose me!" and started laughing and rolling like a buffalo. You were like, "In your dreams!" -_-

Kai came back with another one, "Dreaming about you? Hmm that would be pretty good!" 
 

You didn't know even he would turn out to be such a ert. Then he asked, "But really, don't you think I look like Taemin?" You gave him your ' please' look. His eyes were in a straight stare, trying to read your mind. In an attempt to beat him, you stared back. That's when you noticed he had beautiful eyes, and he DID have 'sausage lips'!

OMO!!!!! You shut your eyes and shook your head. *NO! No, Jamie....NO!!! He is not even 10% of what Taemin looks like. You love Taemin, no one else!* you reminded yourself.

Kai decided to stop teasing you anymore so he asked you about school and all that you did in school. He was pretty decent throughout. You two talked about music, anime, and FOOD!!! He confessed that he loved eating! When he's bored, he eats. When he's studying, he eats. When he's watching TV, he eats. "My friends called me a Swine because of my huge appetite!" he added.  

You started giggling, "I bet you can't beat me. I'm a huge foodie. Sooyeon calls me a bottomless pit!" "Seriously? Then we should compete sometime," he winked. "Oh boy, be ready to lose! Om nom nom!" you said to him. He smiled at you *om nom nom? cute!* "Do you have a crush on someone? Other than Taemin?" Kai asked all of a sudden. You nodded, "Nae, Chi Hoon oppa!" you blushed. Everytime you thought about Chi Hoon, you couldn't stop your cheeks from turning pink.

"Who's he?" Kai was curious. "Didn't you see him in school? Oh, he was absent. Well, he's our school's kingka and the best part is, he isn't rude or anything. Yeah, he's a player and that kinda pisses me off but never mind. Oh and he looks like an ulzzang! Cool, no?" Kai made a face, "All ulzzangs look like tiny ants!" "Well, then you look like a cockroach!" you snapped back.

After an hour, your parents came back. As soon as they got out of the car, you rushed towards them and started complaining about how careless they could be, "Eomma..Appa....how can you leave the house locked like this? How can you not tell me that you won't be home in the first place by the way? I could have stayed at Sooyeon's place." you completed with a pout.

"Miahne Jamie. We decided to go just an hour before your school gets over so we couldn't tell you." your mother answered with a genuinely guilty look. You chuckled and replied, "Aish~ eomma, I was just kidding. It's okay." You noticed your father glaring at Kai. He did that to every other guy just to make a strong 'im-her-daddy-you-mess-with-her-and-you-are-dead' kinda impact. You turned towards Kai and introduced him to your parents, "He's Kai. He's new in our school so he came with me to know more about this place." Your mother smiled at Kai but your father continued inspecting him. You wanted to facepalm yourself then and there. Kai cleared his throat and greeted you parents. You could see him feeling uncomfortable with your father's continueous staring. You broke the awkwardness, "I think it's time you should go, Kai." Kai nodded in agreement. "I'll just come," you told your parents and went off with Kai, just a little away from them. As soon as you saw them going in, you turned back at him and said, "It was nice talking to you and I'm really sorry I couldn't take you inside. You see, my daddy is a little weird! Maybe some other time." "Never mind. It's nice to know that YOU felt nice talking to me after I irked you so much!" "It's okay. You are not a douchebag atleast." With that you waved at him and ran back to your house. Kai saw you getting in and then left.

You were just about to sleep when you started wondering about all that had happened that day. Kai's entry...your shocked state seeing how similar he looked to Taemin...your verbal knockout session with Kai...Kai following you around like an annoying stalker...and then ending up being friends with him (probably, because he likes SHINee :P ). 'Sooyeon was right. It's good that I gave him a chance', you wondered. It had been just a day since you knew him but you somehow felt like you already know a lot. But what you didn't realise was that there was still a lot more to Kai. There was still something you didn't know about him. What was it? You had no clue. But we do....bahahahahaha 3:D
