Krystal bites her lips, eyes fierce. Her fingers flick on her phone screen promptly, clicking every now and then.   “Are you playing Find Something again?” Jessica asks without looking back at Krystal at the back seat as she is too busy taking selca on her phone. Nothing comes from Krystal, but Jessica doesn’t seem bothered.   “You two,” Jae Joong says from behind the wheel, “stop being anti-social! Turn off your gadgets!”   “What are we supposed to do then on this twenty-minutes’ car ride, Jae?” Jessica shoots back.   “Talk to me?” Jae Joong suggests as he steps on the gas pedal when the light turns green, eyes focused at the road ahead.   “There is nothing to talk about,” Jessica retorts.   “I would be extremely offended by that if I didn’t know you were head over heels in love with me.”   Krystal pauses her game and glares at the couple at the front seat. She could see Jessica trying not to grin too much from her phone, which is on front camera mode. Jae Joong is too concentrated on the road that he doesn’t see this, but Krystal knows all too well that he knows.   “Hello, guys? I’m still here!” Krystal says sardonically.   Jessica replies, “Don’t worry. We’ll reach your future husband’s house soon and you can be all cheesy with him.”   “I’m going to swear at you, Jessica!”   “Don’t be rude! I’m older than you!” Krystal doesn’t reply and is about to return to her game than deal with this useless argument when Jessica turns to the back seat.  “You look good, by the way.”   Krystal looks down at her simple black dress, simple make up, simple wavy hair, and simple accessories on her wrist and ears. She has chosen simplicity with the purpose of not wanting to draw attention or looking like she is vying for some. She examines her sister’s elegant knee-length black dress with off-shoulder sleeves accompanied by diamond earrings and necklace.   “Thanks. You look more dressed up, though.”   “You know, there’s nothing wrong with dressing up. Make yourself happy once in a while.”   Krystal sinks back on her seat languidly, closing her eyes, trying to block this conversation away. Jessica doesn’t stop, though.   “You made the decision, Krys. Stop moping around.”   Krystal keeps her eyes closed. She would never admit that Jessica is right.   It’s just that since Myung Soo confronts her the other day, he has been lying low, giving her space, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any smile sent her way or any staring. She has tried with all her might to act like she is fine and she wants to move on, but it isn’t until Se Hun is around her that her courage increases tenfold. Like when they are working together on their assignment in Chemistry and in other classes where they are in the same class with Myung Soo, such as Maths, English, and Korean. Although she and Se Hun don’t sit together or near each other in these three classes, his presence somehow gives her courage that she can do this and she has to. Because he is also fighting with her.   Even though Jessica feels awful for letting Krystal go on with the arrangement, she is also Krystal’s main source of support. She reminds Krystal that one should not regret one’s decision and if she doesn’t like the world she has chosen, she has to change it and adapt it to her wants and needs.   ---   “See!” Baek Hyun quips when Sulli joins them. “Jong In and Yoo Jin are already flirting with each other!”   As Chan Yeol is explaining to Sulli the new gossip about Jong In and Yoo Jin, Amber turns to the direction Baek Hyun is looking at. She finds Jong In and Yoo Jin bickering—at least, that’s what it looks like to her: Yoo Jin is glowering with her arms crossed on her chest, while Jong In’s arm hangs around her shoulder in an all-too-friendly manner as he whispers something into her ear, and a smirk can been on his lips.   Amber looks around her; some guys from the basketball team, as well as Jong In and Se Hun’s soccer team, are watching Jong In and Yoo Jin curiously. Some are even examining the girl like a piece of meat—not that Amber blames them considering the girl is wearing a white thin-strapped dress with a bow on her left chest. Amber has always seen the beauty behind those glasses Yoo Jin used to wear at school in the past years whenever the girl uses contact lenses during practice and matches, but her modesty and simplicity repress her true beauty. Over the summer, the girl has “bloomed into a swan” (the way Baek Hyun has put it) as evident in the changes in her physique.   Amber may seem very ignorance and insensitive, but she does pay attention to her team mates and friends and she does care about them. Yoo Jin is shy and introverted; she gets nervous around strangers. She always gives the impression that she is harmless to the opposing team, but when she is in the game, she plays better than everyone else in their team combined. Amber has always admired her for her focus and determination. That’s why she is rather surprised to see Yoo Jin being at ease with Jong In, the Kim Jong In.   Amber follows Chan Yeol towards the two, a smirk tugging at her lips. Yoo Jin notices their advances and nudges Jong In in the ribs to inform him.   “-are coming. Get away from me!” she grumbles and pushes him away before the four reach them.   “Got rejected huh?” There is a hint of mischief in Chan Yeol’s deep voice, but Jong In doesn’t seem to be annoyed. In fact, the younger rolls his eyes in response to the teasing.   Amber plants a hand on her hips and gives Jong In the look of something along the line of I-would-like-an-explanation-but-for-the-time-being-let-me-just-enjoy-the-scene.   “So,” Sulli drawls with a grin and an arched brow, a lilt of teasing in her tone, “since when did Jong In and the school’s heartthrob, Kim Yoo Jin, become an item?”   Jong In frowns in response to Sulli’s teasing question, while Yoo Jin’s eyes widen in surprise and red explodes across her face. “What? Did you guys think- Oh God!”   Everyone brushes her reaction off, but Amber’s smirk falters because Jong In looks genuinely confused as the defiance in his eyes disappears for a second. Then, it sinks in to him and he gives the couple an annoyed look.   “Have you been gossiping nonsense about me?” He hits Chan Yeol on the arm, but instead of being in pain, the latter just laughs his head off.   “We aren’t in that type of relationship,” Yoo Jin scrunches his nose in distaste, “and we will never be!”   “We are not in a relationship,” Jong In adamantly justifies. “It’s not what it looks like! That’s disgusting!”   Amber shakes her head in disagreement because a Jong In in denial always says nasty things. “Keep telling yourself that, but,” she waves her hand around the room lazily, “everyone in this room would like to differ.” Jong In and Yoo Jin gaze around as the boys quickly pretend to do something that has nothing to do with staring at the latter. Amber sees the way Jong In lifts an eyebrow in displeasure, having understood what has been happening.   “If you like it, you should put a ring on it, Jong In!” Baek Hyun sings, smirking.   Jong In drapes an arm over Yoo Jin and raises his voice,“Hey, Jin, I’m sleeping in your room tonight, k?”   Yoo Jin gives him a look of confusion and disgust. “What? No! Sleep on the couch!”   Jong In whines, “But, Jiiinnn!” He pouts and blows up his cheek, acting cute.   Amber and co. widen their eyes and exchange glances. The boys in the room are gasping in surprise and are gaping at the two, all pretends forgotten. However, Yoo Jin seems immune by this and scoffs.   “Wh
