Newspaper Club
Silent Attraction
A requirement in this university is to join an extracurricular activity.
The choices were broad, but my preferences were limited,
so I ended up joining the newspaper club.
After classes, I searched for the designated room in a hurry, since being punctual was always a must for me.
I expected to be the first one to arrive, but I was proven wrong when another person’s eyes met mine.
Sehun sat alone in the chair situated beside the window, as in our other class.
I nodded towards his direction before he nodded back.
A second later, I took the first chair that I saw, and I sat down to wait.
No words were spoken, no extra glances were exchange; no sound was made.
I picked up a book from my bag and I started to read it while waiting.
However, while my eyes were glued to the book, my ears followed the steady, loud clicks of a camera.
So he chose to take photos during his free time.
By the end of the meeting, Sehun was made the head photographer while I was made the chief editor.
