(Quick Author's note. I hope you guys forgot the spoiler I gave out when I first started this cause then it'll still ruin this chapter for you. Obviously so I erased it.)
The next day Ryeowook came to the Hospital with a bag of food from Wendys for him and Yesung. He couldn't wait to see the look on Yesung's face. He arrived to the room where Yesung stayed and opened the door to see Yesung playing a video game.
"Come on you fat stupid plumber! JUMP!" He yelled at Mario as the game ignored him and Mario died. " I hate this game so much! Why did that kid have to make me play it."
"Who made you play it?" Ryeowook asked.
"This kid from China named Huang Zi Tao. He's currently suffering from some lung infection. I took your advice and became social and this happens! I make a new friend and get addicted to this stupid fu-" Yesung stopped ranting as soon as he smelled the food. "You brought me some right?"
"Of course I did." Ryeowook laughed handing Yesung his meal. He looked at it before opening it. "Yes it's food and it's edible so you can eat it."
"I know I plan to eat it." Yesung giggled as he took a bite. "It's good. What's it called?"
"It's called a Jr bacon Cheese burger." Ryeowook said.
"Where's the bacon! Oh there it is." Yesung smiled tasting the bacon. "Is that a milkshake?
Ryeowook laughed handing the frosty to Yesung. “No silly it’s a frosty.”
“Same thing different name huh?” Yesung asked. To his surprise Ryeowook agreed both boys giggling. Ryeowook helped Yesung clear the level in Super Mario and gave him some cheat codes to get cool features. Ryeowook told Yesung about today’s lesson and helped him with the homework. After that the boys went to the TV room and watched anything that came on. They stumbled upon Death Note, which they watched for a while. Since it had Korean sub tittles. They watched American cartoons to Korean animes to Chinese reality shows.
Ryeowook went back to the hospital everyday to visit and amuse Yesung along with tell him about the day’s activities in school and with the homework. He also brought food with him to share with Yesung. He brought his game boy and several games with him so they could play together. Near the end of Ryeowook’s visit the boys would go watch TV and sometimes eat dinner together.
“So your mom is okay with the fact your eating here instead of at home?” Yesung asked taking a bite of his sandwich.
“Yeah, she says it’s good that I’m spending my time to support a friend instead of sitting at home and sleeping.” Ryeowook answered drinking his milk. “Yes I’m actually the guy who does that instead of going out side and hanging with people. I’m lazier than you think Jongwoon. So to make up for that I eat a lot of fruits and veggies so I can stay healthy and skinny.”
“I would have never thought of you like that Ryeowook.” Yesung replied. “I always thought of you as a social butterfly.”
Ryeowook laughed before saying. “No, that’s too much work.”
“Do you guys mind if I sit here?” A young boy asked.
“Go ahead.” Ryeowook answered. The young boy sat down next to Ryeowook. “What’s your name?”
“I’m Tao.” He answered “I’m six years old.”
“Nice to meet you Tao. I’m Ryeowook I’m 16 years old.”
Tao, Yesung and Ryeowook began a new conversation and switched topics every now and then.
Five days later Ryeowook was very excited to share his funny dream with Tao and Yesung. He got to Yesung’s room and saw Tao crying on Yesung’s bed.
“What happened?” Ryeowook asked panicked and trying to comfort the crying little boy.
“Yesung hyung is…is dead.” Tao cried. “Well not dead but he’s dying and Sora noona said he tried to commit suicide I asked her what suicide was and she said you’ll learn when you’re older and she tended to Yesung trying to bring him back and they took him out of the room!”
Ryeowook stood there shocked and freighted wondering. “Yesung why? Why would you do this? What if you die? NO! You can’t die! You’re not allowed to! Not after all we’ve been through!”
"Mr. Kim? Ryeowook Kim?" A nurse asked peeking her head in the room. "Your friend left this note for you."
Ryeowook opened the folded paper and read the note Yesung left for him.
