A little fall of rain is one of my favorite scenes/songs from Les Miserables so I was really excited about writing this!(hope I do a good job) But it is very different from anything else I've written, in this one you and Hoya aren't just acting out a scene you are actually LIVING it.

I've changed some of the story line because I want you and Hoya to be a couple! But for the sake of the song I'm gonna be mean and make this confusing~

So Marius = Hoya & Eponine/ 'Ponine = You

Other Infinite members will make an appearance as well~

And when we get to the singing, if there are lines set up like this:

Person 1: Baba black sheep have you any wool?

(Person 2: No, I don't please go away)

Then that means that they are singing over each other, overlapping.

Just imagine that this is a world where people break out into song during really emotional moments(just the way it should be)

Okay Let the story begin!!

Marius sat near the bottom of the Barricade, resting after a day of fighting.

It had been raining on and off throughout the entire day and the ground was a mixture of mud and blood.

Marius had seen some of his friends fall in the battle today, the only thing that was keeping him sane was the thought of seeing you again.

You, His beloved Eponine.

The two of you were childhood friends who had grown up together, and fallen in love with each other, although it took you both years to confess. It was actually only this year.

And then came the talk of revolution, which Marius had quickly become and active part in. And then came the barricades and your nightmare had become reality, Marius was to fight in the revolution.

He could still remember the last time he saw you, the day he left for the barricade.

*Flashback*

The two of you stood, side by side, against the wall of an alley way.

"I should go soon....they'll be waiting for me."

You could only nod, afraid that if you opened your mouth only sobs would come out, you wanted to be strong for Marius.

He could tell you were holding back, "Hey, come here." He gently pulled you into his embrace and suddenly everything you were holding back came spilling out. You buried your face in his shoulder to stifle your sobs, wrapping your arms tightly around his waist with no intention of letting him go.

He fought back tears as he held you just as tightly, burying his face in your hair, "Everything will be all right." he whispered.

You just shook your head, "How? How am I just supposed to sit here and wonder if I'm ever going to see you again? Maybe I could come with you! I-I could act as a nurse or-"

"No, Eponine!" He pulled back to look in your eyes, "It's too dangerous! You could get yourself killed!"

"So could you!"

He sighed and kissed your forehead softly, cupping your face in his hands, "I can't concentrate on fighting if I have to worry about you getting shot. Please just....stay inside somewhere warm and safe and away from the barricade! I'll be back before you know it! And when I do get back, I'll propose to you properly, buy you a proper ring, and we'll have the wedding you've always dreamed of."

You shook your head, "I just need you to stay alive long enough for us to get married at all."

He could only nod, by this time he had tears in his eyes as well.

"Marius?! Where've you gone?! It's almost time to go!" Marius placed his lips firmly on your forehead as he heard Dongwoo calling for him.

He turned to walk away.

"Marius!" You called him one last time.

He turned around to see your running towards him. He caught you in his arms and your lips locked in a passionate kiss that ended too soon.

"I will see you again."

*End of flashback*

Marius was shaken from the memory when he heard his friend's urgent whispers.

"What is he doing?"

"He's right out in the open! Fair game to the enemy!"

He got up to ask Sungyeol what was happening.

"There's a boy climbing the barricade!"

Curious, Marius peeked over the top of the barricade. His eyes widened when he got a glimpse of the boy, only it wasn't a boy, it was-

"Eponine!" He shouted your name and immediatley tried to make his way to you but he was stopped by their leader, Sunggyu.

"No, Marius! The boy is as good as dead! If you go out there you'll get yourself killed!"

"That's not a boy, it's my fiance! Let me go!" Sunggyu let him go without asking further questions.

"Marius!" You shouted in relief when you saw him, you were close to the top of the barricade now.

"Good God, what are you doing?! I told you to stay away!"

"I couldn't! I had to-"

"Yes, yes, you can explain it to me once you're on the other side of the barricade." Something didn't feel right, the enemy was being too quiet and it was making him uneasy. He just wanted to get you safe behind the barricade, "Give me your hand I'll help you up."

You reached out your hand and he pulled you up, letting out a relieved sigh at the sight of your face, you only had to take one more step and you would be out of danger-

BANG!

"NO!"

Your body fell limply against Marius' and you felt a searing pain in your back.

"No! No! No! Eponine?!" He called your name as he carried you to the ground, holding you in his lap. You let out a cry of pain against your will as he moved you, "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! O-Oh God..." he started to cry when he saw the amount of blood your were losing, the evidence clear on his red stained hand, "We need a doctor here!" he shouted to his friends who were watching the scene in shock.

"Shouldn't I be the one who's sorry?" you said with a weak laugh.

"You just keep fighting, okay? Don't go to sleep! The doctor will be here soon....Please get a doctor here!" just then it started to rain again, Marius instinctively shielded you with his body, "I'll take you inside." He made a move to pick you up again but you placed a hand on his arm to make him stop, he looked at you with wide eyes.

You knew if he moved you it would cause you to cry out in pain again, which would cause him more pain, you didn't want to hurt him any more than you were about too.

You could feel yourself fading.

You:

Don't you fret, Monsieur Marius, I don't feel any pain.

You gave him your best smile.

You: A little fall of rain....can hardly hurt me now.

You reached up to touch his face.

You: You're here....that's all I need to know. And you will keep me safe.....And you will keep me close. And rain...will make the flowers grow.

Hoya: But you will live 'Ponine! Dead God above! If I could close your wounds with words of love!

You: Just hold me now and let it be. Shelter me...comfort me....

He held you tightly as the realization started to sink in that nothing could stop what was happening. He swallowed his tears and tried to be strong for you.

Hoya: You would live a hundred years, if I could show you how...I won't desert you now.

You: The rain can't hurt me now....this rain.....will wash away what's past......and you will keep me safe.....and you will keep me close.....I'll sleep in your embrace at last....

He saw tears in your eyes and your body was shaking, he knew you were scared even you wouldn't say it. Your time was almost up. He wiped away the tears and kissed you gently on the lips.

Hoya: Hush-a-bye, Dear Eponine, you won't feel any pain.

(You: So don't you fret, Monsieur Marius, I don't feel any pain.)

Hoya: A little fall of rain...can hardly hurt you now.

(You: A little fall of rain...can hardly hurt me now.)

Your breaths started to get shorter and shorter, your vision darker. You desperatley clung to Marius during your last moments. He noticed your efforts and grabbed your hand to hold it tightly to his face.

"I'm here."

You: That's all I need to know....

You: And you will keep me safe.....And you will keep me close...

(Hoya: I will stay will you....'till you are sleeping....)

You: And rain....

Hoya: And rain....

You: Will make the flowers....

Hoya: Will make the flowers.....

Your body went limp and the light left your eyes. He knew you were gone.

Hoya: Grow....

The rest of the boys watched as Marius shut your eyes with a shaky hand, placed his lips upon your forehead, and gently laid your body down on the ground.

Woohyun came running in, "I found a doctor! He should be here......soon......" He took in the boy's mournful faces and then his eyes landed on Marius, still staring at your body with an unreadable expression.

"I'm sorry..." He muttered while looking down at the ground.

"L-Look!" Sungjong exclaimed and pointed.

Everyone, including Marius, looked where the youngest had pointed. They all gasped as they saw something that had not been there a minute ago.

Next to your body, in a pool of rain water and your blood

Grew a flower.
