Time passed in a blink of an eye for everyone as they were busy with their own things. Jongin's caught up for a big project in Kris' company while Daran and the others are busy studying for the 1^st trimester exams.

Jongin adapted quickly with the job and busier than ever. He has to study for the exams too but that's the last of his worries right now. He has the important project to work at and spending time with her girlfriend became the 2^nd priority.

He even skipped lunch breaks just to continue his work knowing that if the project fails, he too will fail as Daran's boyfriend.

Even though he's sad not to get to spend time with his sweet girlfriend, he has to sacrifice in order to spend time with her in the future.

Kris took the responsibility of making sure Daran is safe and acquainted knowing that Jongin will get busier as he is now. He often takes his friend shopping or for a cup of coffee to talk things out. Catching up and Kris would update Daran about her family especially her grandpa and cousin Luhan.

He told her that her grandpa really missed his granddaughter so much and is really busy with the company, still standing strong and witing for her return together with the workers in the mansion.

The couple, Jongin and Daran, just makes up for the time they're apart by talking all night through phone calls. Jongin wanted to go to her apartment to take a glimpse of her but Daran didn't let him knowing he is tired from all the stress.

Days passed and the exams approached as well as the launching of the project Jongin worked so hard for. It all went well as the project was a success earning a lot of praises from the company to Jongin.

And the exams? Of course, Kris got 1^st followed by Daran and Jongin managed to stay at the top 20 in spite of not being able to study at all.

Daran closed the shop and turned to see Kris but to her surprise, Jongin was there smiling at her. She quickly finished her job and ran to her boyfriend who she missed a lot.

"Why are you here?" she asked confused.

Jongin returned a smile and said "To pick my girlfriend up." playing with his keys.

"The tower, referring to Kris, told me he can handle everything from here." he explained.

Kris, happy of Jongin's hard work, decided to let the boy go since the project was a success and know how Daran missed her boyfriend.

"That Kris." Daran smiled at her friend's soft heart.

"Daran-ah ~" Jongin whined spreading his arms as he pouts.

"I'm tired and I missed you." he blinked sadly that made Daran giggle.

She walked towards Jongin's open arms and buried herself in his embrace. "I missed you too Jongin-ah." she said with a chuckle.

"Mmmm." Jongin hummed swinging side to side as he hugged his girl tight making up for the time they were apart. "I’m so deeply in love with you jagiya ~." he sing-sung happily between the hug.

Daran smiled at her boyfriend's childishness and sang back "I love you too Jongin-ah ~."

After that, the two boarded the car with Jongin helping Daran with her seat belt. Then, he reached something at the backseat and placed a big box on Daran's lap.

"What's this?" she asked eying the box on her lap then at Jonging.

He smiled and said "The Wu corp. will be throwing a party tomorrow to celebrate the project's success and I need a date.” He blinked at his girlfriend with a pleading smile.

“Come with me ne?" he cutely tilted his head to side looking at Daran's eyes with the best eye smile he could provide.

She smiled at Jongin's aegyo and had no choice but to nod. Just who can resist his aegyo? Tell me.

"Of course I'd go with you." she said pinching Jongin's face.

"Assa!" he cheered. "I can't wait to introduce them the reason of that success." he said excitedly that made Daran nervous.

She doesn’t know where her boyfriend gets so much confidence in her that she’s starting to feel self-conscious. After all, now, she’s Lee Daran the orphan.

The two drove to Daran's apartment and to celebrate Jongin's hard work, she let Jongin stay for the night.
