'So, Emily , how long have you been living in the States ?' I asked while heading to the office with her . 'Well, quite long, maybe ten years.' She replied. 

'Ah , I see, so why chose here ?' I asked curious why she picked here rather than any other school. 'I don;t know, my parent's choice . I'm just following them , kinda.' she said and laughed. She then added, 'So, how come you can speak English well ? I think only some of the teachers and a few students only can speak English fluently ?' 

'I've been there too , actually .' I replied , smiling . 'Where to ?' she asked not letting me finish my story. 'States, ofcourse.' She nodded, understanding why I'm rather fluent than other students. 'So , why were you here , don't you wanna continue your studies there ?' she asked while walking with her hands at the back of her body. Usually, the distance to the office is never this far, but somehow, I don't know how, walking with Emily made everything so slow, like the world is in a slow-motion for a second, I thought.
