I had shot out of bed this morning, like a bullet train. This day will be the most memorable.' Why' you ask? Because my 2 year boyfriend will either be accepted in to SM Entertainment or the latter and because I have something to tell my boyfriend. I hurridly ran out of the house, yelling "Bye Umma! Bye Appa!" Without waiting for a reply, I dashed off to the SME building.

I ran past the construction site at the corner of my street, and the florist shop next to it. The florist was shouting curses at the construction workers for being so loud. "Curse your noisy machines! Back in my day, we used more simple and quiet tools to build. You boys have no respect towards your elders! Do you know when I was born?" I heard as I was approaching. "The stone age!" An angry worker trolled the elderly lady. Oh they're in deep ~

I ran past the Lee family meat shop. I waved at Jinki's parents through the windows. I slowed to a jog as I approach my destination. I enter the building, trying to calm my lungs, as it struggles to breathe normally. I ask the receptionist if Lee Jinki had arrived already. "Yes, he's in a meeting with the president. " she replies. I thank her and sit down on a black, leather couch.

I wait.

And soon enough, it's 2:00pm. I sigh and look around. "How long does the meeting take!" I complain. Luckily, the receptionist doesn't hear me. She's probably listening to Big Bang. Ha! If SooMan found out, she would be fired in an instant.

I wait again....

My spirits are lifted at the sound of Lee SooMan's voice. "Think about it Jinki. You can't always have the two things that make you happy." Oh god no... Jinki can't live without chicken...SooMan can't do this to him!

"Neh. I'll contact you in two days." Jinki replies. He sighs and hangs his head down. Uh Oh. SooMan did ban him from chicken! I sit up and Jinki looks up and sighs as his eyes make contact with mine. His eyebrows furrow. He walks to me and pulls me in a hug. "What happened?" I ask. He shakes his head and he grabs my hand. We exit the building and walk to a neighbouring park. It's the park where we met. Oh crap.

FlashBack~

"How do you know when a boy is breaking up with you unnie?"

"Why would you want to know?" Her face twists into a sly grin.

"Just asking..." I blush.
 

She chuckles and replies: "Hmmm... When he doesn't smile at you as much, when he won't talk to you as much, and when he brings you to the place where you met; At least, that's what a proper gentleman does... Bring to the place you met i mean."

"Thank you unnie. You're a big help."

"I know dongsaenggie. I know." she smiles.

END OF FLASHBACK

He's breaking up with me! Why didn't i see it before? He doesn't love me anymore... I pout at my thoughts.

"You're so cute when you pout." Jinki smiles and holds my hands. He holds my cheeks as he says: "But you're beautiful when you smile." My heart flutters, I want to just squeal and jump at his romantic ways. But I keep my cool. "I know." I smirk. He chuckles and pulls me down so we're sitting side-by-side, under a tree.

"Do you remember when I asked you to be mine?" He wraps his arms around me."I said that i would never let you go. Unless it was an emergancy or unless you ask me to." I nod. "Well," he clears his throat. "I have good and bad news." I turn to him.

"Which do you want first"

"Good news." I say smiling.

"Okay... Well, I'm accepeted into SM Entertainment. I'm officially a trainee." He frowns.

I yell in joy and hug him tightly. "I'm so happy for you."

"But." He starts. I withdraw my embrace and sit back down, facing him.

"Because I'm going to be a trainee, I don't have time for a social life. And when I become an idol; fans would get overlly attached and all sorts of dangers would pose to your life."

"What are you saying Jinki?" I smile, confused.

He takes a deep breath."I love you. I will always love you." He looks down.

"Jinki? Tell me the bad news." My eyebrows are furrowed into a knot.

He lifts his head and my heart breaks as I see his eyes wet. "We can't be together anymore... Mian.." He bows his head back down and sobs softly. I stare into the tree trunk, on which he was leaning on. My mouth was slightly open at the shocking news. I come back to reality as I hear Jinki get up. I also get up. I quickly grab his hand, and prevent him from leaving.

"Jinki." I whisper. He turns his face to me.

"I-" I look at him with a sincere smile. 'I'm happy for you." I say still smiling.

"Jagi..."

"No. We're not a couple anymore. Please don't call me Jagiya or Yeopo or any other nicknames you've called me for the past 2 years."

His eyes dart to my hand as I released my grasp on his arm.

"I hope you have a successful career...Jinki-ssi, Hwaiting!" I give him the strongest smile I could manage. The smile fades and I gulp. I take a breath and turn around. I start walking. I love him and I know he loves me too. But it's easier this way. At least I don't have to tell him about my big news.

I walk away from the park.  I walk away from my love... I walk away from Lee Jinki.
