~next day~

The next day at school, Sungyeol tried his best to look for Yookyung, finding a chance to talk to her. He searched around school trying to look for her and finally caught her grabbing some books at her locker. He ran up to her, and tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hey.." Sungyeol said.

"Hmm?" Yookyung replied while turning around. Once she saw Sungyeol she was shocked. "Oh, I-I'm sorry, Hi.."

"Look, could we talk? Sungyeol asked.

"I don't think we have anything to talk about anymore. Please, I think my message was clear enough. You couldn't have forgotten, its only been a year," Yookyung replied harshly.

"Please, just a few minutes." Sungyeol pleaded. Yookyung reluctantly replied "Okay.." The two made their way to the cafeteria and chose a table that was all the way at the corner, just to make sure not much attention was brought to them.

"Look Yookyung, I still love you. I've never forgotten you and I really wished that we could clear the misunderstanding. I-" Yookyung cut him off before he could continue. "If you're gonna talk about that, I think I should jsut leave."

"Yookyung! Just listen to me will you? Please..." Sungyeol said.

"I left for another high school because I didn't want to see you, I was hurt because you didn't trust me. I'm telling you its all a misunderstanding. The girl, the girl I was hugging was my best friend when I was young. She wasn't my girlfriend, I didn't cheat on you. I loved you. And I still do. Please believe me. I know you still love me, don't you? The way you looked at me yesterday, I knew there was something. I know its been a year but I hope we could still get back together.." Sungyeol's eyes were filled with sadness and longing. He noticed that Yookyung's cheeks were wet. She was crying.

"No, I don't love you anymore. Why would you hug her if she was only a best friend? You could have just said hi or something, but why hug her? And you didn't tell me about you meeting up with your childhood best friend either. Was it something that you think should hide from me?! You don't know how hurt I've been. I tried to forget you, but now you're back again...." Yookyung said as her voice slowly drowned in her tears. Yookyung shook her head, and ran away.
