Snowflake

The bite of the cold was nothing compared to the warmth I feel.

This little snowflake enamored me with its beauty.

I wish its beauty would last forever.

But nothing lasts that long.

Forever is a wish...

An illusion.

Just like a snowflake.

Even with its beauty, it wasn't enough to stop change.

A snowflake fell on the palm of my hand.

Warmth seeped through the little flake

and I watched the snow melt on my hand.
