Fix you
Description
Well, I'm back with my 4th chaptered fanfic... :)
This is about Jonghyun, last year, he was in a car accident. Unfortunately, his mother and sister died. He now lives with his father, who has turned to alcohol to deal with his problems, in a run down house, that is barely standing but is enough for them to live in. Because of this, his father has violent outbursts. Jonghyun also has to work to provide for him and his dad, although it isn't much, it's something.
Jonghyun, because of dealing with his father, has not got the grades to graduate and so must re-do his senior year in highschool.
This is where he meets a boy called Kim Kibum or 'Key'
Jonghyun isn't the type to make friends easily. In face, most of the time he can be found sitting under a tree that was on campus on his own if he wasn't in a lesson. He didn't like people getting close to him. He didn't want anybody to find out about his life, about what he hid behind a mask of smiles. He didn't want people to know how his father beat him everytime he was in a drunken rage. He only had one friend, and even he didn't know about Jonghyun's home life.
Kibum on the other hand comes from a loving, wealthy family. He has a group of freinds that adore him and even with his diva like attitude think he is the most amazing person going.
One day, they are paired together for a science project. And much to Jonghyuns dismay, Kibum becomes very persistant in finding our more about him, the mysterious boy that nobody knows.
As the boys grow to know each other, feelings develop. But what will come of this?
Will Key find out about Jonghyun's secrets?
What will happen if he does?
Can they accept their feelings for one another?
(I'm awful at descriptions, i know)
Foreword
The class room was silent as Mr. Park told everyone who their partner would be.
"Sir, if there is an odd number, can i just work alone?" Jonghyun asked, hopefully
"Ah, I'm sorry but we have an even number of students this year Mr.Kim. Thanks to you that is" Mr. Park smiled "now, where was I? Ah yes, Kim Kibum... and.......Kim Jonghyun" After that he continuted to pair up the rest of the class.
Oh that's just wonderful thought Jonghun pair me up with the diva boy.
"Ok, now sit with your assigned partner" Mr. Park stated, and with that the class moved around.
Jonghyun still stayed where he was however, thinking that Kibum could come to him.
Key made his was over th the boy he thought oddly resembled a dinosaur and sat next to him. "Hey, I'm Kibum, but you can call me Key" he smiled
"Hi" was all Jonghyun muttered in return, not even bothering to look at the other boy.
"Well... I guess you're not one for long talks... Hmmm, we can fix that though" Key said, looking the boy up and down. He had to admit, he was rather good looking, in an odd way, but he looked fit. He'd seen him around school, so he knew that he was a year older than him. He was kind of curious as to why he was repeating the year... And knew that he would get it out of the dino boy sooner or later.
"What do you mean by 'fix that'" Jonghyun said, finally turning to face the other boy
"It means, that i will have you talking soon enough dino" Key said, a little sassily
"Don't get your hopes up Kibum"
"I said call me Key"
"I don't remember agreeing that I would though"
"What is wrong with you?"
"Me? You're the one wanted to be called a Key or whatever" Jonghyun sighed, resting his face in his hands
"Well, i am The Almighty Key! In case you didn't already know that Dino" Key snapped back
"The Almighty Key? Are you for real?" Jonghyun rolled his eyes. It was going to be a long year.
"Oh whatever, look we should swap phone numbers so that we can sort this whole project thing out" Key sighed, pulling out his phone and handing it to the Dino.
Jonghyun typed in his number and saved it under 'Jonghyun<3' just because he was bored. Although, now he looked at the younger, he couldn't demy that he was breathtaking. He was kind of cat like, but was also cute and somehow y at the same time. Like he thought before it was going to be a long year.
Key looked at Jonghyun's name and rolled his eyes, but didn't delete the heart, instead he held his hand out for Jonghyun's phone.
Jonghyun reluctantly handed it over.
"Woah, this phone is so old... Have you ever thought of buying a new one?" Key raised his eyebrow as he saved his number in it as 'TheAlmightyKey<3'
"I like this phone" Jonghyun mumbled, slightly embarrassed. Luckily for him at that point the bell rang.
"Okay, well i will call you tonight. Bye Jjonggie" Key yelled as he skipped out of the classroom to find his bestfriend/son Taemin.
"Seriously, what is with this kid?" Jonghyun muttered as he walked out of the classroom, and began to head home. Praying that his Appa had drank enough so that he was knocked out when he returned.
No such luck.
As he walked through the door, he felt something heavy hit him across the cheek.
Great, he thought, that's going to leave a mark. How the hell am i meant to hide this one?
