Narrator's P.O.V

Many hours had already passed; It is already 7:00 P.M

Maria had already ate her dinner and took her shower; Now, she is wearing a printed white shirt and black leggings.

Maria is sitting infront of her study table and done with her homework then she goes sit on her comfy bed and takes a look at her white teddy bear then she takes a hold of it.

Maria's teddy bear:

Maria's P.O.V

This bear brings back many memories; it is very special to me because my mother gave this to me when I was going to move here in Tokyo and because of this bear, Jin and I met.

Nobody's P.O.V

*Flashback*

A four-year old Maria and Aunt Adelina are in a school where Maria will be studying.

Aunt Adelina says something to Maria...

Aunt Adelina: Maria, I'll just arrange some things for your your enrollment; wait here or play with those kids at the playground.

Maria: yes, Aunt Adelina.

Maria sees two boys playing at the sandbox while Aunt Adelina goes inside the school then Maria hugs her teddy bear and approaches the two boys.

Maria: ah...can I play with you?

Instead of a kind approach, the two boys smirk at each other and takes the teddy bear then they start passing it with each other while Maria starts crying

Some young boy shouted...

Jin: hey! stop that!

Jin gives the two other boys a glare and ready to fight but the two boys becomes scared and drop Maria's white teddy bear then they run away while Jin picks up the teddy bear and sees a foreign looking girl (Maria).

Jin approaches Maria and says in a broken english manner...

Jin: don't cry

Jin gives the bear to Maria and gives her a gentle smile while Maria takes the bear politely.

Maria: arigato gozaimasu.

[Aunt Adelina taught Maria how to speak in Japanese at a young age]

Jin: nihongo de hanasu koto ga dekiru? (you can speak in Japanese?)

Maria: hai, sukoshi (yes, a little)

Jin: watashi no namae wa Akanishi Jin desu. (my name is Akanishi Jin)

Maria: watashi no namae wa Matsumoto Maria desu. (my name is Matsumoto Maria)

Then you and Jin starts playing at the sandbox

*End of Flashback*

Maria's P.O.V

We used to get along well at that time but now, not that much because I'm like the noble girl in school while Jin is the bad boy who is busy flirting with the girls in or outside the school but I'm thankful that we are helping each other, we trust each other, protecting each other and comfortable with each other's company.

Nobody's P.O.V

Maria starts lying down on her bed while she starts to cry.
