Chapter One: Different Ways

Narrator's P.O.V

At Johnny Music High...

It is already 5 o' clock in the afternoon.

Maria and Jin are now walking to their own locker. After a few minutes, Maria and Jin open up their lockers; the both of them put their books and other things inside.

After that, Maria and Jin close their lockers then Maria just sigh.

Jin: why did you sigh?

Maria: I'm glad that school is finally over.

Jin: me too, you answered again correctly during Fujiwara-sensei's class.

Maria: while you're sleeping again in sensei's class, Bakanishi-kun

Jin: hey, don't be rude

Jin pouts and makes an angry but cute face at Maria while Maria just giggles and says to Jin...

Maria: stop that.

Jin: hai Maria-chan :)

Then Kazuya, Junnosuke, Koki, Tatsuya and Yuichi approaches them. They greet Maria and Jin then Kazuya says something to Jin...

Kazuya: Jin, we will go to the karaoke now. wanna come?

Jin: yeah and when did I say no to you guys?

Yuichi: never

Jin: how about you Maria? wanna go to the karaoke?

Maria: you know Jin, I never go to those kind of places.

Jin: yeah, I know

Jin just smiles at Maria while Maria gently smiles back. Junnosuke says something...

Junnosuke: Maria-chan, please hang out with us.

Then Tatsuya whispers something to Junnosuke...

Junnosuke: ah...on the other hand, Maria-chan...maybe it's good for you not to come.

Maria: Junnosuke-kun, why did you change on what you said? what Tatsuya-kun whispered to you?

Junnosuke: ah...

Koki: because there will be...

Before Koki can say anything, Kazuya covers Koki's mouth with his hand.

Jin: Maria-chan, maybe it is not good for you to hear those words.

Maria: ah...hai

Kazuya lets go of Koki; after that, Koki breathes in and out

Koki: don't do that again Kame.

Kazuya: gomen-ne Koki.

Jin: I'll just accompany Maria-chan home; see you at the karaoke bar.

Maria: bye guys, see you on Monday.

Kazuya: bye Jin, bye Maria.

Junnosuke: bye Jin, bye Maria-chan.

Koki: bye Jin, bye Maria.

Tatsuya just smiles and waves at Jin and Maria.

Yuichi: bye bye to the both of you :)

Kazuya, Junnosuke, Koki, Tatsuya and Yuichi goes outside the school; after that, they ride the bus to go to the karaoke bar while Jin and Maria walks home.

While Maria and Jin are walking home, Jin carries Maria's bag.

Maria: arigatou Jin-kun.

Jin: you're not still used to me?

Maria: well, I'm used to you; we've been friends for a very long time.

Maria gives her angelic smile to Jin while Jin can't help but smile back.

After a thirty-minute walk...

Jin and Maria arrives infront of the apartment then Aunt Adelina opens the door.

Aunt Adelina: hello~^^ and Jin, do you want to have dinner with us?

Jin: gomenasai; Aunt Adelina, I have to go somewhere with my friends.

Aunt Adelina: is that so, okay.

Jin: bye Maria-chan and Aunt Adelina

Maria: bye Jin-kun

Aunt Adelina: bye Jin.

Jin smiles at Maria while Maria gently smile back.

Then Jin goes straight to the karaoke bar by riding the bus while Maria goes inside her apartment.
