“Hyung! Are you sure you’re really okay?” They’ve been worried about their hyung for days. He’s been spacing out since his encounter with Seohyun.

“Gwenchana” said Yonghwa and smiled at them

“Jinjja?!” said jungshin who’s testing his patience

“Ne!”

Then the door opened and Jonghyun arrive carrying light beers and dukbokki.

“Let’s drink! It’s Friday today you know? Boys hangout?!” said Jonghyun, they will sort things out. He’ll find out what really happened five months ago.

They sat on the living room and Minhyuk hurriedly gave them each beers.

“So” Jonghyun cleared his throat, sensing the building tension seeing Yonghwa in his serious form. “What really happened five months ago?” Jonghyun eyed Yonghwa, measuring his mood that time

“I knew it!” Yonghwa chuckled “You’re Lee Jong Hyun of course!” then he got serious again. *sigh* “Ahrasso. I guess I need to tell you the whole tragic story five months ago”

FLASHBACK:

“Yonghwa-yah! Please accompany uri-Shinhye to the US now” her mom, Shinhye’s Grandma and Aunt came to visit him at the hospital that day.

“But Omma! You know I can’t!” No matter what happen he won’t leave Seohyun especially in her condition now. But then unexpected things happen

Shinhye’s Grandma and Aunt kneeled in front of him. Bowing their heads

“Please Yonghwa we beg you! She’s too young to die! Please be with her for a while” and they cried loudly

“Haelmoni! Auntie! Please stand up! Don’t kneel please!” Their cry are getting to loud that some of the by-passers are now peeking at the door

“Please Yonghwa-ssi! I beg you! Please!” begged grandma

“Yonghwa-yah I promise I’ll take care of my daughter-in-law well! I swear I won’t leave her side until she totally recovers” pleads her mother

His head hurts, he can’t leave Hyun’s side especially at her condition, but Shinhye’s getting week day by day

“Omma please understand me!” he said, begging his mom to understand him “Omma she saved me!! Because of my stupidity she got into an accident! All because of me Omma!” he said. Tears falling on both sides of his cheeks

She closed her eyes for a while, seeing his son suffering like this pains her. She love Seohyun as her own daughter but since Shinhye’s parents died, Shinhye became her daughter too. She won’t let Shinhye suffer and die. She already talked to Seohyun’s daughter and said that she’s in a stable condition now, but still needs to examine her. God forgive her, but she needs to do this.

“Listen to me Jung Yong Hwa” she said in a stern voice “Go with Shinhye or else I won’t let you marry Seo Joo Hyun” sorry my son, sorry hyunnie.  She’s trying her best to control herself from crying in front of her son

His eyes widened, he can’t believe that his mom can say that kind of thing. “OMMA!!”

“No! listen to me Yonghwa! I know Seohyun needs you, but Shinhye needs you too! Seohyun have lots of people that can take care of her, but Shinhye? She only have us! Will you just watch her dying?!”

He sighed, he know he lose to this argument already. His mom already made up her mind and he knows she’s serious with her stopping their marriage.

Hyun please forgive me for this. I know you’ll understand me

He silently prayed. First, for Seohyun to be safe especially now that he won’t be around her, Second, for Shinhye’s fast recovery and Third, for him to overcome all this problems

He sighed “Okay. I’ll go with her, but Omma please promise me you won’t leave my fiancee’s side. Promise me you’ll be with her always.” A tear escaped his eyes. He reached for his mom’s soft hands, holding it tight

“I will. I promise” She cried too, sharing her son’s pain

“Hyung I’m so sorry” Minhyuk suddenly said. Face full of guilt

“Why? Why are you saying sorry Minhyuk-ah?” he confusingly asked Minhyuk

“Because of me Seohyun-ssi didn’t saw your letter for her”

“WHAT?! HOW COME!?!”

FLASHBACK

“Where do you think you’re going?” Yunho blocked Minhyuk from entering Seohyun’s hospital room

“I need to see her now” Minhyuk said

“What for?! Your stupid hyung left her for another woman!” He’s about to argue with him, when suddenly his phone rang. Jungshin’s name flashing on his screen

“Minhyuk-ah! Where are you?! Hyung is leaving! Come to the airport palli!” Jungshin hurriedly said

“Here. Please give this to Seohyun when she woke up! This is really important!” Minhyuk gave the letter to Yunho and left.

When he entered his car, he saw the vitamins he brought for Seohyun.

“Pabo Kang Min Hyuk!!” he scratched his head and snatched the vitamins. Hurrying thru Seohyun’s room, as he walk thru the door he saw Yunho crumpled the letter and threw it in the trash bin. He’s about to pick it up when the phone rang again

“He’s leaving in 15 minutes!!!” Jonghyun said on the other line

Few days later, they’re still depressed. Missing their hyung and now Yonghwa’s mom visited them. Telling that she needs to go to Busan as soon as possible because Yonghwa’s grandma has been rushed to the hospital because of her sickness.

“I already called Yunho yesterday. I know you guys are busy so Yunho is the one who’s taking care of Seohyun now. He said he’ll take care of his bestfriend”

BESTFRIEND my !! Jonghyun snorted

“I know Yonghwa will understand that this is a serious case, and I know you’ll visit your sister-in-law often right? Please help Yunho taking care of Seohyun.” Mrs. Jung said, seeing her pale face and big eye-bags is a proof already that she’s stressed out from all of this problems

“Don’t worry Mrs. Jung we’ll take good care of hyungsoonim” Jungshin reassuringly said

Few days after, they visited Seohyun to the hospital. They heard that she regained her consciousness this morning and that’s a good sign. They saw seohyun’s door half open, when they peeked on it they saw Yunho staring down at her

“Who are you?” Asked Seohyun innocently

That shocked the hell out of them, mouth hanging wide open and eyes widening.

“seohyun-ah! Don’t joke like that!” Yunho disbelievingly said

“I’m not joking mister! Who are you? And who’s Seohyun?”

“You’re Seohyun and I’m Yunho” he said softly, not taking off his eyes off her

“Are you my family?” Seohyun asked, forehead creasing

“I’m your boyfriend” he caressed her cheeks and leaned on her, kissing her forehead

Jonhyun was about to enter the unbelievable drama scene Yunho created when Minhyuk and Jungshin stopped him

“Wait hyung!” whispered Minhyuk and Jungshin

“That bastard!!! He’s lying!! I’ll kill him in-behalf of Yonghwa hyung!”

The day after that they visited her again, luckily Yunho’s not there. They saw her there, silently reading in front of the big window, spring wind blowing her long soft brown flocks

They knocked three times and stood in front of her.

“Annyeong haseyo!” She looked up from the book, a smile plastered on her face

“You know us?” Jungshin said, they saw her eyes widen

“err. I can’t remember, but you’re here so what brings you here?”

“where here to visit you”

“Jinjja? Who are you?” Seohyun eyeing them

They introduced themselves, talked and laughed about the random things they’ve been telling. Hearing her heartfelt laugh brings smile to their face. Then they saw her yawn, Jonghyun nudge Jungshin and Minhyuk. Signalling them to stop their conversation

“We’ll go now Seohyun-ssi. Please take a lot of rest”

“Ahrasso!” said Seohyun cheerfully

“B-but Seohyun-ssi” she looked at Minhyuk who’s contemplating if he should ask it or not

“What is it Minhyukkie?”

“Y-your B-boyfriend”

“Oh Yunho? Why? What about him?”

“Do you s-somehow feel r-right about it? Does your heart f-feels it?” Minhyuk ask doubtly

“Eh? What are you trying to say?” She asked, knot beginning to form on her forehead

“N-nothing, w-well go now Seohyunnie! Annyeong!”

Minhyuk got alerted when he saw Yonghwa crushed the empty beer can on his bare hands

“THAT BASTARD!!!” he shouted angrily “I KNEW IT! HE’LL TAKE ADVANTAGE ON THE SITUATION! I KNEW THAT HE’S PRETENDING THE WHOLE TIME! BESTFRIEND MY !”

“Hyung! Chill! It won’t do you any good you know!” said Jungshin who’s been sweating seeing Yonghwa in his hulk-form(keke^^)

“I won’t give up! I’ll make sure I’ll win her heart again! No matter what”

“What will you do hyung?” Minhyuk curiously asked

“AZILE fashion wants me to be their model”

“DAEBAK!!!” Jungshin said, giving his hyung 2 thumbs up. Then Yonghwa smiled mischievously

Few minutes later, Jonhyun’s phone rang. When he came back, a smile forming on his lips

“Yah what’s with that smile?” Yonghwa asked

“Who’s up for a gig tonight?!” shouted Jonghyun. They all raised their hands and run thru their practice room

They arrived at the said venue, which is CNSD’s cosmetic launching. The owner is the wife of Jonghyun’s good old friend Lee Dong Gun, not to mention he’s a long-time fan of CNBLUE that’s why on the last minute preparation, Lee Dong Gun tried his luck. Besides its his birthday after all that’s why Jonghyun agreed easily

While they were arranging their equipment, the guest arrives. Some famous personalities, actresses with their dates, supermodels, and at that moment Yonghwa caught one familiar figure. Wearing a mini black sparkly one-shoulder dress, hair tied in a messy bun, with her red lipstick and simple yet elegant over all make up. An epitome of a goddess indeed

“Seohyun-ssi!” Jungshin shouted excitedly, forgetting Yonghwa’s existence. It’s been week since he last saw his new found bestfriend. Their personalities really match so well that everytime they met, they always go home the next morning.

Seohyun turned around and saw him. She smiled brightly and waved at him excitedly, but then someone called her, she turned around to signal Jungshin that they’ll talk later which Jungshin nodded gratefully. Then Jungshin heard someone cleared his throat, and saw Yonghwa throwing invisible daggers on him

“WAE?!” he said defensively

“What’s with your expression?! Are you her fanboy now too?!” Yonghwa asked, not hiding the jealousy he’s feeling

“I just miss my bestfriend” Jungshin said in-a-matter-of-fact statement

“Bestfriend my !!” Yonghwa said bitterly

Jungshin snorted “You know it’s the truth hyung! Wae? Because Yunho and Seohyun started as bestfriend too?!” It was too late to bring back what Jungshin said, he saw Yonghwa’s face darkened

Jonhyun smacked Jungshin’s head immediately. Ruining Yonghwa’s mood. “YAH! Pabo!” Jonghyun said to Jungshin who’s now sulking at the corner

“Sorry hyung I’m just joking” jungshin pouted

“Guys are you ready?!” Lee Dong Gun asked excitedly, Jungshin sighed in relief. Giving Lee Dong Gun his silent thanks

“Hyung don’t be too excited!” Jonhyun

Yonghwa spotted Seohyun, seated at the front table across him. Seeing her gorgeous full view, ogling at her, the black mini dress emphasizing her creamy white porcelain skin, the cloth fitting her perfect S-shape body

*clears throat* “You’re obviously ogling at my bestfriend. Close your mouth hyung! Aigoo too obvious!” Jungshin again, this time Jonghyun and Minhyuk laughed on Jungshin’s remark

Yonghwa clears his throat and gave seohyun a last look only to clash with those warm brown eyes he loves. It seems like his world spin again, going back to their own little world only just for them. He’s the first to broke the eye contact, fearing that he can’t concentrate when he’s playing

The light dimmed, with only the blue spotlight lighting the whole stage and the romantic bright candle in every table illuminating the guests. The way the candle light do wonders in Seohyun’s smooth skin made Jung Yong Hwa stare at her again. She’s too close to the stage that he can see that she’s also looking at him. He closed his eyes, calming his self

Yonghwa spat in bitterness) Then Yunho hugged her again, tightly. Yonghwa closed his eyes again, fearing he’ll walk out any second. Feeling his heart, repeatedly breaking, he’s falling apart.  “OPPA!” seohyun ran to him and hugged him tightly. He just came out from their dressing room. Today they’ll perform in Seohyun’s birthday. It’s a grand celebration because she also celebrates her college graduation. So as his gift CNBLUE will perform

“Uwaaah! My boyfriend looks hot!” Seohyun said, admiring him. He’s wearing a tuxedo which made him look firm and neat and most of all HOT. He straightened his hair just like the way she like it

The she heard some noises on her back, she turned around and saw some girls squealing, looking at her boyfriend, ogling at him

“But Oppa” Seohyun said, pouting, then she blinked slowly, seducing him

“YAH!!!!” he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose

“My girlfriend is flirting with me eottoke?!” He said teasing her, but the truth is he’s affected with this seducing thing his girlfriend is doing

“Yonghwa-ssi! It’s your turn now. YAH! Seo Joo Hyun!! Let your boyfriend play! Don’t be selfish!” shouted her Yuri unnie. Seohyun turned in her unnie’s direction and sticked out her tongue. The she turned back to Yonghwa and gave him a long kiss. She then pulled out “See you later handsome” and winked at him before walking back to her unnies table

He stood there at the stage, looking directly at his Goddess

“Seojoo!” Minji and the guys shouted “Happy Birthday and Congratulations!”

Then Minji spoke “First of all thanks for coming to uri-Yong’s life! Uwaaah! You really change him to a better person, not that he’s a bad person but yeah! He doesn’t have enough sleep since yesterday. Perfecting things, even editing the slideshow himself, he did all of it, even contacting the guest, arranging the vtr shoot, etc. all for his Goddess

He looked at her in the eyes, hands on her waist, she intertwined her free hands to his and he leaned to her, and whispered “I love you” and kissed her on the lips

When they got back to their seat, he clashed again with those eyes. They’re staring at each other again, this time Seohyun’s the first one to break the contact. Then Yonghwa’s phone vibrated. He received a text from Mrs. Misun, Azile Fashion’s head secretary, Mrs. Misun is a motherly type of woman. She’s 45 years old already, she has a son and a daughter, have been working in Azile Fashion for 7 years now. She’s a warm woman, which the staffs treat her as their second mom because of her loving attitude. He read the text

“Meeting tomorrow for the upcoming photo shoot. 8am sharp. See you!”

He looked up and saw Seohyun reading the text on her cellphone too, she probably received it already. He smirked “See you soon my Goddess, can’t wait to work with you” and he spend the rest of the night staring at her
