She saw Yonghwa running fast to Seohyun’s direction, But it was too late to step on the break.

The tires screeched so loud that Seohyun automatically closed her eyes
Then a loud crashed echoed on the empty road, air pricked through her skin making her shiver with the creepiness made by the silent road after the crash. Eyes still close yet her tears started to fall uncontrollably.
Her heart beats fast that it hurts her to breath, feeling nobody’s presence.
She’s so scared to open her eyes. Andwae! If it happens I’ll follow you. But NO! I wan’t us to have a happy ending!
As she slowly opens her eyes, she can clearly see his back. Still standing, yet he froze on his spot. And following his gaze, she saw a huge fire eating the whole car.
“Oppa” she whispered silently
“Shinhye’s gone” He said with a flat tone
“Oppa” she reached for his hands and hugged him tight. Squeezing out the emotions trapped inside his body
“She’s dead” Yonghwa said
Holding him like that breaks her heart. Seeing him suffering and yet she can’t do anything but to hold him close. Is it my fault? Is it my fault that that accident happened???
“Seohyun-ah. My bestfriend is gone” a tear escaped from his eyes. She hugged him tighter, hoping that she can pass some of her energy to him. She rubbed his shoulder, giving him warmth knowing that he’s feeling cold inside.
“I’m sorry Oppa. I didn’t mean to walk at the road carelessly. I’m sorry this is my fault” her head bend down low, shoulders shaking. And continuous sob was heard from her, that made him snap back and her tone alerted him. He got up and hold her on both side
“Don’t say that!”
“This is my fault!” She got up and run as fast as she can until she reached her car. From a distance she can hear him calling her, his voice going closer and closer. She hurriedly fastened on her seatbelt and drove the car at fast speed. Her tears making the way blurred.
Then she heard her phone rings yet she ignores it.
I’m the one to blame! I took away his bestfriend. I’m bad!! I killed an Innocent person! I hurt him again! I don’t deserve to be in his life anymore.
She stepped hard on the accelerator, making a loud cry from the car.
He heard it, that loud sound. She’s driving so fast that his heart began to race and beat loudly that his heart is about to come out of his chest.
He can’t get out, his car was blocked by the flaming car yet he can’t think of anything right now. First he did was he dialled his dongsaeng’s number. He badly needed them right now.
On the second ring Jonghyun answered the phone, voice still sleepy.
“hyung. What’s the problem?”
“Palli get up and come over here! I badly need your help! Please hurry up! We don’t have enough time!please hurry up please”
“Calm down hyung we’ll be there as soon as possible”
Minhyuk, Jungshin and Jonghyun ran straight to the garage right after they received Yonghwa’s heartbreaking call.

Few minutes later when the three boys arrived at the exact location, and was shocked when they saw the flaming car.
“HYUNG!!” they saw him pacing back and forth at the road side, when he saw them he ran and snatched the key from Jungshin’s hand
“Hyung! Where are you going??”
“I’m after Seohyun” And after that the car accelerated, leaving the three boys mouth gaping at the sight of the car disappearing from the dark side of the road

Hyun! Answer the call!
He’s still driving fast, following his instinct on where Seohyun go. He stepped harder on the accelerator
This time I swear I won’t leave you anymore
Hyun where are you? Please God please let her be safe.
I want to see you Hyun!
And seems like God answered his prayer, he saw her car driving fast, ignoring the complicated road. His heart began to beat fast again. He slowly breathed and prayed to God that all of this problem will end today.
He stepped again on the accelerator making the engine roar, as he speed up, he successfully surpasses Seohyun’s car. In a flash he saw her crying, mind not focused on her driving.
Seohyun-ah
As he measured the enough distance, he maneuvered the car blocking the road. Few seconds later he heard Seohyun’s car still at a fast speed.
This time I’ll save you
and Yonghwa closed his eyes. Readying his self for what could happen anytime soon

Pain won’t go away, her hands still shaking and even her legs feel the same too. She felt numb, she felt like she’s a criminal running away from the police.
And as she speeds down, she saw a familiar car overtake at a full speed. Ignoring it, she continued driving and stepped on the accelerator again.
As she drove past the flashing trees because of her speed, she saw a blue car blocking the road. For a fleeting second she stepped hard on the brake making the tires squeak really loud, marking the road from her tires.
There’s a few inches distance between their cars, her heart beats loudly as she recognize the person inside.
She breath a sense of relief, thinking of what could happen if she hadn’t stepped on the brake fast gives her chills. She unlocked the car’s door and stood in front of the driver’s window.

A loud knock from the window made him open his eyes.
“You! What the hell are you doing?!” he saw her blazing with fury. He hesitantly climbed out of the door, preparing his self to take the wrath of his Angel Goddess. She moved hastily towards him and prepares her hands to slap him big time.
His eyes widen as he saw her preparing to slap him. He closed his eyes and waited for her slap.
“Pabo!!! You Idiot man!”
She wraps her arms around him and felt him froze. She placed her head in front of his chest and felt the fast beat of his heart
“I’m sorry” her moves startled him. One minute she’s been blazing with fury and now she’s apologizing. He heard her sobs and it broke his heart into pieces
“hush .. hyun. Why are you saying sorry?” he tipped her chin making her look at him
“I killed your...” and before she finishes her sentence, he kissed her deeply
“Blame yourself and I’ll kiss you even if we ran out of breath” he told her
“Yong I’m not joking!!” she desperately shouted
“And who says I’m joking?!” he caressed her soft cheeks and he looked at her in the eyes
“Joohyun don’t blame yourself. What happened is an accident. Believe it or not no one wanted for this to happen! Do you understand me? Don’t blame yourself!” he said softly. His voice so soft that it made her knees go weak and her tears fell uncontrollably
“Joohyun ah please don’t cry. It breaks my heart” his voice croaked. She knows he’s only comforting her, but deep down inside he’s also mourning
“I’m sorry for everything Yong. And with all these things I did, I’ll let you decide if I will stay or go away” she whispered painfully. She felt his hold tighten
“Don’t you dare leaving me again Seo Joo Hyun or God Knows how far will I go just to bring you back again”
“you’ll let me stay?” she asked in a small voice
“I would trade anything for you to stay by my side forever” his voice husky, seeing his emotions raw and vulnerable. She cupped his face and gaze at his beautiful brown eyes
“ I’m serious Yong. I’m sorry for what I did, I’m sorry for pretending that I lost my memory. For hurting you so much, for playing with your heart” she cried, it’s the first time she cried like this. Giving out all her kept emotions since the day she opened her eyes and found out that he left her.
“No. Don’t blame yourself hyun. It’s me and my stupid decision. I’m sorry for hurting you hyun, I shouldn’t left you when I know you’re suffering in that damn hospital bed. I’m supposed to be there, I’m supposed to be the one that you saw when you opened your eyes since the accident. You save me yet I left you and I hate myself for that. I hate myself for everything that I did wrong. I know I don’t deserve this kind of love from you Joohyun, but because of my selfishness I don’t want you to go away from me anymore. Those times when we’re apart are the worst time of my whole existence.” His voice broke and tears began to fall uncontrollably down his cheeks
“Yes I hated you for what you’ve done Yong, but I understand your situation back then. And if it’s me in your shoes I also have done it. So please let’s stop blaming each other. It’s all in the past right?” she caressed his face and wiped his tears away, kissed him lightly and hugged him tight.
“I love you. I never stop loving you” she said truthfully. Sincerity echoing through her voice
“I love you too Seo Joo Hyun. I would never do the same mistakes again. I will never let you out of my sight again. Never, never will I make you cry again.” He hugged her tight and nuzzles her hair. And slowly he tipped her chin and he kissed her forehead, her nose, her eyes, her cheeks and lasted in her lips.

It’s almost 4 am when they finished talking to the police.
“Sleep at my place” he leaned down and kissed her temple
“hmmm..” she’s been exhausted, all the things that happened today seems unreal.
Their car stopped in front of a big and beautiful house.
“Let’s go” he opened her car door for her and wrap his arms around her.
“Is this your new house?” she asked in amazement. Her tiredness forgotten
He didn’t answer, thus he hold her hand and entered the beautiful house. She looked at it with such adoration leaving open.
He stared at her for minutes, admiring her beauty, her beautiful skin, her little nose, and the sinful lips he love. He ushered her through the stairs and stopped in front of a big door that looks like the master’s bedroom.
“Close your eyes” he whispered huskily
He ushered her inside the mysterious room.
“Now open Mrs. Jung”
She opened her eyes and gasp as she saw the big portrait above the king size bed.
It’s their wedding pictorial they took right before the accident. She looked at him
“what’s this? Why is it here?” she ask, even though her subconscious is telling her the obvious
“This is our house.” He said, his voice croaked.
“our house?” she looked around their spacious room. Walk-in closet, a big en suite, a big glass door that leads to the beautiful veranda
“Hyun” he called, his voice nervous
“ne?”

He fetched something from his pocket and made her seat at the end of the bed. He kneeled in front of her making her shock. Deja vu
“Seo Joo Hyun. Can you come back to me now and make our dream wedding come true? I promise I won’t hurt you again, I promise not to leave you whatever happens. I promise to take care of you, even if we grow old, I promise to only look at you. I promise to be a good best friend, a good husband, a good father, and I promise to love you until death do as apart. I’ll be the husband you would be proud of. So please stay with me until forever, because you’re the only girl I want to spend the rest of my life with. Marry me hyun” his voice is unwavering, looking deep down her eyes, making her feel his sincerity, his love and his passion for her.
“Yes” her answer is a whisper, but it feels like she shouted it in his ears. He grin that infamous cheek bursting grin and he inserts their engagement ring on her finger. They cried like lovers that are reunited.
“Welcome back My Angel Goddess” he whispered and kissed her lips softly, as they lay tangled at their bed, promising a beautiful tomorrow for the both of them.
