Jeongmin tugged on his backpack for more comfort. He pushed open the gates and walked towards home.

"Damn it!" He yelled. The boy threw down his backpack, and groveled right there on the sidewalk. "Why the hell do I care!"

People driving by, slowed down as he saw the maniac face down on the sidewalk.

"Damn it, Layla...." His hand clenched.

Chaejin debated whether or not he should call her. He walked around his car.

"Should I call? Gah, I'm going to see her at lunch anyways, but is it too much?" He repeatedly tapped his index finger to his temple.  

"Oh, screw it! Be a man Chaejin!" He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and started to call Layla.

"Master Chaejin?" Sebastian said out of nowhere.

Startled by the butler, Chaejin dropped his phone.

"Unnie!" I whined. Elaine kept going on about how my friendship with Chaejin was something more.

"It's not! He isn't my prince! We're just close friends!" I protested, with an obvious red glow across my face.

She smirked and rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, you two totally like each other! It's more than friendship."

I crossed my arms and stayed silent.
It's nothing! There is nothing but care and friendship between Chaejin and I.

..Yeah...nothing.

Elaine and I continued to walk the vacant hallways, which was very creepy, but luckily the daylight kept us afloat.

As we walked down the vacant halls, my phone rang.

Speak of the devil it was Chaejin.

"Sebastian!" Chaejin said nervously.

"Sorry to have started you, but are you okay? I just wanted to check on you."

"I'm fine... don't worry!"

"I see, seems to me you care deeply for Ms.Wu."

Chaejin paused, then let out a deep sigh.

"Honestly, I really l---"

"Miss Song and Miss Wu! Why are you two not in class!"

The teacher nearly chased us all the way to our class.

Elaine and I separated when the teacher chased us.

She went to math and I headed on down to English.

But, I clutched my phone close to my chest.... and recalled to what Chaejin had to say....

"You honestly...what?.............." I gulped. "Chaejin..."







My heart seemed like it wanted to stop..
