Some boys were bullying a little girl in the park. The girl looks like an Asian girl.

“Hey, where are you from? You don’t look like us!” the first naughty boy asked her and pushed her.

“I..I…I…(in Korean)” the little girl cannot speak in English very well.

“Can’t you speak English?! Hahaha… guys, she is an alien. She doesn’t speak our language.” 
The naughty boys started to . The little girl was very scared and she started crying.

Then, a little boy with black hair approached them and stood in front of the girl.

“Don’t touch her!” he said with the pierce eyes and protected the girl.

“Who are you? How do you dare to disturb us?” asked the naughty boy.

“I bet you don’t need to know me, just let her go or I will beat you all.” 
One of the naughty boys looked angry and wanted to punch him, but the little boy was very fast and caught his hand. 
The naughty boy felt hurt in his hand. “Let go of my hand” 
The little boy let go of his hand and all of the naughty boy looked afraid and they decided to leave them. 
After the naughty boys left, the little boy approached the little girl, “Are you okay?” (in english). 
The little girl who cannot say something in English said thank you in Korean.
 “Oh, are you from korea?” (in Korean). After knowing that the boy can speak Korean, the little girl looked very happy.

“Kamsahamnida. I was very afraid and you help me. Jeongmal Kamsahamnida”. Said the little girl.

“It’s okay. I know them and they always disturb other. Where is your home? 
Ah, by the way, what is your name? I am Kris, I am from China but I know Korean little bit, I have gone there before”

“My name Jae Na. My parents move here last week.”

“I see, well, let’s be friend Jae Na.” Kris smiled to Jae Na and she smiled back to him. 
After that, they often meet there to play or chat about their daily life. 
Until one day, Kris said that their family will move to China because his father had job there.

“Do you have to go? I will have no friends here.” Jae Na said in tears.

“Don’t cry Jae Na. I promise we will meet again. Alright, ten years from now, let’s meet in Korea, 
I will find you and we will be together as right now.” Kris said to Jae Na.

“But, why we have to meet in Korea. Can’t you come here?” asked Jae Na

“Because this is not the place where you are from. Let’s meet there” said Kris with smile
"But, how can I find you. In a big area like that?" asked Jae Na.
"Don't worry. I will give you this." Kris take a cute necklace with a pendant with the shape of letter "K".

"When I see someone wears this necklace, I will know that it's You." said Kris. Jae Na then take the necklace
and hold it tightly.

“Promise?” Jae Na asked Kris to do pinky promise. They do pinky promise and both of them are smiled. 

Not long after that, Kris left Canada to China.

End of the flashback.

10 years later….

Jae Na arrives in the Seoul International airport. She step forward to the gate and after that she smiles and say “Korea, I come”.

Jae Na POV: Finally, I arrive in Korea. I apply for a scholarship here and finally my dream come true.

I never forget how difficult the test, but I managed to get here.

I open my bag and find the address of my new school and my dormitory.

I said it dormitory because I don’t have close family in Seoul so I stayed in an apartment near school which is built by the school for foreign students. I stop the taxi and give the driver the address.

And not long after that, I leave the airport to my new life in Korea.
