Daisuke Hibiki, 11 years old, and just recently, My aunt had passed away. I really don't have much to fuss over, since that aunt of mine always mistreated me, called me a Monster, a bunch of annoying stuff like that. But since she was my last blood relative, I'm alone now.

     Monday morning, My alarm clock was buzzing like crazy, and darn it was annoying. I lazily pulled my self up out of bed and switched the alarm off, and strolled down to the kitchen. It was only 6:30 and I usually headed to school at 8:00, so with the extra time I had on my hands I whipped up an actual breakfast. A nice traditional japanese breakfast, I've really grown tired of the western style, with the fried eggs, toast bread and stuff, Auntie really liked that kind of food, I guess it's because she's half. Once I finished my meal and cleaned up, I decided to take a shower, and so I did. Some how, a few minutes later I caught myself staring at the mirror in the bathroom again, a sharp sigh left my mouth. 

     "I wonder when the landlady is going to kick me out and throw me into an orphange?" I pondered.
Since this apartment was originally owned by my aunt, she was the one who payed the rent, she honestly had quite a fair bit of money. Now that she's gone the rent is left unpaid and god knows that I can't even think about touching auntie's life insurance money, its only a matter of time until I'm thrown away.

     it's 7:00, I finished showering and had dressed myself in my uniform and was ready to head to school, but it was still somewhat early, but I headed out anyways

    "Daisuke Hibiki, are you in right now?" came a voice from the other end of the hall.

     The voice was a pretty sounding voice. "Yea, I'm in, do you need something?" I replyed, my voice resounding down the hall.

     Soon enough a very pretty lady walked up to me, and kneeled down to my height, she looked like she was in her late 20's.

     "Ah, so its true, you do have a weird left eye," she laughed, poking at my face.

     Thats when I realized that I forgot to wear medical bandages to cover up my eye, I started to wear them because I thought it could some what reduce the teasing and bulling, but eventually the kids who already saw my eye spreaded rumors, and it continued downhill from that.

     "Who're you?!" I hissed, pulling away from the lady's hand.

     "Darn, you're cold as I heard too," she snickered, "Listen up kid, I'm the landlady's daughter, and I'm going to inherit this apartment, so from now on I'm the boss, and I'm going to let you off until you're old enough to work, got it? be greatful," she explained, looking all high and mighty.

     "Really? you serious? thankyou!" I exclaimed, trying to look as happy as I could so she wouldn't change her mind.

      I honestly don't like adults like her, rude, all high and mighty, but I gotta be thankful, she's gonna let me freeload here until I'm old enough to work, I'm real glad I don't have to go to one of those orphanages, maybe its good to have rich people pity you from time to time.

     "You're welcome kiddo, just stop by my place to pick up money for food, kay?" she laughed, waved goodbye, then walked off.

      I went back into my room and opened the cabinet that had my stash of medical bandages, I carefully wrapped one of the rolls around my head, making sure it was covering my eye, and then I cut the excess off. By then it was already 7:30 and it was a good time to go to school, so I grabed my book bag, my other belongings and hurried off to school.

    On the way to school I saw some of my classmates, all happy, pushy and noisely walking down the pavement in groups, since I go to and all boy's school, it seemed a little rougher, not that I care though. I strolled silently behind them, I didn't want them to notice me, I didn't want anything to do with them this early in the morning. I was at the point where couldn't slow down or I'd be late for school, and I couldn't run ahead because they'd notice me, I was down right cornered. 

    Suddenly I tripped on my shoelace, and god I felt like an idiot when I fell down face first, I've always been a klutz, and I didn't like that. I scrambled to my feet, and I already knew that one, no two of the boys had me in a tight situation.

    "Hey, Hibiki tripped and fell on his face, what an idiot!" laughed one of them,

     "Wait why are you even here, don't tell me you were following us? ewww get away loser," another one snarled.

     Obviously I'm here because I'm going to school, and I never chose to be a klutz! Words jummbled in my head, I really wanted to talk back, but I knew where it would lead if I did.

      "Hah? you still trying to wear those bandages to hide that hidieous eye of yours?" another boy stated. 
      That boy was about to rip off my bandage, so on reflex, I kicked him, and that, was a bad move. Another boy walzed up to me and punched me in the face, yelling "what ya do that for!" Before I knew it I was almost at my limit, I was just about to collapse, thats when somebody came out of no where, and started to beat up the other boys, and then eventually chased them away.

     I wobbled over to a nearby tree and collapsed to the ground, my mind was in a haze, I closed my eyes... & tried to stable my mind.

     "You okay?" said a voice, it was gentle pitch but it was definitely a guy's voice, and for some reason, it soothed me.
     "I got rid of those jerks so you can relax...," right after catching those words, I fainted and fell fast asleep. When I came to, he wasn't there anymore, it looked like he left his jacket behind, no, rather he lended it to me as a blanket, "I want to return it soon, so I can see him again," is what I thought.

     I can still remmember faintly, that I felt warm and comfortable, I remmember that he'd ruffled up my hair, I don't know why, but I felt at ease at that time. I guess there is some people like out there like him.
