"Kim? are you done?" Emma asked as she entered Kim's room to check if she's done dressing up, today's the day they'll meet her mom's friend, their new customer and Kim has to look fabulous and presentable. "Yes mommy, almost done na po." she answered, wearing on her black 5-inched high heels. "Okay, dalian mo Kim ha, Tinawagan na ko ng friend ko she'll be there in an hour daw, tinawagan ko narin si Maja, she's on her way na" Kim smiled "Okay mom. 10 mins."..Emma then left the room to wait for Kim downstairs.

after a few minutes, she's almost ready, when she stepped out from her room, Kim saw her dad heading to another room... "Dad.."

Kim called, Albert turned around to face Kim waiting for whatever she's going to say "Um, hindi po muna ako dadaan ng hotel in a few days, kasi po may bibigay saakin si Mommy na customer sa shop, Medyo kailangan kasi ng ilang araw na trabaho sa designs kasi marami-rami po yung orders nung customer. papaalam lang po ako" She explained.

"Ano pa bang magagawa ko, tell me? is there anything I can do to stop you? wala naman diba. So why do you have to tell me. Ewan ko ba diyan sa mommy mo, napaka kunsintidora." Albert said and walked in to another room. he left Kim hopeless of pleasing his dad but then again, it's the same scene over and over again. 

Simon woke up around 8am in the morning, as soon as he went downstairs, he saw his mom, dressed, she was sitting on the couch, reading the news paper and having a quick coffee for breakfast. "Good morning ma." Simon greeted as he kissed her mom on the forehead. "Good morning my dear. O, wala kang basketball practice?" Elsa asked when he Simon on a plain white T-shirt, Jersey shorts and slippers, his usual get-up at home.

"Nope" SImon replied "Rest day today ma, kasi kahapon halos buong araw ang practice." 

"Oh I see. Ay siya nga pala..." Elsa pulled out a sheet of paper from her bag "here's the application form the med school...so fill this out and siguro after your basketball league, we can go there na personally to submitt the form tapos interview and all. para next school year, go ka na sa med school"

 Simon looked at the application form on his hand and set aside it for a while "Sige ma, dito muna 'to, Let's see, okay? after the game na lang" Elsa smiled "Sure, that's what I told you naman diba...good for you"

"So...." Simon started, trying to bring up a new conversation, coz he doesn't want talking about med school, when he noticed his mom dressed very early  "Why are you dressed up pala? Today's sunday ah, Wala kang clinic diba?" 

"Yes. but I'm going to meet up with a friend and her daughter who's a bag designer. kasi since malapit na yung birthday ko, medyo konting celebration lang naman, gusto ko bags ang giveaways ko. how's the sound? is that okay kaya?"  Elsa asking Simon's suggestion.

"Bags? Hmmm. pwede, unique yun Ma. ano palang plans mo for your birthday, like saan mo icecelebrate?" He asked. "I want it to very simple pero classy, since hindi naman na ako teenager to have a very big celebration, siguro more or less 60 guests lang, friends, relatives, and of course you, my baby boy" 

"How bout dad?" Simon suddenly asked even though he knew her mom doesn't want to talk about anything about his american dad and her husband since they were separated 5 years ago.  Elsa remained speechless

"Naisip ko lang ma, we haven't seen him for a quite a long time, baka naman we can invite him on your birthday, siguro naman he'll come" Elsa shook her head "I don't know. kung pupunta man yun, it's not because of me, maybe para sa'yo he'll come visit. pero i don't know, Sige it's up to you. I know I've been selfish lately kasi ayoko talaga siya makita, pero since he's still your dad, I'll leave it to you if you want to invite him" 

"Thanks Ma. I promise kung pupunta man siya, hindi siya magtatagal para hindi mo maalala yung mga sakit na naidulot niya" Simon replied half jokingly as he said it with a deep tagalog "Wow. malalim yun ha" Elsa said giggling.

she then take a look on her watch "Gee, it's almost 9. hatid mo na kaya ako anak, kasi I've been calling Ruben (driver), e wala po oh, baka ma late ako sa meeting time namin" ..  "Sure ma, tara, I'll just use my car"  Simon offered. and they head to the said meeting place. 

Meanwhile on that said meeting place, Emma, Kim and Maja have already arrived 10 minutes before the 9am, and while they were waiting for Emma's friend to come, Kim and Maja pull out their collage of different designs to be shown to their new customer.

and along the avenue driving was Simon, who doesn't have any idea that he'll have the chance to see the girl he met yesterday, he didn't really know if that was love at first sight but he really wants to see her again. 

At exactly 9:15am. Simon and her mom arrived at the meeting place at a fancy restaurant within the metro. Kim and the rest were sitting beside the glass window wherein you can see who's coming and parking their cars infront of the resto. 

"Ayan na siya.." Emma said when she saw Elsa got out of the car, Maja and Kim started fixing their postures and preparing the things they needed. 

"Omy god, sino yung guy na kasama niya?" Maja asked when he saw Simon, attracted by his good-looking features.

"He looks very familiar" Kim said as their eyes followed them walking towards that entrace of the resto. 

"Hello Amiga!" Elsa greeted with excitement "Elsa!" Emma excalimed as both of them have their beso-beso. Simon was busy looking at her Mom and her friend that he didn't even notice Kim who was sitted next  to the them. 

"Ang cute niya mah friend!" Maja said staring at Simon. "Mah friend parang familiar talaga siya saakin" Kim replied trying to focus on Simon's face who she can't barely see because the cap he's wearing on his head which covers his eyes a bit. 

"Let's have a seat, Amiga" Emma offered

"Before anything else, this is my son, Simon" Elsa said, her arm wrapped around Simon's shoulder. 

When he smiled and  took off his cap, both Kim and Simon looked at each other surprisingly, Kim's eyes widened as she remembered the face she encountered yesterday

"IKAW?!!?" Kim and SImon excalimed at the same time. both with different reactions, Kim got really surprise because she didn't have any idea that he was the son of their new customer, and she didn't know if she has to be really nice to him so that her mom would not have a bad impressions on her. 

while Simon, was also surprised, but deep inside there's the tought of him saying that thank god he saw her again, the girl who he has a good feelings with. and from that moment, he knew they'll be seeing each other a lot and that idea just makes him really excited.
