Darkness
Poetry Collection
Can you imagine
A world without light?
Where the air is cold
And filled with infants' cries.
Where the moon is red
And the Earth has eyes.
Here the damned roam freely
And devour all things
In Hellish fire
And shrieking screams.
Where Death himself
Thrives on the chaos and discord.
And demons all over
Obey his every sadistic word.
Screams and howls,
Shrieks and growls,
A cacophny of evil
Loudly on the prowl.
The perpetual copper scent
That permeates the air,
The eternally silent screams
That Death loves to hear.
This rough hand of fantasy
We never wish to feel.
For if it lands upon us,
This will all become real
So thankful for the ligh
tAnd it's warm, loving glow
For if it never existed,
Death will use his bony claws
And during the eternal night,
Rip away your soul.
