Catching Fallen Stars"Shopping? No way! Crowds scare me," you stared at Lay in disbelief.
"Then what do you want to do?" Lay rested his hand on your shoulderes. It felt conforting to have someone with you.
"I want to go."
"Where?"
"That place. The same one. That park," you said, breaking your words so that they sounded odd. You would always do that; do something that set you apart from others.
"I have a better idea...," and with that Lay took your hand and led you on the rocky, pebble road. Tall grasses were growing on the sides of the road, like long, hairy fur on a lion. You longed to rest on top of the tall grass, floating on the grass, like riding on a cloud. Lay smiled as he turned to face you, walking backwards.
"If I fall, I'll drag you along with me," he teased, waiting for your reaction.
In an instant you pushed his chest so that he almost his balance. "Whoa!" Lay reacted fast enough to gain his balance before falling.
