Siwan’s point of view:

She suddenly stood up to go to the bathroom and said that Yuri and I should get to know each other , I continued to eat my lunch .  She stopped by Yuri staring at her and mouthed “hwaiting” and did a fist pump .  Does she think I like Yuri ?  Aigoooo … Choi Sooyoung , you are one clueless girl …

“Yuri-ah … you didn’t tell her about what happened in class did you ?” I said breaking the silence between us

“Ani , why would I tell her ?  You should be the one to tell her not me .” she replied

“Oh … Kumawoyo …” I said

“Siwan-ssi , why do you like her ?” she suddenly asked

I chuckled at the question and she stared at me in confusion .

“Yaa !  So you don’t like her ?” she asked

“I love her … But I do not have a specific reason for loving her .  Why ?  Because the heart doesn’t need a reason to love .” I told her

Yuri’s Point of view:

“Siwan-ssi , why do you like her ?” I asked

He chuckled at the question and that’s when I started to get confused .

“Yaa !  So you don’t like her ?” I asked

“I love her … But I do not have a specific reason for loving her .  Why ?  Because the heart doesn’t need a reason to love .” he said

I was speechless , his reason for liking … no – loving her ..  His love for her was more than what I expected .  Thank you Siwan-ssi …  thank you for being so honest with me , and thank you for loving my bestfriend like this .

“Kumawoyo Siwan-ssi” I whispered and looked down .

“What are you so thankful for Yuri-ah ?” he asked

“What you said about my bestfriend , your feelings for her … Thank you …” I said

Siwan’s point of view:

“Kumawoyo Siwan-ssi” she suddenly whispered

I looked at her and she was looking down at her food and she looked like she was about to cry .

“What are you so thankful for Yuri-ah ?” I asked

“What you said about my bestfriend , your feelings for her … Thank you …” she said

I smiled at her words

“Yuri-ah , you don’t need to thank me , I should be the one thanking you for taking good care of Sooyoung and being her bestfriend .” I said with a soft smile on my face .  She shook her head and looked up at me with watery eyes .

“I haven’t been a good friend to her … When she was crying earlier today , I wasn’t with her to comfort her … I wasn’t with her when that 2-faced b*tch and 2-timer bastard hurt her feelings … Even though she has a smile on her face today , I know she’s not alright .” she told me while trying to hold back her tears .

“Yuri-ah … that’s not your fault .  You shouldn’t blame yourself for what those people did to her …” I said as I handed her a handkerchief to dry her tears .

Narrator’s point of view:

From afar , you were watching them happily as they were talking .

*I guess I’ve done my part !  Yuri-ah , Siwan-ssi , good luck !  You have my support” you thought to yourself while smiling .

You decided to leave the two alone for the rest of the lunch period and headed towards the garden .

Siwan’s point of view:

“It’s okay Yuri-ah , it’s not your fault …” I said as I patted her back .

“Siwan-ssi , you should confess to her soon and mend her broken heart .” she suddenly said

“Yuri-ah … I don’t think I’m ready to confess to her just yet … Especially when she doesn’t seem to remember me anymore .” I said

Yuri gave me another confused stare and said “She doesn’t remember you ?  You’ve met each other before ?”

“Yes , we have …” I said and told her how we met .

“Ah !  You were that guy who she was telling me about last summer !” she said excitedly

I raised my eyebrow , she told Yuri about me ?  I’m happy .

 “She told you about me ?” I asked her as she nodded

“She told me she met her hero while she was in Busan for the summer .” she said

I was shocked that she told her bestfriend about me and … her hero ?

-Flashback-

I was asleep when my phone suddenly vibrated .  I looked at my phone and saw that Sooyoung sent me a message .

It has been 30 minutes and she still didn’t reply .  I started to panic , I quickly rushed to get a sweater , grabbed my shoes and made my way to her aunt’s house .  On my way there , I saw Sooyoung sitting outside of her aunt’s house .  She was talking to someone on the phone and she looked like she was crying .

“Oppa !  W-what do you mean we are over ?!” she yelled at the phone . “BWO ?!?!  Oppa … how ? … how could you do this to me ?!” she said in tears .  “Oppa !  Please don’t do this to me … I’m sorry !  I’m sorry that I couldn’t spend summer with you … Oppa please don’t leave me …” she sobbed

“Yeoboseyo ?!  Yeoboseyo ?! Yaa Kang Sonji !” she said and started dialing a number but it looked like nobody was picking up .  She tried several more times then she finally gave up and started sobbing uncontrollably .

“Sooyoung-ah …” I said as I started to make my way to her but she suddenly ran away without looking back .

The next day , I waited for her at the ice cream shop but she never came .  I went to her aunt’s house and she told me that she left early in the morning saying that there was an emergency in Seoul , and that she needed to be there .

I tried calling her but she wouldn’t pick up … “Sooyoung-ah , I hope you are okay” I said sadly as I made my way home .
