Chapter 4

(Yoona)

As I stepped out of the hospital, I felt a hand wrapped around me.

“Heechul Oppa” I smiled as I felt a peck on my cheek.

He pulled me a distance away before he started to examining my cast with a worried expression. His usual cranky smile had disappeared.

“Heechul, don’t worry. It’s not hurting anymore.” I smiled as I touched his cheek.

I know he had always disapproved me to join this force.

I know he had always worried for me ever since I insisted to join; even he himself guided me along.

I know he always give in to my stubbornness.

I embraced him tightly.

“Yesung was mad when he called me. I was so worried of you, darling. You never know how much your safety meant to me. You should have heed his instruction”

I gently pulled him away.

“It’s too late. I fired. “ I sticked out my tongue.

“Promise me, no rash act from you anymore before I make sure you quit this force” He spoke sternly.

“Yes sir, but you have to promise me too. You must not pass on before me, alright? You don’t know how worried I was when you are on the frontline.” I spoke out all my worried that had build up .

“Silly. I won’t left you alone” He hugged me tightly. But I can see his expression soften a little.

“Fany!” I shouted as I stepped in the house, following by Heechul.

“Yoona? What happened to you? Why are you on cast?” Tiffany scanned my casted arm.

“Don’t worry! It’s alright!” I gave her an assured smile.

As Heechul laid my bag on my table, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

“It’s an accident.  I will be sleeping in the guest room till when she healed completely.” Heechul smiled as he said.

“Darling?” I looked at his eyes to find him smiling.

“I always disapproved you girls staying alone in such a big house, without a man around. Especially when things are happening around lately”

“I can fight!” I positioned my fists when he shook his head.

“With that cast?”

I sticked out my tongue and he stared at me.

“Oh gosh, I just can’t stand you two!” Tiffany gave a shrugged before moving up to the next floor.

With him by my side, I felt so much safer.

Within 3 days from my medical leave, the murderer struck again. This time it’s the abandoned park.

The police combed around the area but found nothing.

Yet Heechul and Yesung are going to team up to track the er down.

Worried, I removed my cast before returning to the office.

I stepped in the office hurriedly. I know they are going to move off soon.

I went to Yesung desk as I can see him getting ready for the frontline.

“Are you going to track him down?” I asked.

“What you doing here? I not suppose to say anything as it’s a secret mission” He replied coldly before looking at me.

“Promise me to take a look out of Heechul. Don’t let anything happen to him”

“Don’t worry I will” He put his pistol into his pistol pouch.

“Can I join force?” I asked again.

“To get yourself killed? Look. Your cast is an evidence on how calm you are” Yesung replied sarcastically.

“Yoona? Why are you here?” Heechul walked toward our direction.

“ Sir, I coming back to join force” I replied.

“Yoona, come to my office please.” Heechul stared at me with slight anger as he moved towards his office. I followed closely behind.

“Look, Yoona, I won’t and will not approve you at all. “ Heechul looked at me.

“But..”

“ I will promised you we will be safe, alright?” Heechul reassured me.

I nodded and gave him a peck on his lip.

"You coming home tonight?"

He nodded before he gave me a tight embrance.
