It was me.

Random Pieces

A shrill scream could be heard below the sound of thunder.

The rain fell down in icy sheets while a knife's dirtied blade glimmered as lightning struck in the dark and abandoned alley way. The day was one of bad fortune in Seoul. Gangs were all over the city, robbing, mugging, murdering...

And one today was so unlucky to run into them.

-----

Sirens rang through the city.

Inside the police cruiser rain droplets shattered on the window, and the beat of window wipers creaked as they swept across the window like a black crow. They took a swift left at a corner and the tires slid across the slick pavement as they pulled up by a dark and rusty alley way full of pipe work and empty trash cans.

---------

I stood up and rubbed my eyes. I must gave passed out somewhere again... I was suffering from fatigue as I was walking home and I could've plain out. I looked around where I stood. I saw a bright light coming towards me and the sound of people talking.

Behind them was a cruiser.

They came closer.

They shone the light on something next to me, on the ground up against the wall.

I gasped

Someone was stabbed to death.

......And it was me.
