Your POV

„Urgh, this is so exhausting!“ your best friend complained next to you. „I have no clue why we even have to learn all this, we will never need it!“. You nodded in agreement, but still did your homework, a presentation for your music class without like her. They were important, the good grades you got. You wanted to be the best, wanted to achive something in life. And this was necessary!
Still deep in thought about your project, you heard your friend again „At least we can do something pretty amazing! K-Pop ist he best, we’re so luckyyyy!!“ „Now stop fangirling, Mira, and just help me with this power point presentation. If we hurry up, we’ll still have time to watch that movie you wanted to watch so much…. What’s it called again?“
Taking the project called „Music around the world“ as a pretense to watch „71 – Into the fire“ with you, Mira had totally tricked you. You were not intereted in Korea, Korean war, or that musician in the movie she loved so dearly.  You had to admit, he was pretty good, but you really couldn’t understand her obsession.

One week later, you had to present your Project…. In front of a committee of 15 people, music experts and a crowd of about 5000 people. Since you’re school had already won several prices in all kinds of activities, now you were choosen to go up against 20 other school presenting music styles from everywhere around. You were totally chilled, though you had to go into the spotlight, on stage, but Mira was the exact opposite. Biting her nails she walked up and down backstage. You didn’t even try to calm her down, you knew her reaction, she’d totally freak out.

About 10 minutes later it was your turn and you had to go out.
„Hello, we are Mira and Jade. We are now going to tell you about Music in Korea. The History, classic Koren music, the present, for example K-Pop and what the future of Korean music might be. We will take the lyrics and dances as well as the traditional korean clothes in consideration as well! Please enjoy our presentation!“ As you finished, you looked over to Mira, who was going to present the first part, talking about the Traditonal music. But you saw her, completely frozen, staring at the Committee „Uhm… Mira? Dear?“ You walked over to her side of stage and slightly nudged her into the side slightly. She jumped up, didn’t notice you come closer to her… „Uhm, yeah, so, the tradition of korean music has a long history!“, Mira started stuttering nervously. You didn’t know what’s wrong with her, but you didn’t think about it anymore, and went on with the presentation. 20 Minutes later you finished and left stage, everyone applausing because of your absolutely perfect presentation. Your teachers backstage complimented you, and you walked up to Mira, hugging her, while she sobbed in your pastel purple blouse, leaving some makeup on it. „Hey, hey, what’s wrong, dear? What happened there on stage just now, and why the hell are you crying? We were great!“

Still sobbing, Mira took you by the shoulders and looked deep into your eyes „The committee. That. Was. G. ing. Dragon. In. The. Committee. Just. Now. Smiling. At. US!  DOYOUEVENKNOWWHATTHATMEANS?!"

I looked at her completely puzzled.

„G-who?“

There you go with the first chapter of my first ever story.

It's still pretty boring, isn't it? :D
I try to make it pretty exciting, I have some pretty huge plans for this story^^;;
