◆ Choi Siwon - a whole package of dysfunction. Prominent characteristics include split-personalities, disordered mind, excessive bloodthirst and insanely religious. Current occupation being terrorist, internationally known as "Shisus". One of those marked SC Cases in SJ Rehab Institution, taken care by the Vice-director himself. Possessive over whom he takes fancy with.

◇ Kim Kibum - former therapist, now working as SJ’s Vice-director. He earned master degrees in various medical majors: doctor, surgeon, pharmacist, psychologist, scientist, etc. A cold, calculative beauty. Devotes himself to work and seeks out perfection (his own standard of perfection of course). Only regards Siwon as a valuable 'lab specimen' — (at the beginning).

◆ Cho Kyuhyun - addict, part-time gang leader. Has a rather dark past, resulting in capricious change of behaviors (from playful to beastly in half-blink); a man of strong, strong needs. Smug, dark, full of wits. One of the marked Special Class (SC) Cases, currently being treated by the Head of Addiction Department. So far hasn't shown any positive progress.

◇ Lee Sungmin - professional therapist, Head of Addiction Department. Proud and strong-willed. He remains the best in this specific field unfailingly until one certain Cho Kyuhyun joins the game. Their relationship starts out roughly, seeing how the evil bastard can't keep it in his pants for more than five mins, and literally glomped him on their very first meeting.

◆ Yesung/Kim Jongwoon – drug addict, alcoholic. Cruel and cold-blooded. Arrogant and egoistic. Doesn't show many emotions. Has a rather dark past. Always keeps a rusty ring in his person. One of the marked SC Cases. Secretly fascinated by his therapist - the Head of Drug Addiction Department.

◇ Kim Ryeowook – freshly-graduated therapist, Head of Drug Addiction Department. Warm and understanding. He was appointed to "fix" Yesung for his first "big case", or "grand debut". As he learns more about this man, however, something deeper than a doctor-patient relationship starts growing.

◆ Kangin/Kim Youngwoon – former mafia boss, blood maniac. Enjoys massive killing and mind torment. A full-fledged sadist. One of the marked SC Cases, been assigned to Leeteuk, the Head of Violence Department for two years. Has shown remarkably good progress, though seldomly reverts back to his old self for specific reason.

◇ Leeteuk/Park Jungsoo - professional therapist, Head of Violence Department. Appointed as Kangin's personal caretaker since two years ago. Calm, gentle, caring and elegant. Has a motherly instinct. He always denies fluidily when the other man claims him as his 'property'.

◆ Eunhyuk/Lee Hyukjae - freshly-graduated therapist, Head of Game Addiction Department. Colleagues of Lee Sungmin and Kim Ryeowook. In a relationship with the Head of Caffeine/Sugar Crave Department. Humorous and easy-going. Always wearing a happy gummy smile.

◇ Lee Donghae - freshly-graduated therapist, Head of Caffeine/Sugar Crave Department. Colleagues of Lee Sungmin and Kim Ryeowook. In a relationship with the Head of Game Addiction Department. Friendly and honest. Always has a relaxing smile.

◆ Hankyung/Han Geng - businessman coming from China. Stumbled across insomnia many years ago. Hasn't been cured ever since. (The real reason behind this involving a very cranky therapist, but he won't tell it anytime soon).

◇ Kim Heechul - professional therapist, Head of Insomnia Department. Flippant, fierce, tempestuous, potty-mouthed, egoistic. The only one who can find him 'lovable' is his long-term patient: Hankyung.

◆ Shindong/Shin Donghee - Director of SJ Rehab Institution. He founded the place to specifically treat people with confirmed intelligence (though corrupted minds) and enough money to board their suites. His real intentions are still unknown.
