S POV

            When we were handed our schedules for the next day, I felt gob smacked. We were having another collaboration with Super Junior? I no longer knew if I wanted to. It seems as if every time we did something with them, I would come home and feel more confused than ever.

            Taeyeon looked over at us. “Remember that song we were practicing? Today, we’re finally going to film it! Today is the start of Girl’s Generation being Korea’s number one ambassadors!” she pumped a fist in the air and cheered.

            I coughed nervously and looked over at Yoona. “Would Yoongie be coming?”

            She glared slightly at me before sighing. “Unfortunately no. I have a CF to film. Aren’t you a lucky girl? You get to hang out with the oppas, again.” I looked at her, not quite understanding her acerbic tone.

            I sighed. What could I do? I looked at her and wanted to cry. “Unni, I’m sorry. I’ll make sure to take pictures for you.” I tried to make her understand that I hated it when she was mad. She shrugged and walked away.

            My face fell but I was determined to be happy. I had a filming to do. And if she was going to be bitter, unfortunately, she couldn’t take it out on only just me. I grabbed my bags and ran to the van. “Come on guys! Let’s go!”

            We drove to the Han River and we were given our roles. Inside, I became silently thrilled when I realized that I got to be Kyuhyun’s love interest. He was going to be a student artist and I would be dressed in a costume, handing out balloons to children.

            When we started filming, I blushed and self-consciously looked down at the ridiculous costume I had to wear. Kyuhyun-oppa looked salivating and oh-so-gorgeous in his black hoodie. His curly hair was tousled in just the right way and I felt my breath catch. Why did I even doubt myself?

            He ruffled my hair and smiled. “You’re lucky my mom’s the principal of an art academy of else I wouldn’t be able to draw you! Put on that mask now. And I’ll get to see you stumble, Seohyunnie!” he winked at me and showed me the drawing.

            “Psh, I’ve seen your skills, or should I say lack of? This is totally not your work!” I punched him in the arm and he pouted.

            “You’re doubting my skills.”

            I snorted. “No skills. Now let’s go! We’re getting ready to film.”

K POV

            Seohyun really was too adorable, especially in that costume of hers. The checkered dress made her look several years younger and I couldn’t help but laugh to myself when she put the headpiece over her. I sat down at my stalker post and watched her. I pretended to draw, but really I was thinking.

            I was confused about my feelings. As simple as that. I liked Seohyun and I think she’s amazing, but there was something about Yoona. She pissed me off like crazy, but at the same time, I loved hanging around her. I loved watching her various facial expressions and I loved listening to her talk and ramble. Then there was Seohyun. She was the obvious crush, the one who would take care of me.

            I watched the way she interacted with kids and smiled to myself. She started walking away gracefully. We filmed out next scene where I stumble upon her sitting on the fountain, taking a break.

            She looked up, and blushed furiously. Her eyes straightened and she stood up, getting ready to run. I put out my hand and called out, “Wait!” But according to the filming, she had to keep going.

            We watched the rest of the hyungs shoot as we waited for it to get dark. I looked out at Seoul and sighed. Our city truly was beautiful. “Seohyunnie, did you have fun today?” I asked her. She casually leaned her head against my arm and nodded. “We have one more scene, let’s make it worth it! Hwaiting!”

            I stood up and walked to the end of the wall. It was my turn to wear the stuffy mask. I placed it on my head and she giggled as I turned around and stuck out my arms. I wondered if she was really enjoying the shoot. I took off my mask and we sat down next to each other, watching the fireworks go off.

            Everyone else had finished their part of the filming and had wandered over to watch us. When I pointed out a pinwheel to her and she watched with shining eyes, I heard them coo quietly. I took her hand and traced a pattern of the remaining light with her fingers. She laughed and hugged her own headpiece to her even tighter.

            When the filming was over, the two groups gathered to eat and joke around. “Aigoo, that was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!” It was Taeyeon and she was practically foaming at the mouth.

            “Yeah! Our maknae’s growing up. Did you see him take her hand? I’m proud that he’s learning his Casanova ways from me,” Eunhyuk pretended to sniffle.

            Hyoyeon bounced over and stretched at Seohyun’s cheeks. “You two,” he said, tapping the two of us on our heads, “I greatly approve and send you my blessings.”

            There was a huge shout of “Hey Yoona!” and I turned to see Yoona walk into the tent, her cheeks were red from the cold. Hyoyeon jumped up. “Hey, you’re just in time to witness my blessing of Seokyu! You should have seen them today! They’re so adorable together, I swear I have never shipped any couple any harder than I have shipped these two.”

            Seohyun laughed nervously and hid her face in my arm. Yoona nodded, her face pinching tight. I felt a small plummet of guilt burrow itself deeper in my stomach and I swallowed. She looked genuinely upset and I had no idea why.

            But Seohyun tugged on my arm and led me the other way to watch the music video so I let my gaze drop. I followed Seohyun across the room and watched. There were murmurs of how good we looked together and I couldn’t help but agree. We were proportioned, height wise. We were both maknaes and the way she smiled at me was doting. I saw my hands reach for hers and was scared to see how intimate we looked.

            Seohyun blushed besides me and I smiled down at her fondly. She was really too cute. But I wonder if she’s the one for me.

Y POV

            I walked into the tent and was immediately assaulted with squeals of how adorable Seokyu was. I felt a heart wrenching pain and tried to swallow the bitterness that rose. Seohyun looked so happy on Kyuhyun’s arms. She looked as if she belonged there. I stood behind them and watched Kyuhyun pick up her hand and trace patterns in the sky.

            A lump grew in my throat and I could no longer stop the tears from flowing down my face. There was nothing I could do. I had lost, and it was all due to a CF. I coughed to hide my tears but I couldn’t unsee the picture.

            I didn’t know how I would survive the next few weeks filming the drama, but I had to be professional. I had to. Because if I broke down, everything would be all over. I saw him shuffle closer to her and smile down at her. That was it. My heart shattered to pieces and I turned around to go home and cry.
