전능하신 선생님 - Almighty Teacher!
Description
Jonghyun isn't one to emerge himself in his studies, but that's only one of the reasons why he can't stand third period English. The majority being the new teacher, Kim Kibum. Who just happens to be a year younger than most of his students.
The entire story doesn't contain mature content, but bits of it does. Either way, I didn't mark it as mature. Sue me. (Is that a sensitive joke on this site now, or...?) I wrote the title in Korean mostly because I really liked the fact that I knew how to write those two words in Hangul. I'm easily impressed you see... but I really like how "Teacher" looks. I don't know, man, I don't know.
Foreword
The headmaster's words had seriously taken me aback. I took a deep breath before letting his words finally sink in.
"What do you think?" He asked nervously pressing for my response
This had been the third school I had applied for in this district. I was applying for an assistant's position because of my age, but the other colleges wouldn't even consider it. Labeling me a "kid" before even reading my CV. Honestly, I could see their reason, with my age and zero experience having just recently graduated from overseas I would be lucky to land myself a preschool position. I wasn't that picky, but diapers and boo-boos didn't really suit my personality. I needed a class who I could tell to shut the up if I needed to. Patience wasn't exactly my forte.
"Sir, I-I have no experience" I choked and mentally kicked myself for it in the same breath. You're trying to sell yourself here, Kibum.
"I'm aware" the man shuffled the papers neatly on his desk "However, you've also graduated from Cambridge University"
I nodded, this was how it was meant to be. Originally, I had believed all the other schools wouldn't had spared a second thought regardless of age. I was the well-known "Almighty Key" as it was published in many Korean and English Newspapers alike.
However, the bastards had never read past the initial information bit.
"I believe you're greatly qualified and..." he cleared his throat "Well, our English teacher quit last week so..." he trailed off
I understood. This is why this school had been the third option I reminded myself, the English department being notoriously known for it's swift change of staff workers every month or so.
"I understand, Sir" I raised from my seat, bowing "I will not disappoint you."
