Jiyeon's POV 

I woke up to my phone ringing. 

'' Uh. '' I groaned '' What does Unnie want this time? '' She's always calling me and asking me dirty things about INfintie. I picked it up and said hello

'' Jiyeonie! Hurry up back to the Company! We got to start practicing. '' Nicole shouted so loud that you can hear her voice louder than the putting it on speaker. 

'' For what? I'm tired. '' I said in a tired tone 

'' Our comeback at today's showcase! '' She yelled once again 

'' oh.. I forgot about that. I'll be right over. '' I hung up the phone and started dragging myself out of bed still half asleep 

I then dragged myself over to the boy's room only to noticed they were not there. Then I remembered that they also had a comeback today. I got lost in this place somtimes. It's so big. 10 times the size as the dorm our CEO gave us. I didn't bother changing because I was too tired. My back started hurting from sleeping on the hard floor. I decided to take the bus over to the company.  One of the worst decision I've ever made. 

The first step I've made into the bus. A guy just popped out of no where and Spilled his coffee all over me. He didn't even say sorry. Aish! I'll let it go for today since I'm tired of doing anything.

I then walked over to an empty seat when some lady beat me to it. So, I had to stand worst part is that the bus was crowded so I was literally squished with other people. Then I felt something touching my thigh. I looked down and saw a hand. My eyes widened and I looked up to see and man giving me the most uncomterable smile ever. 

'' Touch me one more time Mister. and I'll break your face. '' I smiled at him innocently and smacked his hand away. 

The bus stopped at the company and I walked towards it. Then I sence somone was following me. I started walking faster and he started sprinting towards me. Next thing you know I was being dragged into an alley. 

'' Hehehehe. Why helloe there again pretty lady. '' He gave me a erted smile 

'' I warned you not to touch me Ajuhssi. '' I looked over and saw and bambooo stick on the ground. I picked it up and began wacking him with it 

'' I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH ME! YOU EN CREEP! YAH! '' I WACKED HIM LIKE I WAS BEATING UP A Pinata . 

Then, I gave him a highkick to the shuttlecock

'' People like you make me sick. '' I growled at him and walk away hitting him one more time. 

I walked into the Practice room looking like . 

'' Jiyeonah! Are you okay? '' Eunjung asked me 

'' You know. Just the usual. '' The unnies understood what happened because this wasn't the first time it happened

'' It's great that you could defend yourself in those situations, but do you really need to beat the poor guy up that bad? '' Arielle said 

'' Uh.... Yes! '' 

'' Let's start practicing guys. '' Krystal called us over and we started practicing or song, '' Day by Day '' 

After practice. 

'' So, how's infinite? '' Hyomin gave me  dirty look 

'' The worst. '' I said because they are the worst. Just because they got pretty faces doesn't mean they're perfect 

'' REALLY?! Can't be. Woohyun is so dreamy. '' Eunjung said 

'' Sunggyu is so adorble. '' Nicole smiled 

'' Ahem. Sure. '' I said sarcastically. 

'' Hey Arielle. Are you okay? '' I asked her

'' Yeah. I'm fine. '' she gave me the cold shoulder

Arielle's POV 

Why does this always happen. When ever I see my bestfreind, It bugs me inside. Does she even realize that I'm in pain because of her?

End of Arielle's POV 

After practicing for about 9 hours, it was time for our showcase. This time, it was held at the World Cup Stadium. 

'' WOH! DAEBAK! '' Nicole loved this place. 

'' It's so big Unnie. '' Hyomin said to Nicki 

'' Let's go girls '' Our manager lead us to the stadium  

We saw many other familiar faces there. Such as Beast, 2NE1, KARA, SNSD. fx, Afterschool, 2pm, 2am, MBLAQ, EXO, Teentop and then there's Infnite siding on the other side 

'' Still no sign of Nichkhun? '' Eunjung asked Wooyoung 

'' Sigh. Nope. He has to stay on the down low for now. '' Wooyoung said. 2pm was really sad 

'' I miss Khunnie. '' I pouted 

'' I know, us too. '' 2pm said

'' Well, let's leave them be guys. '' Hyomin dragged us to the locker room. 

After the showcase, My manager was driving me to Infinite's House. 

I arrived after Infinite but I was able to see part of the intense yelling. 

'' Leave me alone! '' L yelled at Dongwoo 

'' Dude. It's just a stupid necklace! FORGET ABOUT IT! '' Sungjong yelled at L who was having one of him mental breakdowns 

'' Shut Up! THAT NECKLACE IS WORTH EVERYTHING TO ME! '' L SHOUTED BACK 

'' What's so special about a stupid necklace?! I could just buy you another en one! '' Dongwoo yelled at L while Hoya, Woohyun, Sunyeol, and Sunggyu were calming L down 

'' You won't en understand. I need that Necklace! '' I ragged 

'' Fine. Then were is it? '' Woohyun asked him 

'' .............. I.I don't know. '' L started tearing up 

'' Just forget about it dude. It's been 10 years. '' Sungyeol said 

'' What do you mean 10 years Hyung? '' Sungjong asked 

'' L knows better than anyone. He told me about it. But not much. '' Sungyeol walked to the room 

L was about to run outside when he collapsed 

'' HYUNG! '' Sungjong yelled 

'' Here, I'll carry him. '' Hoya asked 

'' Nah. I got him. You can barely walk. '' Dongwoo piggybacked him to the room  

'' Is he alright? '' I walked in

'' Nah. He'll be fine. '' Sunggyu said 

'' Yeah. This always happens when he has a breakdown. '' Sungjong said 

'' Did he lose something? '' I was very concerned. This was the first time seeing L act like this. He always had that cold city man image that made him fearless, but this time, he was like a puppy that lost it's mom. His heart was like a Lock that's just waiting for someone to unlock it 

'' Nothing to be worried about. '' Woohyun told me 

'' Alright. Goodnight guys. See you tomorrow '' I walked to my room 

'' Night. '' They said and walked to the room 

I walked into my room and laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling 

What could make him act like that? I kept thinking until I remembered that they were arguing about a necklace

'' A necklace? ''

''Why would he care about a necklace so much. But I can't blame him. When I thought I lost you, I went crazy. '' I touched the necklace that was on my neck

'' I almost died for you. '' I stared at my necklace. I let out a long sigh and grabbed my bag. I put on an oversized hoodie and left the house

''I can't believe I'm doing this. '' I called a cab 

I was walking outside when Woohyun stopped me 

'' Jiyeon. Where are you going? '' He asked me 

'' Oh. Just gonna go see my Unnies. '' I waved and left the house and walked over to the taxi

'' When I got inside, the cab driver asked me where I wanted to go 

'' Um. '' Shot. I don't even no where to look. Uh. Why do I always get involved into people's business. I hate when I do that

'' I guess drive me to World Cup Stadium '' I told him. That was the only place where he could have lost it. I mean, the way they danced tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if their skinny jeans ripped like mine.

I got off and noticed a security guard standing around.

'' Um. Hi. '' I greeted him

'' Oh. Miss Jiyeon! I'm a big fan! '' He smiled at me which made me feel kinda uncomterable

'' Oh. Thanks! Can I go inside. I forgot something and I really need it

'' I dont know. ''

'' Please. '' I begged him

'' Anything for you. '' He opened the door and I walked in. I first had to past the lobby, then the locker room, then the museum, then the main halls, and then finally I reached the stadium. It was massive.

'' Aw. How am I suppose to look for it here? '' I whinned. There's got to be like 55,000 seats and a 150 yard feild.

'' This is gonna take a while. '' I first checked the field. I started crawling on the ground army style to get a better view

''It's taking me just 3 hours to search the field now just a whole life time to search the bleachers '' 

I walked up one step out of 100 or more and then roamed around. It took me 1 hour just to search one stepped. How amd I going to search 100?! I kept searching and searching. I was about to check for the time when I realized that I forgot my phone at home. 

'' My life . '' I pouted and continued looking. It's probably 2am by now. 

Finally, when I thought that I was going to give up hope. I finally found it on the 47th step. Near seat 23230. I walked over to it and picked it up. I looked at it closely and was shocked

'' It can't be. It's impossible '' I shock my head 

'' I guess it's not one of a kind after all. '' I looked at it and then looked at mine 

His was a Lock while mine was a key. 

'' It's so similar though. '' I kept looking at it remembering what happened 10 years ago

FLASHBACK

'' Vi! Happy Birthday! '' Ricky said to me. Ricky and Arielle are my best friend in the whole wide world, 

It was my 6th birthday. Ricky threw me a little birthday party after school. It was only me and him. I didn't mind. As long as I was there with him, I didn't mind

'' Thanks oppa! '' I smiled at him 

'' Vi. Closes your Eyes. '' He said to me 

'' What for? '' I asked him 

'' Just do it. '' I closed my eyes and felt something on my neck. 

'' It's so beautiful Ricky. But why a key? '' I opened my eyes

'' It's a pair. I have a lock and you have a key. Promise me that you will always wear it no matter what. '' He looked in my eyes

'' I promise. '' I held out my pinky 

'' What are you doing? '' He looked confused 

'' Pinky promise silly. '' 

'' hehe. This kid. '' He chuckled and we pinky promise 

'' When I bought it, the saleslady told me that it's one of a kind. That only your key could open my lock. That the only the rightful owner that's been through everything with it can make it open. When that time comes, wait for me Vi. She also told me that there was a couple who once owned the necklaces. He was going off to war, and the girl never knew. But she still kept on wearing it every day waiting for him. She wore it for 9 years. What's cool about this necklace is you can't open it right away. You got to wait for them to age, like the love the two people have for eachother. It has to go through happy and tough times. Then one day, It will finally open when it's time. Cool right? What's also cool is that she was the girl. She passed it down to me '' He told me 

'' What happened to the couple? Did they open it? Did the sale lady and the guy get married '' I asked him 

'' I don't know. I guess she never told me that part. She told me that only fate can decide. '' 

'' Ricky? '' 

'' Hm? '' He stared at me 

'' Can I marry you? '' I asked him 

'' Aish. This kid. I'm going to miss you. '' He said to me 

'' Miss me? What are you talking about? '' I asked him

'' Nothing kiddo. Let's go home. '' We walked home and Then morning came. How I wished morning didn't come. I wished that time could just stop on my birthday. I went to school and when It was lunch time, Ricky oppa was no where to be seen. When I got home I went to my room and called Ricky's house number. The line had no connections. I walked over to Ricky's house since it was right next to mine, but no one opened the door. I went back to my house only to hear the phone ring. 

'' Hello? '' I answer 

'' Vi. This is Ricky oppa. Right now, I'm on my way to the airport. I'm going to be gone for a while. I don't know when I'm coming back. I want you to live happy and healthy. I don't want a day when you're not smiling. I can't hear you sing anymore. But promise me that you'll always sing everyday. When you sing, it means I'm right there next to you Vi. I have to go now. Take care. '' He hung up 

I dropped my phone and ran to my mom 

'' UMMA! DRIVE ME TO THE AIRPORT NOW! PLEASE UMMA. PLEASE. '' I begged her 

'' There's not much i can do sweaty. I'm afraid Juilie and her son already left  '' 

From then, I studied real hard. Kept my promise. Changed my name and moved to Korea alone to pursue my dreams

End of flashback 

'' It's been 10 years already. '' I'll always keep my promise. I smiled 

'' But, it won't hurt to try right? '' I took my necklace and was about to open the lock when the stadium's light turned off 

'' You got to be kidding me! Again?! '' Why is the lights always turning off on me ? 

I took a step and then Just when I thought it couldn't get any worst

'' AHHHHHHH. OUCH. OW! '' I Screamed as I was falling down the steps. I finally grabbed one of the chairs and stopped myself from rolling down. I notcied I've rolled down quiet a lot of steps since I felt like I was bleeding, almost all my bones are about to break, a sprained my ankle, and hit my head numerous times I can barely remember what just happened

 I tired to stand up but I could. 

'' Ouch. Why does bad things happen to me? '' I was tearing up from the pain 

( Back in Infinites dorm ) 

'' Hyung I'm hungry. '' Sungjong said to Sunggyu 

'' Me too. '' Dongwoo said 

'' I'll ask Jiyeon to make us food . '' Sunjong stormed out of the door and into Jiyeon's Room only to notice her phone. He picked it up and walked back to the room 

'' Have you guys seen Jiyeon? '' Sungjong said 

'' She's with the rest of ICE3 right now. '' Woohyun said 

'' She forgot her phone. '' Sungjong held up her phone 

'' Throw it over. '' Sungjong threw the phone over to Woohyun and woohyun called one of The girls. The found all 6 of them on her speed dial and called Eunjung 

'' Hello? '' Eunjung asked 

'' Hello? Is this Eunjungsshi? This is Woohyun. '' Woohyun said 

'' OH! Deh. This is Eunjung. Why are you calling me with Jiyeon's phone? And at 3:30 in the morning? '' She asked. She was still half asleep

'' Oh. Tell Jiyeon That she forgot her phone here. '' Woohyun told her 

'' Why me? '' She said 

'' She's with you guys isn't she? '' Woohyun was confused. 

'' Noo? '' Eunjung was confused 

'' oh. Nvm. I found her. Bye '' Woohyun hung up 

'' . Guys. Jiyeon's missing. '' Woohyun said 

'' What do you mean missing? She's probably just out. '' Hoya said

'' At 3:30 in the morning? '' Woohyun gave hoya the '' God you're stupid glare '' 

'' Where could she be? '' Sungjong asked 

'' Some where important that she doesn't want anyone to know. '' Woohyun said 

'' Did she tell you where she was going? '' Hoya asked 

'' Nope. '' Woohyun answer 

'' Where did you think she could have went? '' Woohyun asked L, but L was still in his own world Not giving a to what people say 

'' ............... I GOT IT! She kept asking me about the necklace. '' Woohyun said 

'' NECKLACE! '' L finally snapped to reality when he heard the word necklace

'' You dont think she- '' Dongwoo asked 

'' I dont know. She's those kind of people that would do stupid things. '' Hoya said 

'' Oh yeeh. The whole Pole incident. '' Dongwoo said and started laughing at Hoya 

'' I bet she's at the Stadium. '' Sunggyu got his car keys 

L's POV 

Is she really looking for my Necklce? Why would she help me? Why would someone do that..............for me? 

'' Hurry up L! '' Woohyun rushed me to the car

We arrived at the Stadium only to noticed that it was locked

'' . Now how do we get in. Let's Jump the back fench. '' Woohyun said 

We went to the back and jumped the fench, suprisingly there was no alarm. 

'' It's so dark. I can barely see. '' Hoya said 

'' Switch the Emergency light switch. '' Sunggyu told Dongwoo

Dongwoo pulled the switch and the lights  

End of L's POV 

Jiyeon's POV 

'' The lights are on. '' I noticed that i was on step 7. I fell down a total of 40 steps. I also noticed my legs and arm were all scratched up and bleeding. I couldn't move. I could only crawl on the floor. 

'' JIYEON! '' I heard people screaming my name. I peaked my head and then noticed Infinite. 

'' . Why are they here. I don't want them seeing my like this. '' I said really quietly because every word I said was like a bullet shouting throw my stomach. It hurts so much. I was literally tearing up 

'' Jiyeon. Where could she be? '' Woohyun asked Hoya. 

'' Jiyeon? '' I heard someone calling me 

'' I looked up and saw a figure. '' 

'' Jiyeon! Are you okay?! '' He shock me as I slowly collasped on the floor and fainted
