Ren & Minhyun: Hand Holding

It was simply that they liked to feel each other’s feelings rather than express them fully. Not in a erted way, of course; but sometimes Minhyun would just like to gently run his pinky across Ren’s until they hooked under the table or Ren would just like to sit next to Minhyun and rest his head on his shoulder to feel his gentle heartbeat.

They tended to be content like that, even if the rest of group was a bit more expressive with exactly how they felt; the two were comfortable enough just knowing the other was right there. No need to shout it from the rooftops, no need for fan service, no need to be making flirtatious comments in the others general direction. No, just their gazes meeting from across the room and instantly they would feel calm, just to know the other was right there near them.

“Tired?” Ren asked after a particularly devastating fan signing where the rope holding the fans broke loose. It wasn’t that they didn’t enjoy their fans being eager to see them, but the fans had gotten so excited at the chance for close contact they’d nearly flipped over the tables and gave everyone a heart attack in the process.

Minhyun nodded gently before snuggling into the couch next to Ren, lips curling upwards into a faint smile as their legs shared a cushioned leg rest. JR was busy accepting all the apologies from the store owner, Baekho and Aron laughing behind him. The brunet took this chance to rest his hand between himself and Ren, palm facing upwards. Ren’s slim hand took his own firmly, without regrets, their fingers entwined as Ren used his other hand to skim through a magazine. Minhyun took the moment to lean back and close his eyes, faint looks now forming a beautiful smile.
