What.She.Didn’t.Know

One week passed but there’s still no sign of Hoya, everytime she asks INFINITE or SNSD about him, they would make lies and try to change the topic

“Howon..you pabo..why are you doing this to me?”

She pouted while looking at the picture of Hoya and her , she heaved a deep sigh then looked at the window where she saw a frail-looking patient, he was skinny and was sitting on a wheel chair 

“Now I’m hallucinating, I’m even seeing you as a patient *pouts*”

“Don’t you love me anymore? I hope no, but if I was right, why don’t you atleast say it to me..why do you have to ignore me and my calls?”

Another week passed and Hyoyeon can now go out of her room with the help ofcourse of her crutches, she decided to go outside where patients often go and breathe some fresh air but thanks to the rain, she can’t do anything but to stay inside and stroll around the white building..she suddenly stopped infront of the room when she saw..

 “Lee-Ho-won?”

She read the name outside the said room

It can’t be that he’s..

She knocked at the door but no one replied so she just entered

“Excuse me, is anyone here?”

To her shock..she didn’t saw Hoya but what she saw is a beautiful lady facing her back, she’s an EXACT OPPOSITE of her..her hair was long and jet black. She was wearing a dress fitted to her slender figure and a not-so-high-heels maybe because she’s already tall, it shows through her long beautiful legs 

“W-who are you?”

Hyoyeon stuttered then the lady turn around

A girl..in his room..no.no..she might just be his cousin

“Didn’t he tell you anything about me?, I thought he said..”

I don’t want to hear it but these damned feet won’t move

She looked down and breathed heavily then swallowed hard

 “A-Are you Howon’s girlfriend now?”

“A-aniyo..I’m his Noona” she waved her hands in denial

He has a noona?

A smile of relief formed on her lips but a thought suddenly came across her mind, why is Hoya in the hospital? …she felt cold sweat on her forehead and clenched her fist to ready herself

“But..why is he here?d-did something happen?”

“I can’t answer that”

“Here”

She gave the CD to Hyoyeon, which was titled:

FOR HYOYEON

“He wants you to watch it alone”

Hoya’s noona went out of the room while Hyo played the CD on the player, at the start , only his lower body part was showing he was fixing his hospital clothes which made Hyo giggle but it faded when his pale face with a bonnet on his head fully showed in the screen

“Hyo..by the time you’re watching this..maybe I’m already in the Operating Room or somewhere far far away from you, I..I have a Brain Cancer, and it’s in Stage4, the doctor actually said I have a small chance of surviving but when I remembered how you fight for your dreams and how you fight to be with me..I know I just have to undergo this Operation”

This can’t be true

“Please don’t be angry to me or hate me, I can’t go peacefully if you do that. And please don’t get angry at our friends for not telling you about my sickness. I know it’s hard for you now but I wish you could move on, that’s the only time I could be happy in heaven…”

What? What is this? Is this a joke?

She finished the video still hoping it was a joke and shakingly exited the room

No, this must be a bad joke

Her body felt numb and the words of Hoya kept on repeating on her head

With her crutches, she limpingly rushed to the Operating Room

“Maybe you think it’s unfair that I left you, but no..I’m always beside you and I will always be there no matter what”

It’s not true

“Now it’s your turn to dance for me, I’ll never forget you, I hope you too, don’t forget the nerdy Dance Machine who fall for the Dancing Queen goddess”

How can you be so selfish?

Her lips where still shaking but she still managed to speak

 “W-where is the Operating Room?”

 “Turn left there ma’am then you’ll find it immediately”

“T-thanks”

“Are you okay ma’am?”

Then at that time..i-it really was hi-m?

"Ma'am?"

Tears flowed nonstop from her face. Catching her every breath, she remembered all those times when she always see a man under the shades of the tree looking at her, the tree was a bit far but she could tell his sight is directed at her window and he’s always smiling with his white teeth showing

"If there really is a second life..I still want to be Kim Hyoyeon’s Nerd~ssi ..eventhough many hindrance came our way..I don’t regret anything as long as we’re together"

She reached the Operating Room and the doors opened..the nurses where pushing a surgery bed with a body covered with white sheet

It’s as if the everything became slow motion and her knees felt weak

“Ma’am, are you okay?”

No..it can’t be him

She slowly removed the upper part of the white sheet and her world crushed when she saw the lifeless Hoya, his cold pale face that made her fall for him, his closed eyes that used to be so sparkly when they’re together and his lips that always kisses her and tell her comforting words whenever she’s down and hopeless. All of their memories together came back to her then suddenly, she hugged his body and cried all her tears out

“I’ll miss you.. I love you Kim Hyoyeon..you’re the only one I will love..I’m happy eventhough I can only see you now from a far…Sarang”

“You’re Hyoyeon~ssi right? He told me to give this to you no matter what” he opened his hand and gave the Infinity ring to her, she took it and cried on his body

“This must be a bad dream..you can’t die, please wake up”

She shook his body and lowered her head then SNSD and Infinite came rushing to her

 “Hyoyeon!”

Sunggyu and Woohyun came to her side

“Hyung..”

SungJong cried

“This bastard, how can he not tell us he’ll undergo that operation?”

“Howon~ssi”

SNSD cried and held Hyoyeon’s shoulders

“He actually chose to be admitted here, in the same hospital as you so he can see you everyday”

Sungyeol cried and Myungsoo held his shoulder

“Are you his relatives?”

The nurse came closer to them

“W-we're his friends”

Dongwoo sobbed

“I’m sorry but, we have to get him to the Funerary”

“No! you can’t do that, I told you! he’s not dead”

Hyoyeon hugged him again and shook her head

“Eonnie..”

Seohyun couldn’t watch anymore and faced her back

“Calm down ma’am”

“I won’t let you touch him!”

She glared at the nurses

“Hyoyeon~ah..he’s already dead”

SooYoung sat next to her with tears on her face

“L-Let’s just face it like he wishes”

Myungsoo added

“Mianhae eonnie”

SNSD cried

“We’re sorry we didn’t tell you”

Infinite and SNSD looked down in guilt

“No..no”

“Waeyo? Why does it have to be you?”

“We promised not to leave each other right? you said we’ll always be together”

“I’m so stupid..I didn’t know..mianhae..”

“Stop it..it’s not your fault Hyoyeon”

Dongwoo and Sunggyu helped her get up

“Mianhae..mianhae”

She hugged the Infinity ring then remembered the video again..it hurts her heart to accept that he’s already gone but what hurts her more is that he’s still smiling in the video like he always do..eventhough he’s having a hard time and he’s going through all of those pain..alone

“Saranghaeyo Oppa..I’ll only love you too”

"I promise to dance only for you"

She put the ring back to Hoya’s finger and kissed him her last goodbye before the nurses get him to the funerary

After almost 2 years later

Eventhough it’s been almost 2 years, some fans still grieved for his death while others have moved on but still remembers him on the depths of their hearts..

“This is Star Dance Battle Solo 2014!”

“OMO, IU~ssi who do you think will win this time?”

“I don’t have any idea…they’re all good”

“Deh..the sunbaenims all practiced hard to be the winner”

“I can’t wait”

“Then let’s start! Here is..blah..blah”

BACKSTAGE

“You’re next..please get ready”

“Deh”

“Eonnie..you can do it!”

Seohyun pumped her fist

“We’ll be at the 2^nd row so we can see you perfectly”

Yoona held her hand

“Hwaiting Kim-choding!”

Taeyeon also pumped her fist

“Thanks guys”

“You’re on”

AT THEIR SEATS

“It’s been a while since she started dancing again”

Sooyoung smiled while looking at the stage

“She said she wants to win this for Hoya”

Tiffany added then Hyoyeon's performance started

“That move..isn’t it Hoya’s routine?”

Taeyeon pointed at Hyoyeon with wide eyes

“Yeah..but she mixed her moves as well”

Yuri explained then Yoona nodded in agreement

“Wah..she’s so cool”

Sunny clapped

“It’s like the accident didn’t happen years ago”

Jessica sighed with a smile on her face

Oppa can you see me from there? I’m dancing for you..do you recognize these moves? I memorized all the moves you taught me, it’s like us isn’t it? our moves are combined as one..just like us, how our hearts beat as one..I can still feel you dancing with me now

“And the winner is SNSD Kim Hyoyeon”

“Chukadurimnida!”

“Chukahae!”

“Uwaah!!!”

“Eonnie!”

SNSD clapped and cheered

Oppa! I won..

 Infinite’s song played while the MC’s and other participants are going down the stage

“It’s the unpublished song written by Hoya~oppa right?”

She looked up and smiled then the video zoomed to the Infinity ring Hoya gave her..the audience and many fans of Hoya were shocked when they saw it was the same ring that he was wearing before. The audience cheered and buzzed but all she can hear is the voice of Hoya in the song and the last lyrics he said..    

“Sarang”

“Haeyo”

I didn't update last tuesday because of the technical problems in AFF..mianhae :(

So how was it?*Hides face with a pillow*

I really had a hard time choosing the right ending for this but I hope you liked it
