Meanwhile, the rest of the Exo are watching eagerly on their seats.

“I wanna see him now.” Tao said, a little bit impatient.

“Yeah~ I wonder how he looks like.” Xiumin tap his lips as he imagines things on his head.

“Will I fall for him?” Chen joked, chuckling.

Lay shook his head, “I bet Taemin is still prettier than Kai.”

Luhan, Tao, Xiumin and Chen eyed him.

“Change of preference?” Luhan asked him with a smirk.

As the five of them kidding around, their leader – Kris, is preoccupied with something else.

Would I do their plan? Or, would I do mine? He asked himself.

Her sixteenth birthday came and the three good fairies planned a party and something extra special for their surprise.

The lights focused now on the beautiful young maiden with a long golden hair while the fairies on the other side of the stage freezes for a while with dimmer lights.

Princess Jonghee walks through the forest as he start dancing and prancing, making use of his ballet skills and then hums as the birds and other animals made of wood surrounds him.

The dim lights on the fairies black out then when it lit on, Prince Jiyoung rode on a fake horse made of wood with rollers on its feet.

“Beautiful~ Triumph, let’s find out whose voice is that.” You told to the non-living thing horsie. You ride towards the humming.

Princess Jonghee appeared again, sitting on the stage in a very womanly way with the fake animals gathered in front of him as if listening to his story.

“I’ve dreamt of a tall and handsome prince and it was so romantic. Oh. We walked together, and talked together and before we bid goodbye, he take me in his arms, and then… I wake up.” Kai ended his squeals and thanked God he did it in a cuter way unlike before. Squealing is not his habit.

As Kai ended, he heard rustling of leaves. He turned his gaze on the prince riding on a horse.

For that moment, Kai blushed. His face felt so hot. It was burning and unlike to his usual reactions towards you, this was the weirdest but he loves to admit how he likes to feel this way. This isn’t part of the script, to feel like a jerk and look like to be passing out at any moment but he cannot hold his self up.

Everything he feels now is so real. You’re still beautiful on your prince costume and he can’t contain his emotions now as soon as you flash your sweet innocent smile on him. His lips started to pull up to a sweet soft smile.

As Kim watches this very little scene, she can’t explain how it really felt different form the final rehearsal and from all the practices you’ve done. The emotions, the facial expressions and the feeling that this scene gives the audience is surreal. There’s no taint of pretense and inhibitions and she has a very good feeling that something is very special between you and Kai at this moment

Your eyes fixes on Kai in the same way around, dazed on how he looks so weird but your heart is beating faster as you drew nearer on him. Somehow, his eye smile and his lips appeared to be so irresistible to look at. Gazing at him makes your pound more. Something inside you wanted to explode. It is something that maybe you’re hiding for a long time. Something that was kept just to avoid yourself from hurting your own heart but in some way
