"Yah! Kyungsoo where are you going?"
Kyungsoo clutched his chest and ran faster.
I ran after him and before he turned he said
"stop following me!"
I followed him and heard a door slam. I turned around and Kyungsoo was gone.
Why would Kyungsoo run from me? Unless... He feels guilty for trolling me. But wait, shouldn't Taemin be here too?
Wufan doesn't seem like he's lying though.
Oh whatever, I'll just find Kyungsoo later.
Sigh. This seems legit though, maybe I'm really in the past. Kyungsoo doesn't seem like the Kyungsoo I know and people keep assuming I'm Yoomi.
I should take advantage of that , in all the time traveling dramas I ever watched most of the protagonist usually end up in rural areas or people don't know who they are.
At least I ended up in the palace with people who know me.
I still need to know how to get back though, but how?
I tried to walk back to the room I woke up in but I eventually got lost.
The palace was surprisingly quiet and since I can't find my room I decided to look around.
I was walking around peeking into rooms until I saw a room with a piano.
" a piano?"
Were pianos even created before the 15th century?
" oh Agashi, your not suppose to be here" says a maid as she closes the door
I wonder why? It's just a piano room.
" Agashi, Minhee-shi is looking for you" says the maid
Minhee is Yoomi's so called best friend eh.
"Can you bring me to her?"
"Ne" replied the maid
The walk to where Minhee were was very long, but I didn't mind it because the view was beautiful. There were flowers laced through vines and bushes. There were butterflies flying around and also a pond with lotus flowers on lily pads.
The maid stopped and pointed to me where Minhee were.
I nodded and walked towards that direction.
The first thing I saw was a gazebo surrounded with Hydrangeas. Those were my favorite flowers.
When I went inside there were no one there.
Did I go to the wrong gazebo?
Or maybe the maid was pointing somewhere else.
As I was thinking, someone place their hands over my eyes.
I tried prying their hand away from me but that person kept their hands still.
"who is it?"
"it's me" said a deep voice
What the? It's a guy...
I scratched that persons hands and that person put their hand away.
I turned around and saw a very pretty girl staring at me.
I looked around the gazebo and the only person there was that pretty girl.
I swear I heard a guy, but it can't be. This girl was too pretty to have such a deep voice.
"Are you Minhee?"
The girl stared at me with a weird look
"of course Yoomi, why are you asking? Don't you remember your best friend?" said Minhee
Surprisingly her voice isn't deep like the guy voice I just heard, but it sounded weird.
" Oh..."
I can't think of anything, if I say I'm Yoomi she won't believe it. I have to make something up.
"No, to be honest I don't remember you or anyone here"
"what happened? Did you lose your memory or something ?" asked Minhee
Even if it's a lie, it's a good excuse since I don't know anything that goes around here
" I guess so, I don't really remember "
"oh really, that " said Minhee
" anyways, I'm Choi Minhee your best friend" said Minhee as she sat close to me
I stared at her and noticed that her skin was absolutely flawless. Her eyes were big and doe like, her eyelashes were long and her face was pale.
Minhee's hair was also pulled back making her face look small. I stared at her hair and it was black,braided back and she had no bangs.
I stated at my own hair and saw that it was dyed brown with some blonde highlights. I also had bangs; I must have looked odd to these people.
" I'm older than you by the way so you can call me unnie" Said Minhee
Really? She's older than me, it doesn't look that way
" your older than me? You look younger than me though"
" yeah I know" she replied
Minhee smiled and then talked about herself and about me and what I forgot.
It seems like Minhee actually believed that I lost my memory.
For some reason, when I'm with Minhee it really felt as if she was my best friend. It was so natural and comfortable for me to talk to her.
We ended up talking for hours and it became night time.
"it's getting late. I think we should go back now" said Minhee
Minhee stood up and was going to leave when I said
" Unnie! "
" yes?" she replied
"I don't know where my room is"
Minhee stood there confused for a second
" oh yeah, I forgot you lost your memory. Ok, I'll bring you there." Minhee replied
It was quiet on the way to my room. When we arrived at my door Minhee stared at me as if she wanted to tell me something.
" I guess this is it"
"yeah..." said Minhee
I was about to go inside my room but Minhee grabbed my hands.
" Yoomi, do you really not remember me?" asked Minhee
Didn't I tell her I don't remember anything?
" yea... I don't remember you or anyone in this palace"
"ok, I hope you remember me soon." said Minhee as she hugged me.
"goodnight Yoomi, I'll come over tommorow" she said as she left
I went inside my room and saw a bed. Yes a bed, one that you can probably find in the 21st century.
I looked around and noticed that the room was like old Korean and western fusion style.
Beside my bed was a table with a mirror and some old fashion Korean accessories and makeup.
I saw a Closet and inside were some hanboks.
I was tired so I just lay on my bed.
I wanted to sleep but I couldn't. One thing was stuck in my head, why wasn't I allowed to go inside the piano room?
Also, how come my room is partially westernized?
I thought that ancient Koreans didn't like foreigners and didn't want to have anything to do with them.
-Yawn- well, whatever it's the palace. I guess it's easy for royalty to get anything they want. I just deal with it tommorow, time for me to go to sleep
