Trying to talk over webcam or on the phone became too complicated with the time differences, so they began to write letters. Key would send her long, beautifully written, poetically detailed novels. And Katheryn would answer back with letters that deeply described every detail in her life as well. Key would never boast about his success with SHINee, he was more interested in the small events of her life. Key would know all of the hilarious stories of Katheryns' friends, everything going on with her favorite professor Mrs. Harvey, he would even love to read about the petty drama that always seemed to follow Katheryn everywhere she went. 

One morning Key wakes up with several missed calls from Katheryn and a text that read "Key, Call me. I need your help." Without a second thought Key calls her repeatedly until she picks up. When Katheryn finally answers, she is in tears, sobbing into the phone "Hello? Key?"

"It's me, did something happen? Are you ok?"         

"Yes, I'm fine," her sobs growing softer, ”Sorry if i panicked you, I'm in a lot of trouble and for a minute I was convinced that I was moving to Korea." Katheryn slightly laughed at herself, but Key didn't seem to hear.

"What?! Why?!"

"I know it sounds ridiculous, but I have to move as soon as I can and the first thing I thought of was going to see you."

"Aneyo! You should! At least come for a visit!!" Key cheered happily, "but, why so sudden? What happened?" his tone became suddenly serious.

Katheryn stuttered, "I..um. It's a long story and I really don't wanna tell it over the phone-"

"Okay then, where are you? Can you get on your computer?"

"Oh! Yeah, sure." She was surprised at his urgency "Ok, I'm logged in." Keys' beaming face popped up on her computer screen. "Hey, you!"

"Anyoung!" Key noticed how puffy her eyes were from crying, "Now tell me what happened.."
