Most people didn’t know this, but Kim Kiki was not a day person. No, this child, thanks to her mother, was a night owl. The members of Super Junior though, were day people, or liked to be day people. For Kim Yesung though, he was a light sleeper and usually the one forced to hear Kiki’s adventures in the night world. when the child stayed at the groups dorm, it wasn’t unusual to hear her in the Kyumin bedroom playing Kyu’s games. Nor was it unusual to hear Kyu cursing about his high score being beaten. But, it was unusual to see and hear her in Yesung’s room. She had learned from a very young age not to enter this room at night due to Yesung’s light ability to sleep. She only entered Yesung’s room when it stormed or she was very sleepy and wanted to smell her appa’s old bed he used when working late.

“Kiki, what are you doing?” Yesung finally asked after an hour of hearing the girl’s small chuckles.

“I’m drawing,” she replied making Yesung smile. He could hear the joy in her voice.

“In the dark?” Yesung questioned.

“Ani, I have a nightlight with me.” She said with a giggle. Yesung nodded, it was still strange to hear her in his room, but it made him happy to hear something of Ryeowook back in the room. And it was no secret she shared his laughter. Don’t get him wrong, she had a lot of Ryeowook’s features and quirks. But due to her age she still hid his talents.

“What are you drawing?” Yesung asked too lazy to actually sit up and look at her masterpiece.

“I’m drawing my family.” She stated. Yesung smiled, that girl loved to draw.

“Why not go to sleep, it’s two in the morning?” Yesung asked moving to the side hoping the girl would come lay in his arms.

“Ok,” she laughed before he heard her walking to his bed. Her eyesight in the dark amazed him. She claimed it was from all the raw carrots she stole from Kyu when Sungmin made him eat vegetables. He smiled when he smelt the vanilla scented shampoo her father used.

“You miss them, don’t you.” Yesung whispered. Kiki nodded in his arms.

“Don’t worry they’ll be back tomorrow.” He replied holding her tighter in his embrace.

“Uncle Yeye,” she whispered.

“Ne,” Yesung yawned.

“Do you love Appa?” she questioned making the older man pause.

“Of course I do, he’s my little dongsaeng,” Yesung responded. Kiki giggled.

“No silly, I mean love him like in the Yewook fics. Umma said you loved him before they dated, so do you still love him?” she asked.

“Of course I do,” Yesung stated this time without pause, “But I love your mother as well. And they love eachother very much. Your father is happy and in return I am happy.” Yesung explained.

“Is that why you put a snapping turtle in his bed last month?” Kiki asked.

“That was a whole different story sweet heart.” Yesung laughed as the memory of Larry filled his head. That turtle would forever haunt both he and Ryeowook.

“The next morning Yesung woke with Kiki cuddled in his arms. He could faintly hear her teeth grinding against eachother making him sigh. She looked just like Ryeowook when he slept. He could hear the other members laughing in the kitchen as he sat up and carefully placed her in the middle of the bed. His eyes roamed over to the empty bed opposite of him and widened his eyes. the white wall now housed small stick figures of all of the members and Rin standing beside a happy little girl on a giraffes back. Leeteuk and the manager would not be happy once they discovered Kiki’s masterpiece. But Yesung didn’t mind. He quickly took a picture sending it to Ryeowook with a smile and a heart. It wasn’t unusual to find Kiki absent at breakfast, but it was unusual to find Yesung teary eyed at breakfast holding a reply from Ryeowook close to his heart. He may not have gotten Ryeowook like in the fanfics, but, he had gotten something so much better. He had gotten a true place in Ryeowook’s family.

“KIM KIKI GET YOUR OUT OF BED RIGHT NOW AND CLEAN THIS WALL!” Leeteuk’s voice screamed throughout the dorm. Nope there was nothing unusual or usual in the Super Junior dorms, because Super Junior was and never would be a usual or unusual group. They were just Super Junior, nothing else could describe them, they were a family.
