Chapter 5
My Soulmate
Jessica and Yoona were sitting in Froggie Puccino. They ordered Vanilla Chocolate Mint Ice Cream and Strawberry Banana Splits.
*Oolalala lalalala Oolalala Ooh Oh~
“Yeopuseyo?” Jessica answered her phone. “Mmm, nae…” she nodded as she fed a scoop of ice-cream into . There was quite a long silence before she answered back. “Mwo? Jeongmal yo? Waeyo… Ottohke dwingoya?” She sighed.
Yoona, who was just listening, ate her ice-cream silently. Though, in her head, thousands of questions were flying.
“Araso, I’ll be there in a short while.” Then, she ended her call.
It sounds like it was a big problem, but seeing Jessica’s cool and slumber face, she couldn’t tell whether it is big or small.
“Waeyo, Sica Onnie?” Yoona asked.
“Oh, palli mogo. There are little problems about the boutique’s delivery.”
“Oh, araso. I finished mine.” Yoona said as she put on her sling bag. “Kaja.”
As they walked out, Yoona skidded to a stop—her eyes opened wide. “Omo!”
“Mwoga?” Jessica turned back.
“Nae phone. Um, Sica Onnie, chamkanmanhio.”
“Hmm, I’ll wait at the car. Palli wa.”
“Nae.” Yoona ran inside the shop and to their place just now.
“Ahh~ isseo…” relieved, she took her phone and put it in her bag. As she turned around, she bumped onto someone.
Ah, appa…
“Chwaesonghabnida~” she bowed her head 90 degrees.
“Kwaenchanayo…” he answered.
As she lifted her head up, both of them were surprised. “Neo…”
“Hey, I think I know you.” Donghae said with a big smile on his face.
“Yeah, you helped me.” Yoona chuckled. “And wow, we meet again!”
He laughed. “Yeah…”
They stood there smiling, looking at each other’s appearance.
“So, where are you going? Have a seat.” He pulled out a chair at a table nearest to them.
“Kwaenchanayo. I’m going.” Yoona smiled as she nodded her head.
“Oh, hehe, too bad.”
“Well, it’s okay. You sit down!” Yoona’s turned to pull out a chair. “I’ll treat you.”
“What? No, no, it’s okay. I’m fine.”
“No! It’s on me. It’s a treat because you helped me last time.” Yoona insisted.
Donghae chuckled. “Okay.” He pulled out a chair and sit on it while Yoona clapped her hands happily.
“So what do you want?”
“Hmm, anything.” He answered.
“Anything? Alright… Strawberry…”
“Wait, I’m not finished yet. I meant, anything… expensive.” Donghae smiled.
Yoona’s eyes popped out. “Mwo?”
“Hahaha, I’m just kidding. Yeah, you can choose anything. I eat everything. But, as long as it’s delicious.”
Yoona smiled. “Hmm, I got just the right thing. Wait here!” she walked to the counter and ordered Chocolate Vanilla Mint Ice Cream Sundaes with Strawberry Syrups.
“Ha, igaeyo.” She walked back to the table with a tray of ice-cream.
“What did you ordered? Oh?” he frowned as Yoona put down the tray.
“Chocolate Vanilla Mint Ice Cream Sundaes with Strawberry Syrups coming!” She giggled. “Oddaeyo? Chuwahaeyo?”
Donghae slowly snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. “Oh…” His thoughts of Jessica slowly crept in.
“Waeyo? You don’t like it?”
“Ah, anhio. Neomu Chuwahaeyo.” Donghae took a spoon and pulled the ice-cream closer to him.
“Keojitmal.”
“Yah, na bom mido.”
“You looked like you don’t like it. If you want, I can order another one.”
“No, no it’s okay. It’s just that…” he paused. “There is someone I knew… she really love this sundae.”
“Oh…” Yoona bit her lips, thinking that the girl he was talking about had died. “I’m sorry.”
He smiled. “It’s not your fault. It’s okay. I’ll try. This is the first time in 2 years I tasted this ice-cream.” Then, he fed couple of scoops into his mouth. “Masittda~ Komawoyo!”
Yoona giggled. “Manhi mogo.”

Yoona smiled and stood on her feet. “Bye!” she ran out of the shop.
“Take care!” he yelled.
